I really, really wanted for Dr. Jones to be a good fit as my doctor, as I did like her as a person. It was apparent to me from the start that she is an intelligent, capable physician who has a lot of potential. However, she is scattered and disorganized to the point to where I became concerned that her carelessness could be harmful. During my first appointment, Dr. Jones asked me to write down a list of my current medications, and then asked that I highlight what needed to be refilled, and requested that I write down what medications I've had bad reactions to. I carefully listed each medication into the correct category, we discussed the list, and she agreed to refill what was under the "refill" section. When I got to the pharmacy to pick up the prescriptions, I saw that Dr. Jones had called in prescriptions for the medication that I'd had bad reactions to, and refilled medication that I did not need refilled; which of course my insurance didn't cover. She had mixed up the lists, and what is worse is that she insisted that it was the pharmacy's mistake. On another occasion, she wrote me a prescription for a specific ailment that I was suffering from, and when I came for my follow up appointment, she read from her notes that she had put me on a completely different medication for an ailment that I have never had in my life. When I explained that her information was incorrect, she insisted that I was mistaken and my memory was bad. Perhaps I caught Dr. Jones during a difficult time period as she had just moved offices, but good organization is important in medicine, and I hope that she has improved her practice. read more

Dr. Jones was my dr for 20 years. I started to hear complaints from coworkers that were leaving and finding other drs. I thought I was still in good hands, until I was admitted and was on my death bed!!! I had been complaining to her about pain in the area I knew of as Kidney area. Her clinical diagnosis was muscle strain. To learn all of my blood work was abnormal, severe uti, kidney shutting down, severe anemia, behind medication!!! while I was hospitalized she was calling my home leaving messages for me to take iron. FYI her address has changed. I am shopping around for a new doctor because I recently switched health plans. I have been to see her once and I liked her. She listens and is approachable. However, my hesitation with the service has to do with the front desk. I am coming from Kaiser and miss the good customer service. So far, I've gotten a few empty promises. I filled out paperwork so that I can communicate with Dr. Jones through email and see lab results. I was told I would receive an email invitation. It's been almost a month and I have not received that email. I had a follow up question for Dr. Jones so I called. I was told they would let her know my question and she would get back to me, that never happened. Last, I received a letter from my insurance letting me know their reimbursement was delayed because they sent the claim to the wrong address. read more

Dr. Jones IS THE BEST!!! I was no longer getting the treatment I deserved with my previous PCP in Berkeley, and I desperately needed to switch to a good new doctor who truly cares. I found Doctor Jones. I cannot remember what led me to her, I think my insurance recommended her. However so, I am very grateful. For one, she on the medical board! So she knows her stuff, and she does. She is the first and ONLY doctor who checked my low Vitamin D Levels, and come to find out they were really low. She really listens and jots down everything down on her little laptop. I don't know what that one patient in the other review is talking about regarding the HIV test, I didn't have to take one. Unless its a new thing. The taking of the pictures, I don't remember them doing that, but if they did. That's not a big deal. I am sure they have their legit reasons. Yeah, its a little pain to have to make an appointment to get prescription refills, but A LOT of doctors do that now! Anyway, Doctor Jones is the real deal. She gives the best referrals to the best specialists. She detected my Fibromyalgia, and sent me to a great rheumatologist to get it confirmed. She referred me to the best gastroenterologist to have me thoroughly checked out. I will recommend all my friends and family to see her as their PCP. In fact, my Granny now sees her. I have found a doctor that listens! I have been on a search to find a primary health physician since leaving the Kaiser system in 2009. This is the doctor for me. She is kind and interested in you as a patient and wants to help you. What a concept! If you are in need of a primary physician she is taking new patients. I am not sure where all the bad reviews came from - but I love having Dr. Jones as my doctor. I switched over to her when I was 19 years old and I have been a patient of hers ever since (I'm 23 now). She is a great doctor and really knowledgeable. She takes her time with you and answers any questions that you may have. She also isn't a doctor that will jump to diagnosis or giving your medications unless she is 100%. Her staff is awesome and also really nice. Making an appointment with her is fairly flexible and if she can't see you but have an urgent matter her staff will make sure to get your message to her and she will call you. She doesn't see patients on Wednesday which in an urgent matter, you are better going off to the emergency room. Her office is located across Doctors Hospital, which makes it easy to find. There is also plenty of parking which is always a good thing. She also speaks Spanish! (as well as her staff) read more

I do not recommend anyone to get treatment. I reported Dr. Jones, MD, to the medical board a few years ago to handle my health concerns. She violated my First Amendment rights, and I didn't even realize it at that moment during my visit while we were meeting due to my head trauma. She neglected her duty to assist me as my medical provider. The board of medical director's sent me a statement that they found nothing to support my claims. I realize these inexperienced MD Doctor's will get away with anything. Scary! I am ongoing treatment for PTSD for three years now. July of 2018, when I first mentioned, "I think I have PTSD," because I got into a car accident on the freeway and provided experience history as my evidence, but she did not acknowledge my expression. Instead, she exclaims," That I was too young to go through PTSD." She didn't even offer me any positive medical information either regarding my concerns. I was so confused for a long time. I fell into despair afterward and went mentally insane and depressed. I thought about killing myself three times. She failed me the first time when I pleaded for assistance due to my PTSD and injury's I sustained from a car accident as a medical advisor. She told me," I didn't have PTSD," and I believed her words because she is a doctor. I lost a lot of memories after my injuries, and depression increased. I am now slowly regaining my memories after seeking professional health care from my hometown in Sacramento, California. Please, people, always check a doctor's credentials. I have encountered many professional MD providers in the past, and MD Dr. Jones is one I will never trust with my health. read more

If you're looking for a cattle call impersonal doctor who seeks a hundred patients a day and doesn't know you personally, then you might not like this doctor. This is a small, casual office. However, that does not mean you have to compromise as far as professional, competent medical care. Dr. Jones was my doctor for 15 years before I moved from the Bay Area. I miss her as a doctor so very much and haven't been able to find anyone close to her as far as skill and expertise. She is not full of herself like a lot of doctors are and is very approachable and willing to answer any questions you have. Great for general primary care. I would recommend her to anyone. I see some comments on her front staff. Maybe things have changed there since I moved in 2012, but I was never billed incorrectly. Her medical assistant was great, very polite and personable, and he had been there for years. So not sure about the staff currently, but can say that while I was seeing this doctor, I didn't have any problems whatsoever. read more

I thought I found a great doctor when I went to visit with Dr.Jones, however I have come to find out that my preception of her is different now. Don't get me wrong, you can talk to her and tell her everything you need to about your problems and she will make note of them. I have a problem with her staff. Ryan, or the young guy with the curly hair and glasses is not very professional at all. He sort of sags in his scrubs which looks so tacky and the way he talks to people can be improved. Also when you go there as a new patient you are REQUIRED to have your photo taken and you MUST have a HIV test done. The HIV test thing was ok but I didnt like to have my photo taken. Another thing that I didnt care for about being a patient there was that if you needed a prescription refill you have to make an appt to be seen in order for you to get it. There is a large sign in the rooms that say you must get all of your medicine scripts while you are there otherwise you will have to pay for another visit. That sucks!! I wouldn't recommend this particular doctor if you are a person that has many medical needs. If you only need to see her every once in a while and don't need ongoing prescriptions and you don't mind having your photo taken and having a HIV test done in order to be her patient then I would recommend her. If you have a need for more medical attention then find another doctor. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Jones for the past 5 yrs or so. She is caring person, and practical at the same way. She is thorough and has a good sense of humor. I had a burn in my chest and arms and went through a very emotionally painful time. I also learnt that not much support is there through insurance or other ways to treat burns. Her front office staff was a mess, double billed me and my partner a couple of times, claiming they didn't have receipts (how the taxes got done without a receipt book is a wonder). Provided copies of the charge from our credit card TWICE - and still got sent to collection. Here's a hint Doc: the people out front represent you and your profession. these people are scammer. i called to make an appointment for a new patient physical. i received a bill a month later for $425.00 because dr. jones did not put the correct codes on the billing sheet. i then called the office for her to correct this issue with her staff which is rude, incompetent and have avery nonchalant attitude. when asked to change the code the so called office manager stated that she wouldn't. i then asked to speak to her he then proceed to tell me that she would not return my call. i don't recommend this office to anyone they also do not return calls i have been calling for over two weeks with other questions and still have not received a call back this has been one of the worst experiences in my life read more
