Our family had just moved over 2000km to the island and we had "forgotten" the metaphorical glue that kept our brains together, our beds. This "accident" was not so much of a problem but an opportunity, but we were tired and beaten by the road... we were in no mood to go through the motions of being sold something that we've got a near collective 80 years of experience with. In and out, get the first bed that seems comfy was the plan. Thankfully we came across Roxy, as smooth as a merlot and welcome as that third shot of tequila, she helped us see the light and take the time to subjectively define the quality of a bed... Roxy not only educated us on the why of the what BUT saved us money... she even managed to make us smile the whole time. We'd decided to be miserable, she turned it around. Disappointed with the after sale, delivery service. My father was waiting for a refrigerator. He was told he would get a call Friday before the delivery, to confirm the Saturday delivery and they would confirm a time. He never received a phone call at all on Friday regarding the delivery, he also never had a call today, Saturday regarding the delivery. Lucky for us, he was home at the time that the delivery truck showed up. He had to rush to empty his current fridge, which he would've had done, had he known when the team was showing up!! The delivery team that brought the fridge in and removed the old one was great, no disrespect to them, but the lack of a call to set up the time and date for the delivery and just showing up without a call to confirm that someone was home is extremely disappointing and poor customer service. Please do better in the future!!!

I also find that even when I have a big heavy order like concrete bags, they still have a smile and good conversations while loading my truck. When it was returned, the red dye had bled into the white areas of the pattern and the previously white fringe had turned pink. I personally dropped the rug off and can confirm that it did not look like this when it was brought in for cleaning. What was almost as disappointing as the damage was how the situation was handled afterward. When my grandmother called to discuss what had happened, she was spoken over and yelled at, and was told the rug had arrived that way. It had not. He eventually agreed to have us bring the rug back so he could look at it. I returned it myself. At first, he claimed he couldn't see the problem. When I pointed out the discoloration, he became loud, defensive and argumentative, repeatedly insisting that the rug had already been like that. I explained that it wasn't my rug and that I was simply dropping it off on my grandmother's behalf, but that I had been the person who originally brought it in and knew what condition it had been in. Instead of simply addressing the concern, I was given a lengthy explanation about how many rugs he cleans and how highly regarded his work is. None of that changed the condition of my grandmother's rug. We left the rug with him to see if anything could be done. He later told my grandmother that it could not be corrected and agreed to refund the cleaning charge. When I returned to collect the rug, he handed me the refund cheque and then told me he would "advise my grandmother not to cash it," although he was giving it to me as an act of good faith. I found that comment incredibly inappropriate. Mistakes can happen in any business. What matters is how a company responds when they do. In this case, an expensive rug was returned damaged, the damage could not be corrected, and rather than being treated with courtesy and concern, both my grandmother and I were met with defensiveness and an unnecessarily aggressive attitude. A refund of the cleaning fee does not compensate for the damage to the rug, and the way the situation was handled made an already disappointing experience considerably worse. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.
