Lately though we have been increasingly disappointed. In an apparent search for effeciency, customer service is slipping. Case in point, their new automated service notification system that supposedly provides you information on when to expect a technician to arrive. We have a service contract and a tech was supposed to come out to inspect the system to make sure all was working well. First, sometime today is not helpful. We have busy lives and other companies at least give you a reasonable window. Second, when we were finally provided an arrival time (between 12:30 and 1:30) and confirmed it, we waited for over 2 hours after that and never got an update or saw a technician. Texts to the automated system generated a form response that the tech was delayed...obvious and not helpful...maybe provide a revised ETA? Third, we finally called the office and canceled the appointment (it was about 4) and said we'd call back to reschedule. No apologies for the inconvenience...nothing. I am hesitant to reschedule and risk a replay of a wasted day due to questionable customer service. Last winter we had techs come out under the service contract to do the annual check up of the heating system. When we asked the technicians to show us the proper way to drain the boiler, they didn't know. Go back to a people run and focused approach. That was why we stuck with Davis so long in the first place.

Travis Bass was taking care of my small AC problem. It was just so refreshing to feel like you had somebody on your team! He did everything he could to get the problem solved quickly and efficiently! He had to come to my house multiple times to check on progress, and always showed up with a smile! I will be only using Browns from now on. I suggest you do the same!

We got several proposals and we chose Browns they installed the unit and it has worked great.We opted for a wifi thermostat so I can control the System from anywhere, very nice feature so you can adjust the temperature before you get home. You can set schedule if you like so it will automatically keep the house comfortable all year long. That source was 100% correct too. Great service at a very reasonable cost. These folks aren't in the business of taking advantage of people. My 10-year-old system was ripe for a rip-off by a disreputable company. Even though I had never had this A/C unit serviced for the entire 10 years of its life, the technician said it looked great. It didn't even need to have freon added. He said the capacitor was on the low end of good and showed it to me explaining why. I asked if it needed to be replaced right away and he said it should be able to go a while longer but that it was definitely going to need replacement in the near future. I went ahead and had him replace it. Bottom line. Great prices. Honest techs. Delivered as promised. Will use again.
