I had them do work at my house great work great price.My mother had a company come out to her house when I was out of town.They charged her 824.00 for 2 springs a remote and 2 pullies. She was still having problems so she decided to call Jolicoeur . Mike from Jolicoeur arrived right on time and had the door working in no time.The price was very reasonable.I showed him the bill from the other company he couldn't believe it. My garage doors broke. Long story short, my fault. I scheduled an appointment with Jolicoeur to either fix or replace. 2 gentleman came in, inspected my doors in the dead of winter and then went about fixing and reinforcing both doors. Totally expected an upsell, instead they did the work, quick and efficient and went to the next garage door challenge to conquer. While I wish our garage door springs would last longer than they do, every time they need to be replaced the team from Jolicoeur is there for us with friendly and prompt service. We also had some damage to our garage door once (I won't share that embarrassing story), but Jolicoeur repaired the door to like-new condition saving me the cost of replacing the entire door. The cost was fairly priced and lower than other quotes we received. They even went so far as to honor the written estimate which was $50 less than the actual bill due to a math error. Just had Jolicoeur come for a tune-up the technicians were very nice and arrived in the time given. The first technician pointed out one of the motors (20 years) old should probably be replaced. He was not pushy about it just pointed out the weakness and suggested I think about it. I made a second appointment to have it replaced and the second technician who installed it took the time to even program my car to open both doors! Will use them again if the need arises. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I've bought 2 large jack shaft commercial garage doors from Jolicoeur Door in the past 5 years. I moved to a different garage in the same complex so bought another, with a Liftmaster opener. I also referred another in my complex to them who bought 2 doors. The doors are large, the one I have now is insulated which makes it even heavier. I use the garage daily, especially in the winter as I own a small heating oil company to store supplies, tools and a $200,000 oil truck. Recently the cables came off the wheels, got tangled and the garage was stuck 1/2 open. I needed to get my truck out as it's mid December and I'm really busy so I tried to free up the door. Before I knew what I was doing I had released the jackshaft spring and the door shut. After an hour of not being able to move the door; that's when I called the emergency phone number for Jolicoeur on the door. It was before 11am. I explained my situation to the guy who answered the phone and he told me right away that they couldn't get to me that day but he would have someone call me back. I did get a call right back and after given instructions on how to reset the jack shaft spring, I was essentially told I was screwed and that I'd be lucky to get out of the garage by 3pm, and he couldn't help me. Fast forward 2 hours to 1pm; I was able to get someone else from my complex to help me raise the door with large pipes; so now it's propped open, with everything inside exposed to the weather and potential thieves. I called the office back and pleaded for a service call. They once again said they couldn't get to me until Monday and they provided no emergency service. I was told the owner had left for the day along with another employee and they had a guy on his way to RI for a service call and what were they supposed to do? He seemed more concerned I was looking for a warranty repair than really understanding my situation; he was becoming belligerent at this pointless. His only advice was to have me look for someone else to come out. After 2 nights of full exposure and hours worth of work, I was able to fix the door myself, determined to never give this crappy company one more dollar of my money. They are great at taking your money to install doors, and absolutely completely horrible on any service, especially if they deem it inconvenient or them. Avoid these clowns at all cost. read more
