Dr. Silverman has done wonders for me over 15+ years that I've been a patient. It's so easy to schedule appointments around my busy schedule, pay with a multitude of options and payment plans for larger expenses, and work with the staff to ensure I take proper care of my teeth. The prices here are pretty good, but they aren't the cheapest prices in town...then again you don't want to settle for cheap when it comes to your teeth, so the costs are totally worth it. I cannot thank Dr. Silverman and his staff enough. I initially went to see him to establish a relationship with a dentist after having moved to Baltimore County. I knew it had been a long time since I'd been to a dentist, and was afraid there were "problems." Problems there were. I had a lot of old broken fillings, and some cracked teeth (I have since quit chewing ice). Dr. Silverman did a wonderful job of creating on-lays that look like perfect teeth, and I have no more cracked teeth. Additionally, although I had braces when I was in junior high school, my teeth had moved back to their former locations, and were quite crooked. My bite was way off, and I was having frequent headaches, which I had believed were the result of neck injuries and tension. I went ahead with Invisalign, and am about finished. My teeth are gorgeous, and my bite is perfect. Interestingly, my headaches are also gone. This is an excellent result. You will not be sorry for visiting Dr. Silverman's office. Oh, yes! NO PAIN WITH DRILLING!!! (A major plus in my reckoning.) read more

Dr. Jonathan E Silverman is an excellent dentist. He has been my primary dentist since the age of 10. He put a cap on my tooth back in 2006 and it is still there. He and his staff are very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. There have been a few mix arounds with billing in the past, but it was corrected. Dr. Silverman is the one that also set me up with Invisalign to help correct my overbites to the best state without surgery. So, I came in for a consultation today to go over a treatment plan for an implant, gum cleaning and teeth whitening. I was in a devastating car accident 6 years ago in which a steering wheel caused me to knock out multiple teeth in the front of my mouth and had to have crowns placed over them. For 6 years I've dealt with the imperfections and the abscesses and irritation. Tired of the pain and irritation I sought out this particular dentist based on people's experiences. I can honestly say I have never walked into a dentists office that was so welcoming. I made my appointment with sherry and hands down she was one of the friendliest people I have ever had the pleasure of encountering in a medical office. She sat down in the waiting room with me and got to know me when I was filling out my paperwork and insurance information. She was very accommodating and even sat with me during my meeting with the doctor after my exam. She went over the treatment plan and payment options I had available for work that I needed done. During my exam the tech was very friendly and quick. He clearly was very educated in the dental field and was able to spot that one of my crowns had been fixed by a different dentist! When he asked me if they were all completed by the same dentist I was shocked. Mainly because that showed me he had an eye for perfection and could spot differences within the quality of my previous work. The Dr. Was very thorough and honest! I walked in thinking my mouth was just not fixable and if it was it was going to cost thousands upon thousands of dollars to fix. That wasn't the case! He triaged me on a matter of what needed to be done with what I was able to afford. With that he set me up with a very affordable plan that would give me the smile I so desperately missed since my car accident. I have been very anxious and worried about my teeth for quite some time and the doctor put my worries to ease! He was very personable and made some jokes to ease my worries while sitting in his chair. After leaving I called back to discuss the plan a little further and sherry gave me 35 min of her time just to make sure I understood everything that was going to happen and the phases of the dental implant. Having this work done is very stressful and considering my work is being done on teeth that are my smile, directly in the front! I have had all sorts of mixed feelings but I can truly say after going into the office I would not let anyone else put their hands in my mouth. I feel with 110% confidence they are doing my dental work to help me and I couldn't thank them enough. So this is my review thus far and when the work is finished in 6 months I will review again with before and after pictures to show the work I have had completed! I am very excited to embark on this journey with Dr. Silverman and I am so thankful he is able to help me! read more

This place put way too much pressure on you to get expensive work. While talking about getting a cavity filled and the pricing for this procedure I explained to Mr. Silverman that I couldn't afford to just pay him $1100.00 and I didn't wanna go through a financing company. Mr. Silverman explained that insurance would knock about $400.00 off the price I'll just have to pay the $1100.00 and my insurance will send me a check for $400.00 in about 60 to 90 days which sounded a little sketchy because every other place I deal with the insurance pays that place directly. This made me feel like they really didn't take my insurance and just wanted to get money out of me that day... they even tried to charge me $105.00 for a cleaning that is free under my insurance. Office clean, staff polite, work all get an A. However, I recommend a 2nd opinion before you sign anything. Especially if an expensive dental plan is offered. I got a 2nd opinion and 1/2 of the work ($8-10 Thousdand dollars) did not have to be done in any hurry. In fact it can be dealt with on an as needed bases. Since, I am on a fixed income, I don not like being sold a bill of goods that will be hard for me to pay for. They will offer "Care credit" as a solution. I do not like Care credit. I used it once for a Vet bill. They are sharks in the water who will find a way to drop your 0% for a year in the blink of an eye. The Dr. is friendly BUT if offered a expensive plan GET A 2ND OPINION. There is the appearance of they care about you first. They don't they care about supporting the practice FIRST. However the assistant (Sp) Shareese was very rude and nasty because I told her I chose to get a second opinion for dental work that I was told I needed and found out I didn't. I have always been VERY nervous going to a dentist, so after many years of much sugar X-rays came back MANY cavity's. I am in my 40's now and my old nervous feelings came back. Dr. Silverman explained to me that things have changed over the years and I went through with it, today was my final filling. Dr. Silverman is AMAZING, from the start if I felt at all nervous he would stop what he was doing and explain everything. This dentist and his staff personnel will "PRESSURE" and "RUSH" you into making a decision about a very expensive dental bill plan and before you know it you've been signed up for a credit card that you weren't even really aware of, and you may have just come in for a routine preventive cleaning and minor work...all about how much money he can get out of you "FAST". Staff is friendly but that's about it...definitely wouldn't recommend this anxious overbearing dentist to anyone, get a second opinion first. Not a good experience!!! read more

Let me start by saying that I'm the biggest baby and scared to death of the word DENTIST! Since I was a little girl I've always had teeth that easily got cavities although I brush and floss. As an adult those cavities have turned into root canals, or bridges. My dentist of 30 yrs passed away 2 yrs ago and I was faced with finding another dentist. Although I'd been going to my dentist for over 30 yrs and had a great relationship with him, I always experienced pain during services. The past month I've experienced my face swelling where I have a bridge and immediately I became crazy knowing I had to find a new dentist. For over 3 wks I searched the internet to find a good fit for my dental anxiety needs and I came across Dr. Silverman, I chose him due to reading his reviews and seeing he had sedation options...called his office on Monday April 29th and they gave me an appointment for the afternoon. Wow, that was a first good impression for a new patient. But that was just the first, the staff was awesome when I arrived and Dr. Silverman's assistant was wonderful. Feeling embarrassed about my mouth and all the work that I've had and still need to get my smile where I want it to be, Dr. Silverman was very assuring and uplifting that it wasn't as bad as I felt. He was great! I had no PAIN, not even from the novocaine needles and I had to get three times. I've had 4 root canals in my life and everyone was the worse ever from the beginning to the end! Dr. Silverman told me he has a no pain rule and he wasn't lying! For the first time in my life I had dental work done and NO PAIN!
