I rarely leave negative reviews, but after almost a year, I still feel people should know about my experience. I came to Structural Foundation Chiropractic because I had mild lower back pain--about a 3/10 pain. My previous chiropractor had retired, and I was simply looking for a new provider to perform an adjustment. Their advertised $39 new-patient special and convenient location made me decide to give them a try. From the moment I walked in, the experience felt very different from what I was used to. I was greeted by a man who I believed was a doctor, but I'm not sure. I was initially shown to another room then to change into scrubs. Eventually I met with Dr. Emily Bautista. After explaining that I had lower back pain, I was told I needed spinal X-rays shortly after. I wasn't expecting that. I suddenly was being quoted over $100 for X-rays. When I hesitated the staff member who initially greeted me came in and handled the financial discussion. He immediately began lowering the price and continued negotiating until I finally agreed. I didn't feel like I would even be helped by the doctor if I didn't get the x rays done. That alone made me feel uncomfortable and I never needed X-rays to be adjusted before. After the X-rays were taken i received an adjustment but was told I would need to come back to go over the results of my X-Rays. Surprisingly, very little attention was given to the lower back, the reason I came in. Instead, most of the adjustment focused on my neck and shoulders. Before leaving I wasn't really satisfied at all about my time there because the pain I was feeling wasn't targeted. I was already scheduled to return the next day to review my X-rays so I just had hoped things would be better on the next visit. The second visit is where my concerns really escalated. Again, I was greeted by the same guy and brought to another room to watch a video promoting the Gonstead method, which I never heard of. When I was called in to see Dr. Bautista I was told my X-rays showed multiple concerning findings and was warned about future health problems if I didn't commit to their treatment plan. At one point, dark spots visible on my X-rays were described as potentially cancerous, and I was encouraged to pay to have my X-rays sent over to another specialist that they recommended. I declined. The conversation with the Doctor then shifted into a recommendation for months of chiropractic care with multiple visits each month. My comments about working from home and pain when carrying my newborn daughter suddenly became part of a narrative of my future testimonial after long-term treatment. What started as mild lower back discomfort had somehow become a lengthy recovery plan. When I explained that I wasn't interested in committing or signing up for months of appointments and simply wanted treatment for the issue I originally came in for, the guy who works up front, who had apparently been listening from outside the room, opened the door, interrupted the appointment and sent the doctor out of the room to take over the conversation. I once again found myself being encouraged to get on a treatment plan and going over payment. Eventually, I insisted on receiving the adjustment I originally came in for and declined signing up for anything long term. They were both visually upset with my decision. The whole thing felt uncomfortable. When it was time to pay, I was quoted a higher price than what had been discussed previously. After I pointed out the discrepancy, the guy eventually apologized repeatedly, and even began recommending other chiropractors. The most disappointing part wasn't the money, but the whole thing felt uneasy. I understand they use a different method than my previous chiropractor, but respectfully the whole thing felt like a cash grab. I felt like they were only concerned with locking me in for multiple visits month after month. They also don't accept insurance so everything is out of pocket. The day after my adjustment, my lower back pain became dramatically worse. What had been a manageable 3/10 pain increased to roughly an 7/10. I struggled to sleep for weeks afterwards. Nearly a year later, my back is still worse than it was before I ever walked through their doors. Everyone's experience may be different, but mine left me feeling like I had walked into a high-pressured sales presentation instead of a healthcare office. There was far more emphasis on videos, treatment plans, recurring appointments, and additional services than on addressing the relatively minor issue that brought me there. I can't recommend Structural Foundation Chiropractic based on my experience. I went in looking for a simple adjustment for mild back pain. I left over $200 poorer, feeling pressured into services I hadn't planned on, and with back pain that ultimately became far worse than when I arrived. read more

I had such a great experience with Dr. Luu. He is kind, patient, and takes the time to listen and understand what is going on instead of rushing through the appointment. He explains everything in a simple way and makes each visit feel comfortable and personal. I also appreciate how much attention he gives to the little details. I always feel well taken care of, and the office has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I'm grateful for the care I received from Dr. Luu and would gladly recommend Structural Foundation Chiropractic to friends and family. read more

I called 4 offices this past week lookin for a chiropractor that treats migraines and nerve pain shooting down to my toes. I did not want to do surgery and i did not want to take anymore medications. I spoke with the front desk on the phone about my concerns and he assured me that everything will be okay. They gave me a free consult and exam first visit. Then doctor Bautista actually listened to me. I spoke for like 30 minutes sorry doctor. Then she took full spine x-rays and went over all my exam results same day. Even adjusted me same day! I am about 80 percent better same day and I can't wait to come back next monday. I wished i called them sooner. If you want a place that actually listens to you and give you answers. My lower back was HURTING from lots of sitting, and also dancing through the pain! I knew I had to take action when the pain was affecting my sleep. If at all possible, I avoid taking pain medication, which jumpstarted my search for an alternative solution. I was on the lookout for a chiropractor, when I stumbled upon a Facebook ad for Structural Foundation Chiropractic. I made an appointment to get my spine situation evaluated and was elated that Dr. Bautista performed such a thorough assessment! She took the time to ask pertinent health questions, to visually inspect my posture, and to take x-rays. She displayed my x-rays on a big screen, explained the results, and created a plan to treat the pain. I started feeling relief after the first adjustment! I'm about 5 visits in and my back feels SO MUCH BETTER! Although I don't see Dr. Luu for chiropractic care, he is always a positive presence in the office! Both doctors are professional and friendly...made me feel like I had known them for a long time even though we just met. I highly recommend Structural Foundation Chiropractic! read more

Great office! super friendly and cool. I came in with back pain, migraines, my right foot froze and stuck could not move, right face pain, and poor mid back movement. I think i fell from my truck the other day but the doctor found with the new xrays that it could have been done years ago. I am a truck driver and grateful that i found a office so close to home. They practice the gonstead system, first time i heard of it. if you have problems like me, i recommend you check them out! you wont regret it!! read more

Structural Foundation provides great service! They are very knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about their craft.

Attention to detail is hard to find nowadays. A staff that cares and listens is even harder to find. A recurring injury from sports many years ago had proven difficult for me to pinpoint, but after my consultation I got an adjustment that same day. Most importantly, I got valuable information on how to maintain it long term. read more

I had a really great experience at Family Chiropractic Clinic. I came in after dealing with ongoing pain and honestly feeling frustrated because nothing else had really helped long-term. From the first visit, I could tell this place was different. They took the time to really evaluate what was going on instead of just jumping into treatment. What stood out to me most is their use of the Gonstead system. It's a much more precise and detailed approach compared to what I've experienced before. They actually analyze your spine carefully and only adjust what truly needs to be adjusted. It made me feel a lot more confident in the treatment, and I noticed the difference pretty quickly. The care feels very intentional and personalized--not rushed or cookie-cutter. Over time, I started seeing real improvement in my pain, mobility, and overall comfort in daily life. The doctors are knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely care about their patients, and the staff is friendly and organized, which makes everything run smoothly. If you're looking for a chiropractic clinic that takes a more precise, results-driven approach and doesn't just go through the motions, I would definitely recommend this place. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! so thorough and helpful! so glad we found this place. Dr Bautista is the best!!

I recently visited this clinic for a free consultation and had a very positive experience with Dr. Bautista. She was kind, respectful, and very informative. I appreciated how thoroughly she explained my hip and knee misalignment, and it was extremely helpful to review my x-rays and visually understand what was causing my discomfort. The staff overall were professional and welcoming. However, there were a few things I wish had been communicated more clearly upfront. Although the consultation was free, I wasn't told ahead of time that no alignment or treatment could be done without first paying for x-rays. The x-rays and initial alignment were $250, which I paid, but after the alignment I didn't feel any relief, in fact my knee felt more irritated. I returned for a follow-up, not realizing there would be an additional $95 fee for reviewing the x-rays and receiving another alignment. I paid it with no issue, but it would have helped to know this beforehand. The part that made me uncomfortable was the sales pitch for a 20-visit treatment plan. The prices and discounts were written quickly on scratch paper and I was told the discount only applied if I purchased the package immediately. They also offered financing options like CareCredit and Affirm. While I understand many clinics use structured "roadmaps," it felt high-pressure, and I didn't fully understand how the exact number of sessions was determined, especially since everyone heals differently. Overall, I thought Dr. Bautista herself was wonderful, very knowledgeable, and professional. My only concern was the lack of price transparency and the pressure to commit to a large prepaid package before knowing how my body would respond to treatment. I hope this feedback is helpful for both future patients and the clinic. read more
