I ordered the $9 mozzarella sticks, and they were clearly microwaved. Literally the kind you'd get from a grocery store freezer aisle. Somehow they were both mushy and overcooked at the same time. The marinara wasn't great either, so I switched to ranch just to get through them. I'm glad I stopped at an appetizer and didn't commit to a full meal. Honestly, the vibe could work if the place leaned into what it actually is. If the food isn't going to be a focus, it might be better not to offer it at all. They had one waiter for the entire restaurant, a very nice young man who stopped by the minute we sat down to tell us his name and that he would be right with us. After 10 minutes he came by and took our drinks order (two Cokes) and we ordered pretzel bites as an appetizer. He did not take our entire order though, and said he would be right back with our drinks. 15 minutes later he was back with two waters; we told him we ordered Cokes and off he went again, returning in 10 minutes with Cokes. Our pretzel bites came out from a guy who looked like the manager, but we still had not placed our main order. We finished the pretzel bites (they were good) and decided that 40 minutes of waiting to place our order was a tad lengthy, so 5 minutes later when he finally made it over we asked for the check. He was very apologetic and ran off to get our check. 10 minutes later, he's back with the bill but drops it off and runs to another table. We waited and waited, planning to pay with our credit card, but after yet another 10 minutes and no sign of him, we left cash and got out of there. We may try these guys again on a non-game day, but I'm not totally convinced the service would be any better regardless. After 20 minutes or so of us arriving, the restaurant had cleared out quite a bit but it didn't help us get any closer to placing our order.
