When Black Bear Paving gave Cane Creek Estates an estimate to repair and pave approximately 235…read morefeet of road in very bad shape, their bid was not only reasonable, but lower then all of the other estimates and they had the best plan on how to do the repairs that we received. The status of our main roadway had become urgent and we were very concerned for safety over the winter if we could not get the culvert and several potholes repaired. They committed to good preparation work and putting down three inches of asphalt. Other quotes were starting with half as much asphalt before being compacted . Black Bear Paving not only did the work they had agreed to, but also helped out several homeowners (at their own expense) to improve their driveways. Furthermore, they worked us into their busy schedule to get the road paved before wintery weather set in and made things worse. Our community has gone from one where people were afraid to drive on the road to one where it's a joy to travel now. The road looks great, is holding up well, and we could not be more happy with the work Black Bear Paving performed.
