What she found was so much more than that. She found coaches who believed in her, pushed her, and cared for her as a whole person--not just an athlete. Her mental and physical well-being were always a priority, and that kind of care is rare. Because of this environment, she accomplished something we once thought was out of reach--qualifying for Westerns. That moment alone speaks volumes about what this gym and its coaches are capable of. Coach Ryan and Coach Elizabeth--thank you for pouring into her, for guiding her, and for being such a steady, positive force in her journey. And Nicole, thank you for being the heart of the gym--always greeting her with a smile, especially on the hard days when she needed it most. This wasn't just a gym for us--it became home. As my daughter moves on to her next chapter in college, we do so with full hearts and endless gratitude. And the best part? We're not leaving--our two other team gymnasts are proud to continue being part of this amazing family. If I could give a million stars, it still wouldn't be enough.

I have one word for Coach Ashley and her gymnastics class -- "Wow!"…read more This is the first sports class I've been able to get my very cautious 4 year old son to try and the experience has exceeded my expectations. He and his more outgoing 3 year old sister can't get enough of this class. And make no mistake, this is not playtime at the zoo. This is the real deal. I knew Miss Ashley was serious about teaching gymnastics when the first exercise she started the group on was the rings. That was a jaw dropping moment for me. And the kids actually do it! I totally underestimated my own kids' abilities. Coach Ashley does a great job introducing proper gymnastics and proper form (tucked rolls, spider walks, hand stands, cartwheels) but does it in a way and with kid friendly verbiage that makes it fun for the kids. She has a lot of colorful and playful looking equipment that is appealing to children and the intimate sized group allows her to spend individualized attention on each child. You know you've found a winner when the kids ask every morning, "is today a gymnastics day?" So glad we found you, Coach Ashley!

My daughter has been going here for about a month and she loves it so far! Two friends recommended…read morewe come here to check it out and I'm happy we did Booking her first free trial class over the phone was really easy. Once we got there, she seemed to fit right in and the teacher (Marcy) was very helpful at taking time with her to get her caught up Classes in her age range (3-5 year olds I think) are a little less than an hour long. She seems to genuinely have a good time while learning basic gymnastics routines, coordination, listening, and patience. The facility itself is super clean and nice. They are doing renovations so I'm sure it'll be even more nice when it's complete. Good monthly pricing for the amount of class time and teacher to student ratios

We ultimately decided to cancel our membership because of the poor customer service…read more We needed to adjust our class times, so I spoke with both a front desk employee and one of the coaches. I was told the change had been approved, so we made the drive from quite a distance to attend. When we arrived, instead of acknowledging the confusion, the staff talked over me and argued that the coaches and front desk employees don't have the authority to make those decisions. That may be true internally, but as a customer, I relied on the information your staff provided. A simple apology for the misinformation and for the inconvenience of driving all that way would have gone a long way. Instead, the interaction felt defensive rather than customer-focused. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds to them is what leaves a lasting impression. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability and poor customer service led us to cancel our membership.

This gym was a disappointment. My review is only to make sure everyone knows the older reviews are…read morespot on when it comes to the "classes" offered for young children. Someone mentioned that they should stop offering these, and I agree. I took my 4.5yr old for a trial and I can't say what they do during their classes because in order to see them, you have to literally press your face against the building to see from outside. My coworker took her daughter for a trial class before mine and her experience was not a positive but completely different than mine. Her husband at least got to walk her their daughter back to the area where the kids would be. Whereas I had to just shove mine through the door while they were shouting "red room!" There is no rollcall, they never even asked my daughters name so it's amazing. They knew who she was or why we were even there.

As a resident of Oceanside, I'm generally reluctant to speak negatively about local businesses,…read moreunderstanding the economic pressures they face. However, I'm concerned about the safety and cleanliness at this establishment. The visibility of the young children group is compromised (parents forced to awkwardly peek in from the outside tinted windows), which is unnerving for any parent (see other unfortunate reviews here and on Google). Given the awkward layout of an industrial park floor plan, they have CCTV footage but it's awful. With simple outreach(I work in IT), this is a solved problem... Additionally, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired, with a noticeable odor reminiscent of dirty feet, which we have not experienced in our new gym. I truly hope improvements can be made because I would love to see this business succeed and thrive.

But regardless, we all had a fun time with our baby and the other parents! The activities My Gym put together were thoughtful (like swing time or story time). The attendants made sure to come around and talk to all the babies. Usually these types of places don't have as many activities for babies as they do for toddlers, so we were grateful to find this establishment. For the future, we will probably stick to library story time and parks to meet other babies and parents to save money. But, it was really nice having the opportunity to come here on a trial basis. And, after just one class, I could tell my baby was wanting to socialize more and eager to learn with her baby peers. It was awesome meeting other parents going through the same parenting stages as well!

My 2 year old son has been attending the Toddler (parent & me) class for the past year and I cannot…read moresay enough great things about this gymnastics center. First of all, the coach and owner Mrs. Angela, is a phenomenal teacher and truly cares for her students. She knows all the kids' names, she always has a ton of positive energy that is perfect for kids, and she knows just what to say to motivate and talk to young kids to keep them engaged. She is amazing and my son talks about her throughout the week because he is always so excited to see her on Wednesdays. I like that the class is structured, yet flexible enough to accommodate individual differences in children's energy levels and ability to sit and attend. There is no judgement for children who have more energy, who might not be listening as well as others, or who might be having an off day. They do a really good job with meeting kids where they're at and then appropriately challenging them. One of the reasons I enrolled my son in this class was to learn coordination and body awareness, which he has definitely done, but I also love that they teach gymnastics skills in the Toddler class (like real gymnastics moves that you would think only the older kids can do). At first my son couldn't do any of them, but as he watched Mrs. Angela and practiced them, he quickly caught on and was doing moves that I had no idea he could do at 2 years old! A lot of the moves they practice are also the building blocks for higher level gymnastic moves (hand stands, cartwheels, bar and floor work) and it's amazing to watch him progress towards being able to do these moves. He is not only becoming more coordinated and learning what his body can do, he is learning some impressive gymnastics skills! They do a great job of teaching to kids who are at different levels since kids can practice doing as much of the move as they can and as they get better, they are getting closer to the full move. The best part about this class is it's fun. I get excited for our gymnastics day and so does my son. It makes me so happy to see him having a good time and being proud of himself for mastering challenging skills. They have a big trampoline, bars, rings, spring boards, balance beam, a toddler area, foam pieces to climb over or go under, ladders to climb, mats to somersault on, and fun songs the kids get to dance and sing to while working their body. The class has a lot of repetition to help kids learn and master moves, however each class is different than the last to keep kids from getting bored. SoCal is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive gymnastics experience. We love Mrs. Angela but I have head that the other teachers are great too!
