We moved her to a digital art class from a cartooning class because they started doing cartooning using the sun through the window standing up. I'm no expert, but I don't think that's how it's done. Everything was going fine in the digital art class until I got a call on Sunday from the director saying they were ending the class. I said no problem I'd just come in on Monday and figure it out, she said great. So I get in there with my daughter to potentially select a new class. The person I talked to wasn't there, and whoever I did talk to didn't know anything about the class cancellation and just acted confused. Once she made it clear that she had no intention of figuring out what was going on, I just told her to freeze the account and really just for lack of a better option. My daughter is very upset. UPDATE: 11/21/2022 Things just got worse over time. They increased the price twice, the second time without mentioning anything, they just charge the card without asking. Furthermore it's written into their policy that you're agreeing to an extra month of paying them beyond when you attempt to leave. This organization is the worst kind. Private lessons would have a similar cost to this racket.

They were so wonderful and on top of things. This was by far the least stressful party I've ever planned. Alycia the owner was in communication about everything. Miss Megann was in charge the day of the party and she was so wonderful with all the kiddos. They all made slime and had a blast! Megann was so WONDERFUL. The party was absolutely effortless. We showed up with Cupcakes, drinks, and goodie bags. Everything else was handled by A Joyful Mess from plates, napkins, plastic wear, supplies, decorations, cleanup, etc. Thank you so much for a perfect party. We will definitely be back!

It is suggested to bring clothes that you don't mind if paint gets on them. Also, some paint techniques require you to use your fingers to flick paint onto the canvas. I loved relaxing here with co-workers in the evening, not to mention that view of the McKinney water tower from the patio at night cannot be beat. I highly recommend coming to see the unique artwork. My favorite piece was a large, canvas painting of "Woodstock '69," so as soon as I saw it, I had to take home the original before there were only prints available. The art is so affordable and better yet, when you purchase one you become an "artster," which comes with membership benefits. I can't wait for the next live music show and I am hoping to attend a paint party soon. I may even try to book this event space for my toddler's birthday party!

I've been to a couple different painting studios and I've always had an enjoyable time and…read moreexperience. My first impression of the building and studio was that it was a bit outdated and the inside of the studio looked older and less clean compared to many of the other studios I've visited. My girlfriend and I arrived about ten minutes earlier in hopes to get settled in and find a picture to paint. I was a bit disappointed to find that the studio was closed when we arrived. The instructor arrived about 5 minutes late for the start of class so it felt rushed getting the paints and everything set up for class. The canvases that were given to us were thin so I won't be able to hang this up unless I get it framed. This class gives you the freedom to choose what you want to paint opposed to everyone working on the same painting and the instructor goes step-by-step to guide you through the painting. As I am not a very artistic person, I found it to be a bit daunting having to paint the entire painting myself without specific guidance and step-by-step instructions. The instructor was funny and kept us entertained throughout the class. My friend and I still had an enjoyable girls night out but I really wish the studio was cleaner and the canvases were thicker and of better quality.
