Jookin's comes with bakery treats, coffee, and even savory noms with a cozy coffee shop atmosphere great for anyone trying to take a break from the heat and looking for somewhere quiet.
When we went there was even a live band, but they weren't unbearably loud like I've typically experienced so kudos to that. I've often just left restaurants or coffee shops because the band was far too loud to even talk to the people next to you without yelling.
The back of the cafe is very comfortable too. They have a nice seating area with comfortable stools and chairs that make it very cozy and probably would make a great place to hang out, maybe do some work or relax.
For the menu-- they've got a lot covered. For the coffee drink fanatic or drinkable treats lover, they have Italian style sodas, frappucinos, lattes, and teas. They also have a bit of a savory menu inclusive of pizza and pasta.
We had ordered two pizzas, I believe they were the Jookin Specials, a large variety of frappe coffee drinks, latte, and a Shirley Temple.
The Shirley Temple was a vibrant red drink garnished with a cherry and small lemon wedge. Love the presentation and the tastes is very refreshing. It's a cherry flavored soda essentially and is non-alcoholic.
Also tried the Hazelnut and Almond Frappucinos. You can definitely taste the hazelnut and almond. Overall, I prefer the almond, but both are very similar.
While there wasn't anything terribly special to me about the pizza, it was very good, and I'd be happy to come get it again.
There were tons to try on the menu here too, especially their frappucino menu which offers coffee or vanilla based drinks to choose from. Next time, green tea! read more
