It was my first time using Vagaro so didn't really understand the scheduling but the salon crew helped me out. I like the comfy seating area, reading material, pitcher of refreshing water, uplifting music. I went in for microblading treatment with Karolin. Karolin provided the best microblading experience for me!! She's quite talented and skillful at her many crafts! It didn't take long and the sensation felt like a scratching of the brow area - not as painful as I thought! The numbing cream helped plus the aftercare kit with the application stick proved most helpful with the recovery. I'm looking forward to getting a fill-in after a few weeks the next time I visit Florida. I'm so amazed how the brows make me feel like a new person, Karolin's measurements really help frame one's facial structure.

My 3C/4A curls were healthy and fully back to their natural texture after months of rehab from a hair Botox treatment I got done late last year. I went to Julissa's Blow Dry Bar in late July after a recommendation and good reviews. Huge mistake. First, the salon charges separately for things that should be included -- no roller sets unless booked separately, and you pay for a haircut and blowout as two different services. My bill for a haircut, deep treatment, blowout, and tip? $130. Pricey, but I could've lived with that. What I can't live with is the chemically altered hair I now have. A week later, I washed my hair and smelled chemicals immediately. After towel drying, my curls were gone -- limp, stringy, and clearly chemically altered. This is not heat damage. I know the difference. Months of work restoring my curls, now done the drain. My hair was destroyed in one visit. Now I have to wear my hair straight for months while I try to rehab it. If you care about your hair's health and integrity, DO NOT go here. I trusted them and paid the price. Julia and this salon should be ashamed.

Demi was super nice and also took the time to show me how to properly put on basic make-up (eye liner I had been doing wrong for YEARS). She was super sweet, as was Margita, the owner. When I decided I wanted K-tip extensions, I knew they were the best option for my hair texture and length, but I was dreading the idea of sitting for 8+ hours. Nina came up with a hybrid installation plan using K-tips where they were needed most, along with tape-ins and wefts in other areas. It gave me the look I wanted while cutting down the installation time. I also really appreciated that she worked with my budget. She showed me different hair options without any pressure and helped me choose one that fit what I was comfortable spending. The hair actually arrived sooner than expected, and she got me scheduled right away. Her private suite is another huge plus. Instead of the chaos of a busy salon, it's a calm, relaxing environment. She even puts on movies, and always has snacks and drinks available, which makes the appointment much more enjoyable. Most importantly, Nina is incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating. She genuinely wants you to love your hair, works with you instead of trying to upsell you, and never makes you feel pressured to buy products or spend more than you're comfortable with. I couldn't be happier with both my color and my extensions, and I highly recommend her!
