My sister surprised me with this horseback riding experience as a gift, and I was genuinely…read moreexcited--especially about riding along the beach and having my family, including my 4-year-old son, watch from the cabanas. It was something I had really been looking forward to. Unfortunately, the experience did not match what was advertised. When it was our turn, our group included two younger children (around age 8 and up), and because of that, the guides decided not to take us through the main beach route. Instead, we only went along the shoreline for what felt like less than two minutes before being redirected back onto a road. We were told this change was due to the presence of the children and the guides not feeling comfortable continuing along the intended beach path. While I understand safety is important, this was never communicated beforehand. We paid for a beach horseback riding experience--not a brief pass by the water followed by a road ride. What made it more disappointing was that my family had been waiting to watch this special moment, only to find out last minute that we wouldn't even be going through the designated beach area that was part of the tour. This experience was not cheap, and we did not receive what was advertised. I would strongly recommend that if you book this tour, you confirm in advance that your group will actually be riding along the beach and not grouped with younger children, as this may significantly change your experience without prior notice. Overall, I was very disappointed and felt that the experience did not deliver what was promised.

Loved our adventure with palomino ranch and their sweet horses. The beach area seemed pretty…read moreprivate so it was nice and secluded with simple trails that the horses seemed familiar with. The guide, didn't catch her name :(, was so nice and friendly. She kept calm when one of the horses got spooked and that helped keep me calm. This was great for inexperienced riders, if I was more experienced I would probably think the ride was a bit boring but it was perfect for us and they do find time to take pictures of you which was nice.

The Southwest Ranches Farmer's Market is located in the same lot as Haute Coffee and Mr. Rotisserie…read morefood trucks. It gets very crowded on the weekend making parking a bit of a challenge. This family owned farmers market is in it's own small building. It was very interesting to me because this is the first place I found that sells raw milk. It is not something I personally drink but advocates claim that the pasteurization of milk destroys the nutrients, enzymes, and good bacteria. Benefits of raw milk may include more nutrients, improved digestion, and enhanced immune function. Others believe that the benefits are outweighed by health risks associated with consuming raw dairy products. The raw products sold here state they are not for human consumption. In addition to raw milk they also sell raw milk kefir, raw yogurt, raw cheese, raw butter, and raw milk ice cream. Other products they sell include organic produce grown in Southwest Ranches, local honey, hormone free and grass fed meat and seafood, farm fresh eggs, bath and beauty products, bread, and fresh made key lime pies. Staff was on hand to helpfully answer customers questions. I do believe that food is medicine and that it can heal you. This market subscribes to that philosophy. It is a niche for people who don't mind paying more to know where there food comes from, want clean ingredients, or are into a particular lifestyle choice. If you are looking for a large selection or inexpensive prices, this is probably not for you but I enjoyed my visit.

The only problem i have is for being a farmers market they don't really sell any produce, vegetables and fruits would be great when picking up our meats for the week. Staff and usual is sweet and very informative.

Part famers market, part petting zoo, part botanical garden!…read more This is a really cool place to experience, and you can make it a whole event! The farm store itself has an incredible variety of goods. They have natural eggs, raw milk, meat and seafood available for purchase. They also have natural bottled condiments and honey. On the weekend the petting zoo is open so that's really fun as well and you can spend some time exploring the grounds.

Came here for the pumpkin patch and had a terrible experience…read more We arrived at 4:30 on Sunday knowing they closed at 5. We said we would just go and see if they'll let us go in and take pictures quickly. I paid for a ticket to the pumpkin patch for $5 at 4:30 on the dot. The woman who charged me didn't mention anything about closing soon or a time limit. I continued to the pumpkin patch where I handed my ticket to a young girl who again did not say anything about closing soon/etc. There was actually a good amount of people in there when I arrived. My friend and I started taking pictures for about 10 minutes before the young girl told us she let us stay late and that we now had to leave. When we said they closed at 5, and it wasn't 5, she said they close at 4:30 and that she already let us stay late and she has to leave. We argued back saying we literally bought our tickets at 4:30 and gave them to her then and she never said anything. I get it if you're closed, but why not say something ahead of time and then rush us at the last minute. Really did not like that. Will not be returning.

We had breakfast--steak, eggs, hot Cuban toast with butter, and café con leche--and we were stuffed by the time we left. Absolutely delicious. There's also a small, kid-friendly playground further into the property that requires a fee to enter, but we didn't check it out this time--maybe next visit. Head over to By Brothers for breakfast. It's amazing!

Cute Setup, but Disappointing Experience…read more I came across By Brothers Farm through TikTok and decided to drive an hour and a half to visit. The overall setup was really cute and great for pictures, but unfortunately, the admission experience was disappointing. I purchased three tickets through Groupon for $62, including two with animal feed and one general admission. The tickets were valid Monday-Friday, and we visited Friday, October 23rd. Upon arrival, we were told Groupon was down and that we HAD to pay an additional $15 per ticket to enter, despite the employees successfully scanning our Groupon barcodes. We ended up paying $107 total, which is frustrating considering their official website advertises admission starting at $18 on Fridays and feed bags starting at $5 Based on those starting prices, our tickets and feed would have cost approximately $64, meaning we paid $43 more! The farm itself was cute, but the unexpected charges and lack of pricing transparency definitely took away from the experience. I recommend confirming all pricing before visiting, especially if purchasing through Groupon.
