Jollibee is a staple, and this location is a great one. Ample seats and tables and customer service is top notch.

I can safely say this is currently my favorite place to go when I want to eat burgers. First, cause…read morefor me it's cheaper and not overly priced and it is not pretentious unlike some other burger joints (ex. Army Navy). I stumbled upon this gem just a year ago. It can be a bit crowded because of the limited space but it usually isn't. When it is crowded, I just have them to go. I usually get the classic burger and it just never fails to satisfy my tastebuds. Their bread changed this year but I think it's for the better. It just adds texture. They have that distinctive taste like when you eat it, you'll know it's from BBB. Tried their blue cheese, it was also good. I just really like their burger, I dnt know why. Between them and Zark's, I'd choose this one. Many love Zark's but I just think it is more unhealthy than BBB. I love how attentive and full of initiative their service is. Also the servers are very courteous and they all look so friendly. One time, I asked not to put onions on my burger and they assured me there's no onion itself but also informed me that their was some of it in the mayo which was fine with me. Love their service! Their place is a bit small but it has the feeling of intimacy with the politeness of the servers. They really make sure you're comfortable. It feels like home. They offer a lot of burger choices (I especially think Hahalapeño is a crafty name) on both 1/3 lb and 1/4 lb. You can add Php40 to make it a value meal which includes fries and a drink. They also have rice and pasta dishes with the burger meat. So I hope this helps, you should try this one! I loveeee it!

The flavor, the juiciness, the texture, the quality, even the lingering after taste is just remarkable. I've tried their nearby competitor but the quality of this competitor's meat is cheap and gritty; but, it is filling. Quantity or quality?? You decide! I've been to many burger places here in the US where we live; but, if you want quality burgers, if you like premium, I would say BIG BB is the place to go. It's so good that on our last visit to the PI, we stopped by the Star Mall BigBB store to buy 2 Triple Xs to eat at the airport for the two hour wait before boarding our plane back to SFO. Yummm! BTW, their courteous service is another great reason we dine there too. But it can get crowded because their store has limited seating. So, at times, we order delivery during the dinner hours. At any rate, you can't go wrong. Wish they had a store here in the US. Better than In-N-Out or Red Robin's. Oh Man, biting that triple burger and the moist juice dripping down my mouth .... OMG!

Trust me, it is LIGHTYEARS better than settling for the usual frozen meat pucks or worse, "mystery meat patties". Not that's there's nothing wrong with the occasional Burger Machine visit. My personal fave is the "Beef Bomb" with the chuck and short rib cuts blend. I think it gives the burger a great beef flavor and good bite. I also usually get an order of onion rings. I suggest you ask them to leave off the BBQ powder they season them with. In my opinion, it kind of gives them an odd sweet flavor that you don't really need with the onions already present. Just a little tip. Also, their salted caramel shake is a definite winner. Take it from me, 8 Cuts doesn't disappoint. Pros -Complete customization. From burger blend choice, to the type of bun, all the way to in-house made sauces; you can pimp out your burger any way your heart desires. -Good classic burger fare and all its partners such as onion rings, waffle fries, shakes, etc. Cons -None that I can think of.

What I do know is that the burgers here in 8 Street? Amazeballs. I mean seriously, my eyes rolled right back into my skull at first bite. You get what you pay for, of course. It's a bit more pricey than most burger joints, especially their sides. Their skinny fries is 55 pesos, with nothing on it. Add anything to it, like bacon or cheese or whatever, and it jumps to 135 pesos. Worth it, though. Oh so worth it.

And I must say that when I came across the instagram account of this place, I really wanted to just drop everything, go here and eat. Their signature menu items were presented in a very appealing and appetizing manner. When I finally got the chance to try the place out, there was a noticeable lack of manpower during that time but I still appreciated the effort to deliver the best service that they can. I ordered BIB (Breakfast in Bed) - a burger with a breakfast sausage patty, bacon, egg, cheese, onions and tomatoes. Since I'm a fan of breakfast meals, I suspected that I can't go wrong with this but to my disappointment, it was not served warm as I expected it to be. But in spite of that, I can still recognize the taste pushing through. With that being said, I'm definitely willing to go back and give this place a second chance I think it deserves.

I felt like a puppy waiting for my master at the window when I was waiting for Size Matters to open in my former neighborhood. When it finally opened, I went that same week. Considering they were still on dry run, service was notably good. Because size does matter, they have sizing options for most of the items on their menu. I decided to try their The Works Burger, which ironically comes only in one size. When it arrived, I realized why - it was huge and I knew I've have a difficult time finishing it. It had bacon, cheese, caramelized onions, mushrooms and blue cheese, aside from the beef patty. It was really good, except there were a few bits of tendon in the patty. A man near the counter saw me spit it out into my napkin and he approached me to ask what it was. Turns out that he was the owner and he apologized for it. I told him it's totally fine, as it's unavoidable and that it happens even in the best steakhouses. He was still apologizing and assured that he will take it up with his meat supplier. That was what got me - the willingness to claim criticism (wait, I didn't even criticize) and eagerness to improve. Aside from the jumbo-sized food, the taste, the jumbo condiments and drinks, it's good to know that at Size Matters, quality matters.

Meals were overpriced (meals cost more than Jollibee's, which is just across it). What made this experience an unforgettable one are their chairs that made me very uncomfortable. When they opened this branch, we were pleasantly surprised that the look and feel is the same as their Tagaytay branch -- same orange and yellow theme with the general old Philippine diner look. I love it! But more importantly, it's such a great relief to know that their food quality is just as good as the one in Tagaytay. Whether you're getting the Mushroom Burger or the sandwiches, you will be getting your money's worth. The burgers are pretty big and are filling. If you're a heavy eater, try the King version. While not as popular as the actual Mushroom Burger, their noodle selection is just as good and should really be tasted. Try their lomi -- this hot and steamy bowl is great as a late-night snack. They also have pansit by the bilao, cheaper than you'd find in other restaurants yet very good. I love that there's so much mushrooms on top. A great potluck dish to bring to gatherings.
