DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP I called back in October to cancel my membership because I was going to be moving, I was extremely sick at the time and I was told by a woman over the phone that she would make an exception due to my situation and allow me to cancel over the phone. Fast forward to the month of January I noticed I was still being charged so I called to have the charges corrected on their end. This location could do nothing for me so I was instructed to call corporate. Well, it's been over a week now and the only person who has reached out to me is a man named Brian who happens to be the area manager for the inland empire. Brian refuses to give me his boss' information and refuses to refund me the money I was wrongfully charged. All he keeps telling me is that his staff followed protocol which is a complete lie. I understand this is a busy location and perhaps the person I originally spoke to in October forgot to cancel my membership and document the conversation, but I am a mom and I have a life. I would never drag an issue on but this is completely unfair to me not to mention unprofessional on their end. I was a loyal customer and the fact that I've called corporate numerous times but I am only contacted by Brian is super sketchy to me, also the fact that he politely refuses to give me his boss' information to resolve my issue really just aggravates me to the core. There is no way to contact anyone else and at this point I'm truly considering contacting an attorney. It's not even about the money anymore, it's about this company doing what's right when it's not my fault whoever I originally spoke to made a royal f$&k up No one here does their job, I really urge people to reconsider prior to signing up with The Joint. It's truly hard to give this place one star because prior to this I had a good experience. I always saw Dr. T because i really enjoyed having him as a doctor. He truly knew how to adjust my body and he was great at keeping the convo going while tending to my chiropractic needs. Maybe this is ok for people with mild back issues. I walk with a cane and have severe back pain and nerve impingement. Right away Dr.Tulles used the drop table and I literally started crying. She doesn't explain anything and her bedside manner is terrible. I gave her 2 chances and she was just as bad the second time and my pain got worse both times I saw her. I tried Dr.Garati (spelling?) and she was very nice but I got no relief. I went to a private Chiro and it was life changing. He actually diagnosed my problem and did a CORRECT alignment. So I went about a month ago to this facility and saw a chiro unfortunately I didn't have the best experience. I came In with a huge headache i understand that no one can make miracles i worked for a chiro for over 7 years and i completely understand the process . Sadly my chiro I worked for is retired and unable to see no longer . Came in had a regular consult then tried adjusting me right away without any form of muscle relaxation or stimulation to calm it down. I was disappointed in that aspect because I know that muscle relaxation and stimulation helps and able to adjust better unfortunately all it caused my neck to stiffen up and nausea . Not horrible chiros but I will definitely not come back I will make sure next time I really take time to look a chiro up and see qualifications . It wasn't for me but maybe good for others . Walked in today to try this place out. Before I even explained my situation, the front desk lady with the red hair said they don't do first-time customers, so instead, they gave me the documents I need to fill-out. Once i finished, I gave it back to them assuming that they'd register my name somehow in their system. But no, they told me to come back the next day and bring the filled out forms with me. Okay? So what's the difference between that? They mentioned they don't do any first time walk ins, yet you want me to come back tomorrow and do the same exact thing? I am beyond frustrated with this company. After a horrific experience back on 1/31/2014 of an inappropriate male chiropractor but after 2 years and 20+ emails later I have begged them to remove me from their mailing list. Back in June 16th, 2014 I sent them an email letting them know that I have requested 10 times to have my email removed. They have not done that and I continue to get their emails. The fact that I had such a horrible experience there, nothing was resolved about it, and now I continue to be spammed by them when I informed them that I do not live in the state. Is this how you treat customers? By constantly nagging them? No matter if I email The Joint or if I click the unsubscribe button I CONTINUE to get notifications from them. Can you please care about your customers and business because this should not be tolerated. Thank you! 1st Witnessed an overweight lady fall from the narrow table your suppose to lay on. While the Chiropractor laughed silently at her. 2nd I injured my back at work. While I had paid for a packet for X numbers of treatment. That they constantly push on u. Well do to the back injury I couldn't continue treatment with them. And they maid it very difficult to get a refund. Had to get doctors notes and an explanation from my doctor why I couldn't continue. read more

They sign you up for these plans that give you "X" number of visits, no problem, fine ... but to cancel out of the plan, you have to return to the original office that you originally attended and sign a paper stating that you no longer wish to be billed. was charged this morning and called right when they opened at 10am, was told they will not refund once you are charged, because that's "policy" according to the receptionist and that she might be able to stop next month's payment if I come in and sign the form today, because they require 30 days notice on cancellations ... all of which was never mentioned when they are selling you these plans. read more

I am now back in Rancho Cucamonga since July and signed up for the Joint again. I've been getting my once a week adjustments for my neck, back, shoulders, elbows and wrists. Dr. Bobby Smith is one of the best Chiropractor that I have the privilege of being adjusted by. Looking forward to my weekly adjustments. Make sure to call and ask if regular Doctors are available. Most of the substitute Chiropractors are not good based on my experience. I got injured by them twice including today's session. I need to go back tomorrow for the regular Doctor to get another adjustment and hopefully fix today's injury. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about the joint. I have been going to chiropractors on and off for years. I have seen countless chiropractors in my chronically ill life. Unfortunately my last experience with a chiropractor earlier this year had made me never want to see one again. I had thrown my back out over Christmas and was in excruciating pain. I went to "Dr. Fix it" AKA Dr. Rafael Rios and I was leaving there in tears each time. I was also being ridiculously overcharged at $65 bucks a visit and that was a "discounted rate". When I didn't get better he got upset and we ended treatment. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago and I have been experiencing a pinched nerve in my neck causing pain to radiate down my arm and fingers. A friend recommended the joint and I immediately said I don't trust chiropractors anymore. Well after the pain got unbearable I decided to try it because of the incredibly reasonable price. I walked in and I immediately liked the sleek office and the staff was so pleasant. I saw Dr. Tolbirt and explained my fears from my last experience and told him I didn't want him to adjust my back. But he was so kind and caring and GENTLE that I agreed to let him touch my back and OMG I am a believer again! I felt the way people are supposed to feel when they leave the chiropractor. BETTER! I have been going there 2-3 times a week thanks to the affordable membership. I have also seen Dr. Smith and I like him too but Dr. Tolbirt is the absolute best and most well rounded chiropractor I have ever seen. My only complaint is that he is not there 5 days a week! At first I loved the simplicity of the store. They don't take appointments walk ins only, perfect! But today I was very upset. I walked in with only one person ahead of me, checked in and was told it would be 10 minutes. Three people walked in after me and all got called back before me! 15 minutes later and I still had not been called back. So I had to leave since I had a doctors appointment I had to drive to. Needless to say I was VERY disappointed. I was told the dr. Opened my file but never called me back and the front desk person was puzzled! Compelled to write a review. Couple weeks ago, my back was in so much pain I could barely walk. After the first visit, I walked out with very little pain. After a couple more visits, I'm pain free and now just go for maintenance. It's a great tension reliever as well. The convenience of just walking in with no appointment & extremely reasonable prices. Pay per visit or get a package. Dr. Lopez is cool. Friendly but, let's me get in & out as I'm always in a rush! Needless to say, I highly recommend Dr. Lopez & The Joint! read more

They were so courteous here, willing to take the time to listen to my needs, the adjustment was on par, and they made sure I was happy before I left. I returned to this location after setting up the monthly plan elsewhere. The gal at the front desk was very friendly but the doctor was a whole other category. He was very short and not real friendly. The adjustment was intense and he was very hard handed. Way more rough than I like and I actually broke into tears the minute I walked out. He actually hurt me more than he helped me. I am definitely a fan of the company in general and have adjusted my review a bit but I will not be back to this location. read more

If we could give them a zero we would. Came into their place at 3:30- they close at 5 pm. There was only 3 people in the lobby- we were turned away because they said they would be exceeding their time for their business hours today. The chiropractor on duty was more concerned on selling than adjusting, patients. The girl working the front desk was missing for about 15 minutes at our arrival as well. Here's a thought maybe you should staff much better on a Sunday, if they truly are that busy. We will not be back or recommend this place to anyone. read more

Once the doctor determined I wouldn't be picking up a multi-visit contract, he told me I was wasting my time and dismissed me, untreated and still in pain. I have had substantial, long-term relief from one treatment before, but apparently that didn't suit him. I went through a lot of discomfort to get here, all for nothing.
