There were unique pieces I haven't seen at other places. There were so many cute kids hats, purses, and soft shoes. There was also a good selection of wider toe box shoes that are great for toddlers. There are also adult clothes in the back but the selection is smaller and less interesting. They have brands like Mini Boden and Mini Melissa (brands you'd see at Nordstroms). The bad: The prices are pretty high. There were joggers and shoes for kids around $75. The interesting: I see a lot of reviews about people who don't like the owner lady following them around. I noticed this at another Korean fashion store I've been to too (where the owner will come to the spot you were just at to tidy anything you touched or slightly displaced). It is discouraging to browse things when you're not greeted or when you're being watched. I had two toddlers with me (the target audience) and you'd think that people would say hi to the kids or ask if we needed help looking for anything but we didn't get any of that.

The value for the clothes is also super reasonable as you're getting lower priced deals than you would usually get some of the clothes for.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other parents should know about our experience…read more We took our daughter to Ultimate Dance Fashion Store to buy her first pair of ballet shoes. While trying them on, we told the employee (who appeared to be the owner or manager) that we thought she needed the next size up. Our daughter also wasn't completely sure about the fit. However, we were assured that the smaller size was the correct fit and were encouraged not to size up. Since this is a specialty dance store, we trusted her professional recommendation. Unfortunately, after wearing the shoes for her very first ballet class, my daughter's feet were hurting badly. We called the store hoping they could help us find a solution. Instead of showing any understanding, we were met with a rude attitude and were told, "You should have gotten a bigger size." That was especially frustrating because we originally wanted the bigger size and were talked out of it by the person helping us. I understand that stores have return policies, especially on worn dance shoes. This review isn't about expecting a free return--it's about the lack of customer service and accountability after we relied on the store's professional advice. We simply hoped they would work with us in some way, whether through an exchange, store credit, or another reasonable solution. Instead, we felt dismissed and blamed. I hope this review encourages the business to treat future customers with more respect and to stand behind the recommendations they give.

Honestly, I was fully expecting to arrive to a full Nordstrom department store but as I was getting closer and closer, I realized that couldn't be the case. Alas, Norstrorm Local - a storefront where you can pick up and return Nordstrom orders as well as get alterations. As long as you know going into it that this is what it is - it's fantastic and super convenient. My lower-than-normal three star rating stems from the less than friendly staff. Sure, I was absolutely grateful they accepted my return but wish the customer service was a little bit better, especially because I had already started the return and had a barcode for the employee to scan (they were not interested). Oh well. I'm sure I'll find myself here again in the future, hopefully next time the employees will join me in having a smile on their faces.
