The candle making process is quick, but could take a while to decide which scents, colors, and logos you want. Keep in mind, the candles will take about an hour to set enough before you can take them home. We went before lunch, and ate in the area, then easily came back to pick up our lovely creations!

The great thing about this place is you not only get the cool items but also the fun experience of learning how to make them. The staff took all of the worries out of it as they helped us throughout the process so we would have a good result. I have several gift ideas lined up and there's just something incredibly satisfying about being able to present a gift and say "I made this!". There's a lot of customization options too, so you can use your own names, phrases, etc. when you plan to make some of the items that have painted, stenciled artwork on them. I'm looking forward to making a little party out of this on our next visit, and apparently we can bring our own wine and beer. This place has a cheerful atmosphere with soothing colors and everything we need was already prepared for us. No stress involved, and no clean up as well. I found this place behind The Cotton Patch on Preston Road in Frisco. It's in the little courtyard there between Cotton Patch and Genghis Grill. Plenty of parking.

We called after the suggested time after not hearing anything and were given a vague message saying it would be done soon and that the manager was out of town so things were backed up. Then, 6 weeks later we were told it was ready to be picked up. However once I arrived only 1 of the 3 painted pieces were there. I told the girl behind the counter that we were missing and she checked but couldn't locate them. I asked for the managers number and was denied and told to email... very disappointing experience that wasted time and money.

Getting there; it's still in the Willow Bend mall; easiest way to find it is to enter through the main doors between Knife Steakhouse and the Mexican Bar Company and go straight. Super cute set up; they offer painting classes they even have a shop set up. The girls who greeted us were kind. They sent our host over to us to explain everything. He was a sweet boy but wasn't the greatest host personality wise and was a tad unclear with explaining what was going to happen especially with it being our first time. We were left in the tiny splatter room twice with just no direction. Overall we had a decent experience. Wasn't a whole lot to it.

We arrived, picked the designs we liked, and started right away. They give you a few tips, but you're pretty much on your own. We were advised it would take approx 2 hrs, but it took us closer to 3 hrs. You should plan a little extra time. Oh and you can buy a cup of Turkish coffee and they also give you a cup of pomegranate tea. I tried both and loved it! Once you're done painting, you can bake your plates in your oven for about 30 minutes and they're ready! They also have Turkish lamp making class and it looks also fun. I'd like to go back and try the class too.

We all booked online and were able to pick which lamp we wanted to design. I chose the swan lamp. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and once checked in we got situated at a table with a few other guests. I am in love with the space. First off, it's in a business area, and on a Sunday, there was no one else around. My GPS had difficulty finding the exact spot but once I had the suite number it was easy to find. When we walked in you could see how bright and airy this space is. Before the start of class, we had time to chit chat and walk around to get ideas for our lamps. Our teacher (I think her name was Oun?) was super sweet and walked us through each step. The first step is laying out your design. We were served Turkish coffee and a Turkish treat, (for an extra charge) during this step. During the step where we glue on the tiles we were served the pomegranate tea that came with the price of the class. At the end of our 2+ hours we were given instructions on how to make the cement to seal all the mosaic tiles in and once I do that, I will post photos of my finished product. We all had a blast and would 100000% recommend coming here to get artsy.
