    $19 Adjustment Coupon
    Sonizzle J.

I'd advise anyone against signing up for the monthly plan since it's a use-it-or-lose-it scenario, so I just paid per visit instead. I've gone there a few times sporadically for treatment and explained to the chiropractor who questioned my absence that I got injured, and EDD took a long time to give me a disability payment. Further, I told him that chiropractor visits and the cost of living aren't cheap, so if I don't get paid, they don't get paid, and I must prioritize my rent, food, and other living expenses first. Additionally, the dude working at the front desk really didn't help with his poor customer skills when he refused to honor my next chiropractic adjustment for $19. He proceeded to rudely interrupt me by telling me that no such coupon exists and that it was only for new customers. I already told him I was aware of that $29 new patient special and that I was a returning patient seeking my $19 deal. Then, he interrupted me again by telling me it was only for military veterans before I finally managed to pull it up on my device and show him. He still told me that no such coupon existed even after showing him, so I just left, and I won't be returning at all.

The email showing dates. So disappointing. If you could do nothing just say so.

I did love this place and would have given them five stars. But their customer service is horrible they have been charging me for a year without my knowledge. The last time we spoke they said they would put my account on hold until I could get back to them. No they charged my card without asking or a phone call. When I asked I was to email Damon. Who responded 8 days later saying he would help. But did not. It is now over a month. It sucks when corporations show how little they care.

Instead, the first visit was a thermal scan (Rolling Thermal Summary Graph) and a sales process. No hands-on assessment of my actual complaint. Before the chiropractor would even see me, they required $180 in x-rays (quoted initially at $300+, then immediately "discounted"). They also don't do any soft tissue work. For a straightforward SI joint issue with a known mechanism and no red flags, I didn't need x-rays--I needed someone to put hands on me and assess the joint. This felt more like a sales funnel than a healthcare visit. This was all done by a case manager. Never even saw the doctor. If you're looking for a chiropractor who will actually evaluate and treat you on the first visit, this may not be the place. If you're okay with a multi-visit treatment package and imaging requirements before any hands-on care, it might work for you. Additionally, the thermal scan they use (paraspinal thermography) lacks peer-reviewed evidence supporting its diagnostic validity. Skin temperature varies based on room temperature, activity level, hydration, and stress--not just spinal issues. The AMA does not recognize it as a valid diagnostic tool, and most insurance companies won't reimburse for it due to lack of clinical validity. The "severity score" is generated by proprietary software with no standardized, validated scoring system. Many evidence-based chiropractors consider these scans a marketing tool rather than a legitimate clinical assessment.

My grandfather practiced Chinese medicine. I remember as a young child seeing him do acupuncture on himself (it freaked us out lol) and giving us these Chinese herbs and soups to drink. I didn't think much of it in my teens and twenties. When I hit my thirties, I realized its benefits and started seeing my high school friend for acupuncture on a regular basis. It can be used to help with chronic pain, headaches, migraines, arthritis, insomnia, infertility and reducing anxiety. Her studio is far and I ultimately stopped going. I was also experiencing stiff necks and constant knots in my shoulder blades and found a local chiropractor that I saw but also stopped going since the pain subsided with home self care. Over the past decade, I try to maintain myself and have things I do to relieve stress. Lifting weights, walking the trails on a regular basis, stress relieving activities (reading, gardening, coloring, etc.) I've been happy to report those things have worked but now reaching my mid-40s, I need extra assistance. Fun times when I realized my left shoulder couldn't extend back all the way anymore and experiencing more shoulder pains and migraines. After filling out an online form, I showed up to my appointment. The office is hidden from the street but after you park, walk under the arches and you'll see their building with signage. I was taken to my room within minutes. Dr Jennifer Tsai was thorough in asking me questions and explaining everything. I also saw two massage therapists for my neck and shoulder pains. She came up with a plan for me afterwards. I definitely plan on coming back.

She went last night and had her first appointment with Jeremiah. She has chronic pain due to depression, anxiety, and a variety of other health concerns. Jeremiah set the tone by asking what her goals were for her massage, and allowing her to completely feel whatever she needed to feel while he worked on her pain through out her body. She spoke highly of the facility, the staff, and the care that was taken on her visit. I want to thank the staff and Jeremiah for having my daughter in such good hands and care. The trust this establishment cultivated with her was enough for me to know they care. Truly care. Hi, Mr. Larry. Since this interaction with you, the business owner, is by extension an experience…read moreI'm having with Kneads Work, I believe it's appropriate to add this updated review: Mr. Larry, I'm going to respond directly to several points because your reply contains contradictions and mischaracterizes what I actually wrote. First, your comment implying that because I fell asleep my recollection is somehow unreliable is both dismissive and contradictory. You state my falling asleep makes it "difficult to determine how much you actually remember," then say you "won't argue that point" after doing just that. It was a nap, Sir, not a coma. Falling asleep during portions of a two-hour massage does not somehow prevent me from accurately assessing the overall pressure, how little time was spent on the areas I specifically requested, or how my body felt when I left. Those are the central issues I raised. Second, you acknowledged that Chris "had been struggling" with pressure calibration during training. That directly validates the primary criticism in my review rather than undermines it. Third, your repeated emphasis that I answered "yes" when asked if things were okay ignores the context I already explained. Yes, I acknowledged I could have been more explicit when Chris asked whether things felt "ok." I took accountability for that. But "ok" is an inherently vague check-in. So given how vaguely that was phrased, I interpreted it as a comfort check, not a technical question about treatment depth. A therapist working with someone who explicitly disclosed thoracic outlet issues should communicate with much greater specificity if pressure depth is being calibrated. You and your past therapists were quite capable of understanding this, Sir. Fourth, I did not indict your entire business. I explicitly referenced positive past experiences and explained that those experiences are exactly why this visit was disappointing. That's honest context, not an attack. Fifth, my pricing criticism was never about transparency. I knew the listed cost. My point was that the service delivered did not justify that cost based on what was requested and what was actually provided. Posted pricing does not exempt a business from value-based criticism. Yes, including how your prices haven't changed for some time, Sir. Asking why I tipped is also not the strong point you seem to think it is. Many people tip out of courtesy, awkwardness, or because disappointment is processed more clearly after leaving. A tip is not automatic evidence of satisfaction. Not sure how questioning me doing a nice thing was worth you pointing it out. Perhaps you can explain the logic behind this. Your suggestion that I should have complained privately instead of posting a public review misunderstands the purpose of public reviews. They exist for clients to honestly document their experiences, positive or negative. Since I'm a paying customer, not your employee, going to yelp to share my experience shouldn't be frowned upon by you. For added context to what I told Chris, when he asked me "how I felt," I specifically said without any abrasive or rude tone, "I don't think you're a bad person at all, I just didn't get the massage I asked for, so I intend to leave a review." As advice, it's actually you that could've reached out (you have my entire contact information) or left a message saying you'd like to rectify this matter and get better understanding of the experience after my review. I never cared for a free massage. Instead, I was more than willing to change my review after you demonstrated any good faith attempt in rectifying this matter. I assumed a business owner as successful as yourself understood how to navigate this sort of issue. Which leads me to my next point. Most concerning was your decision to publicly mention staffing consequences involving Chris. Whether that was meant as explanation or implication, internal personnel decisions are yours alone and should not be framed in a way that attempts to place that burden on a client for leaving honest feedback. Hope you absorb that advice. My original review was detailed, measured, and even acknowledged where I could have communicated more clearly during the session, while expressly avoiding personal attacks. That is accountability on my part. Thank you for illuminating me to the thought process you harbor when confronting unfavorable reviews like mine. It might've been to much to expect a simple acknowledgment that the session missed the mark and that communication broke down on both sides. Instead, much of your response focused on deflecting responsibility, questioning my credibility, and reframing legitimate criticism as "destructive." I stand by my review because it accurately reflects the experience. Hope this removes some of the things that were "difficult to determine." You have my contact if you care to continue this, Sir. Either way, thank you.

-- Life-Changing Adjustment!…read more Y'all, let me tell you about my transformation at this chiropractor's office. I was already struggling, in pain, flying all the way from NYC to Cali like a pretzel that had been left out in the sun too long. My back was giving me "I'm done with you" energy. But THEN--I found this place, and let me just say, it changed everything. From the moment I walked in, they were swift, professional, and most importantly, they knew exactly what they were doing. None of that "let's just poke around and see what happens" stuff. My chiropractor got right to the point, like they could sense the exact vertebrae that had betrayed me. I went from hunched over like the Hunchback of Notre Dame to feeling like I was floating on air--okay, maybe not floating, but y'all know what I mean! After one visit, I was standing tall, walking around like I'd been dipped in liquid gold. My back? At ease. My stress? Gone. My spirit? Rejuvenated. I felt like a million bucks! I don't know what magic hands this chiropractor has, but they need to be insured for a billion dollars, because wow. Long story short, if you're in pain, hunched over, or feeling like your spine forgot how to be a spine, run--don't walk--to this place. You won't regret it.
