I had no insurance at the time, but they were accommodating by setting me up on a payment that was within my monthly budget. - Most importantly they played more of a key role than I think they even realize in helping me create and live out a better life. Something very good emerges from within you when you don't feel embarrassed about the way your mouth looks. You feel free to talk with people, even up close. You can give a loved one a kiss and not hope they're not thinking how disgusting your mouth looks. - Maybe those insecurities were only my own, but I doubt it. Mandeep is extremely thorough as a dental hygienist while trying to be as gentle as possible (which I appreciate as a patient with super sensitive nerves) and Dr Johnny is as consistent as ever with his excellent care, patience, and dedication to not upcharging for unnecessary work. He'll always provide all the options & details and is happy to answer as many questions as it takes for his patients to feel comfortable and well cared for before committing to any procedures or costs. Dr. Zhao was very accommodating in scheduling my appointment which is important to me since I have a baby to take care of. I had not seen a dentist for a long time, so when she found several more cavities during the detailed check up I was not surprised. But instead of scheduling me for followup visits Dr. Zhao was able to do the entire work efficiently in one visit. But all that was to no avail, because my teeth had been discolored at a young age due to the medications that I took. I thought about having the veneers, but was discouraged when the dentist told me that most of the enamel of my teeth had to be removed in order for the veneers to fit in. Why would I do such harmful things to my teeth? To remove the good parts of it permanently? When my insurance changed last year, I had to look for a new dentist and I came to Dr. Wong without any referrals - that's a bravery of mine. To my surprise, he was such a young doctor but also very professional and knowledgeable; most importantly having a heart for his trade. His skillful hands are just beyond their youthful look. With his wise suggestions, I was able to have the veneers installed with very minimal damage to my teeth. I was addressed immediately and was given clear explanations of what we were doing today. My insurance is giving me a hard time with switching physicians and instead of turning me away, Dr. Bhandari proactively took my x-rays, examined my mouth, and gave me a cleaning. She was very clear, methodical, and gentle in everything she did. She even tried calling my insurance to take care of the issue for me, but of course, it takes a miracle to get ahold of insurance companies.
