But if she has the disrespect to say that to me I can only imagine the disrespect she has for the patients or other postpartum mamas. Her "nurse" Shelly shouldn't even be administering shots- she came in with a paper of a baby outline on it and the dr wrote on this paper which leg each vaccination goes in... at this point this nurses was confused and asked me to confirm what she was reading on this paper... should have walked out then but I was so dumbfounded. I let this idiot administer the vaccinations to my baby. DONT GO HERE! She's beyond terrible with her bedside manor and her nurse looks like she's seen better days. They offer quality care, never make us feel rushed or stupid for asking questions, and the nursing staff are so caring, they do so much to make sure our little ones feel comfortable with each part of the visit. They always state their names when they room us, and now my children call them by their first names when they see them ! The front staff are equally as wonderful, always offering comforting words when I call and ask for help and support. We've had our 8 year old with Dr. Brinkman since he was a newborn so when we moved 40 minutes away I chose to make the drive and keep seeing him. Unfortunately, today his front desk staff and his decision to deny seeing my son because I had my 1.5 year old there with me destroyed the 8 year repertoire we had. We will no longer be going there and I will no longer have to tolerate the attitudes of the staff there. I took my 8 year old out of school and drove 40 minutes to be told they can't see him? I was supposed to pay a babysitter to watch my 1.5 year old while I take my older son to the pediatrician's office? I even asked the young lady if she was a mom and when she replied yes I asked her what I was supposed to do and even she shook her head and shrugged her shoulders. That's absolutely ridiculous! I also had my hands full walking in and did read the sign on the inside door stating that everyone needs masks I just needed to drop off my belongings and kids inside since we were already in the door and I needed a free hand and was then going to ask the young lady at the desk if they had any masks available as most doctors office do but she ignored me and said you need a mask and wouldn't acknowledge me until I ran back out to the car to grab a couple masks. After I was told they wouldn't see my son I told them I was switching doctors and needed his medical records I then asked when they'd be ready and she replied "I don't know" and shrugged her shoulders. Like I said this place and the girls that work there are absolutely ridiculous! My 1.5 year old is in early interventions and his speech therapist has told me that they have issues with that office not referring kids to their program so children that have delayed development issues don't get the proper care they need until they're in grade school and by then they're even more delayed. Please don't bring your children here unless you're okay with rude front desk staff/nurses and bare bones basic pediatric care. Our children deserve much more than what this office does.

Dr Spangenberg is thoughtful, caring, respectful and a very thorough doctor. I went to her after spending a few years with another doctor who never did tests or looked into my problems. Dr Spangenberg immediately sent me for an ultrasound and blood work and then when the results came in referred me to a specialist. My husband and I are convinced that she saved my life. The specialist wondered why I had waited so long to see him. I waited so long because my previous doctor never took the time to look into what was ailing me. I ended up with surgery and am happy to say am in very good health right now. I wish her new office was closer because I would definitely go to her. Another thing, her nurse and staff were a good reflection of Dr. Spangenberg.

I do not feel comfortable with 3 month blood tests along with the other excessive health testing just to be told repeatedly I need to lose weight. I have the feeling it's to bolster profit with unnecessary care. They are cycling through interns who do not fully know what they are doing and causing longer appointment times than necessary. I've actually had one who was questioning my medications and forgot to write their own name on the prescription leading me to wait for an important refill. While the front staff is nice. The higher ups need better bedside manners. The worst was hearing Loraine loudly discuss another patients condition. Then she proceeded to tell me she can only refer me to another facility, which didn't receive the referral at all and it was stated "we are always blamed" which should be a massive red flag. The facility referred didn't even take my insurance which is such a gross oversight. I've also heard "I never heard of that being a symptom" from another doctor which is not comforting whatsoever.
