We split the 3-meat platter with brisket, pulled pork, and sausage, plus tater tots and baked beans. The portion was more than enough for the two of us. The brisket was tender with a nice smoky flavor, the pulled pork was juicy, and the sausage had just the right snap and seasoning. Everything was delicious! The tater tots were perfectly crispy, and the meal came with a soft brioche bun and pickle slices, which were the perfect finishing touch. The only thing I'd rate a little differently were the beans. They had a slightly burnt flavor to me, but my husband absolutely loved them, so your mileage may vary! The restaurant has a casual, no-frills atmosphere with just a handful of indoor tables, but the friendly service, generous portions, and reasonable prices make it an easy place to recommend. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town! Great barbecue, great value, and a satisfying meal from start to finish.

The girl who took my order and made my sandwich was pleasant and quick. I took my food and found a nearby tree and sat under it watching the boats and sea planes pass by. It smelled great, the bbq pork. The bun was fresh and the pulled pork was perfectly placed in the bun, as opposed to being sloppily made. It was easy to lift it up with your hands and take a clean bite. It was freshly cooked, tender, and sweet. Had that smoky smell. Sometimes you will never know what you will find around a street corner. It's one of those inconspicuous finds that you never expect. Highly recommended. There's no parking by the way. We raced there to make sure we weren't going to miss them (they closed at 4pm on this day) and as soon as we got in the door we looked around and pretty much ordered a little but of everything. The salamis and cured meats are spectacular, the selection is out of this world, the head cheeses are tasty, and the liverwurst and mortadella blew my mind. We had the meat sweats for days because we took everything back to our hotel, wrapped it in baguettes and cheese and just ate forever. It was pretty ridiculous but we couldn't have it any other way. Customs wouldn't let us take it back across the border, and we couldn't wait long enough anyway. Best money I've spent in Victoria, hands down. Do not miss this store if you're looking to host a party, have a great dinner, or impress someone with with a locally made meat-gift!
