Range 14 used to be a great place to shoot skeet and trap. Appointments and only one skeet field. I guess they are trying to shut it down.

Range 14 used to be a great place to shoot. It was my go to. Sign up and shoot same day. Easy to do. Not the same feel since covid.

Mike in the office was very helpful explaining the operation and helping me sign up for membership.

Great place to shoot but someone needs to tell the kid (RSO) stop with the disrespectful behavior to customers/shooters, you have no clue who your speaking to kid respect goes both ways if you want it you better give it. I understand the safety issue but there is no reason for this kids behavior so many people complain about him but yet nothing is done. If you can deal with his attitude price is right range is clean tables are new or well maintained would give the place a 5 but attitude is everything. read more

Not a big fan. You pay for an hour to shoot. By the time your setup plus when someone's hour is up you have to seize fire and do the hokie pokie and unload your gun. You are lucky if you get 20 minutes of shooting in. read more

Excellent out door range. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff / RSO's. Price couldn't be more affordable! Best of all you can shoot up to 200yrds. Not going to find that in any indoor range... least not around here. Targets can be purchased for $3. Nothing fancy, but great to staple you're splatter targets to. Hint Hint.. lol If you don't have you're own target stand. Highly recommend bringing a post hole digger or shovel. They provide one but still rec. bringing something to dig hole to secure you're target. You can bring your own steel plate to shoot at 200yrds. RSO has to approve first. Long list of what you can and cant shoot at on web site. Will be spending a lot of time here this year. read more

Went here so my wife and kids could take their NJ Hunters Ed Course. I already have a license so I just went along to check out the facility since we are looking for a place to shoot. It was doomed from the start. We were standing next to the main building waiting for the class to start and the range master began hollering over the loudspeaker telling people where they can and can't park and not to stand in the parking area in front of the building. I understand they have rules but the range wasn't even open and this guy was being nasty. I just thought it was me but even the guys running the course were complaining about him. So the class starts and I go to Wawa to get a coffee and come back to look into signing up my family for a membership here. Im sitting in my car watching how the place runs. People back into a lane and set up their weapons. The range master calls a cease fire for 5 minutes so you can set up your targets and clean up or whatever. Right off the bat I thought the range master was nasty. I appreciate safety, don't get me wrong. This isn't tittliwings. But there lacked a level of professionalism that I expected. Someone didn't have their target high enough off the ground and he was belittling the guy telling him he's cutting into everyone's shooting time. It was hard to watch. I turned around to watch the archery field instead. So far, not impressed. The archery area is also quite nice. I had my crossbow in the car and considered trying out the facility. They have targets set up at 20, 40, 60, and 80 yards. While I was watching people on the archery field I could still hear the range master. He kept at it. At one point there was a shouting match between him and one of the shooters. It was so bad the people came off the archery field to see what was happening. The range master was yelling at someone to put out a green flag, i guess to indicate they were ready and the guy was yelling back that he had the green flag out. It was ridiculous. That settled it for me. Its an absolute disgrace the way the range master treated people. And they pay for this! They pay to be yelled at and belittled by this guy. And it couldn't be more if a shame. This facility is absolutely magnificent. Set back in the woods with shooting range, archery range, skeet shooting, paintball, I think you can even arrange to hunt and fish here. Its and outdoor eutopia!!! But I'm not driving 45 minutes and paying to be belittled and mistreated by an unprofessional range master at a range open 3 or 4 days a week. Perhaps it would behoove them to have an additional guy on the ground to address certain situations to minimize the unprofessional attitude of the range master. Great place to spend a few hours with friends!! Make sure to bring your own ammo because they don't sell any. They do sell targets at a reasonable price they also have skeet and trap shooting at a good price. They also sell cold drinks and snacks inside. read more

The range is great for the price of $60/per year membership and $4 per hour each visit. 200 yard rifle range (I believe) and 50 yard pistol range. There are also skeet shooting stations available. This place should meet all of your shooting needs. They also sell nice cardboard targets on a wooden post with different silhouettes for a reasonable $4. Here is the "BIG BUT" about this place and that is the customer service. If it was non existent I would give this place 5 stars. However they actually go out of there way to be rude and can be best described as unwelcoming. I don't come to any range looking for amazing customer service. The office workers give you visible attitudes when trying to purchase anything. I knew it was gonna be bad when I walked in the office and the workers just stared at me with distaste. No "hello" no "how can I help you". They would have just remained completely silent if I didn't say "who do I talk to for membership?" God forbid you ask a question. I asked how much a splatter target was and the reaction of the worker was as if, I was an interruption to his day. read more

Been going here for a number of years now. Experiences varied from ok to worse. Lately, range master in the tower is completely hostile and staff less than accommodating. I have been getting my daughter into shooting and we have been a few times. She loves it and was very enthusiastic until our recent visit. I asked to be placed down the end of the rifle range so we could have some space. Counter guy said it would be to far for the range officer to walk....? He put us next to someone sporting a large caliber rifle with a muzzle break. Loud report scared my daughter and I had to leave. Remember, when the liberals retract our 2nd amendment rights, you only have yourself to blame. You are doing nothing to promote new membership and not encouraging youth to be apart of the firearms culture. I will not be come back and will discourage anyone I know from going. You might as well just go ahead and vote for Hillary... read more

Best place where I have ever been shooting. Become a member (it is a must) and you can bring your friends for free. Prices are by the case for shotgun / skeet and by the hour for pistol / rifle. It is clean and well organized. They should be opening more stalls soon. read more

I have been a member here for over 9 years and I still love shooting here. They are mostly great guys and gals with few exceptions. They are the only range in central NJ with a reasonable membership price. I would however be happy to pay double the membership pice of the hours and days expanded. read more

I have been a member off and on for 26 years. You can't beat the price and the facilities are nice. I have to admit some of the staff are the most unfriendly people I have met. The guy walking the rifle range seems to always have issues. I haven't gone there once when he didn't have an attitude. And then there is the guy I guess who is in-charge of the skeet/trap ranges. First I will say I made a mistake parking in an area I wasn't supposed to, BUT there also was no sign saying not to. I have a fused spine and parked in an area that appeared made to park in. This was my first time trying to shoot trap. We shot for an hour, I didn't hit a thing, and were packing up. Next thing I know this guy with a beard in a white pickup pulled behind me and starts about parking on HIS range. I thought they were owned by the US government.? I very nicely said I was very sorry and would move my vehicle immediately. I thought it was strange that he drove past my vehicle repeatedly during that hour and only stopped when we were packing up. Apparently that wasn't enough on my part. He continued about parking where an ambulance would park in an emergency. I again said I was sorry, and he kept on and on and on.Now keep in mind there was no sign saying NO PARKING. I made a simple mistake and didn't argue with this guy. One thing about the trap ranges. After this incident we tried several times to get a trap range and never found one open. I tried skeet and missed everything. LOL One of the people at the counter said they only had one working and no idea when the others would be fixed. You cannot reserve one either. As far as the fellow who asked to be placed away from the other shooters. I did that once and was told very nicely that they don't do that so the range guy doesn't have to walk. That was no problem. For the most part the people are nice. read more
