I spoke with Coach Donald Duck (Doug), and he was incredibly kind and willing to come out to our neighborhood to host a class. Unlike other programs we have tried that required a minimum number of participants, Coach Doug's main focus was simply teaching and coaching the kids. His passion really shines through. He is wonderful with the children. He is friendly, kind, and even a little silly to keep them engaged, while still having the right balance of discipline. He teaches the kids to listen, follow directions, and be kind to one another. Best of all, he actually teaches them real skills for the sport. It is not just running around. He designs fun games that incorporate the skills they are learning, which keeps the kids excited and motivated. Overall, Phoenix Sports has been such a positive experience for our family. We are definitely planning to continue with them and cannot wait to try out the other sports they offer.

My 8 year old loves baseball and wants to play so bad, but we can't commit to the 4 day practice/game commitment of Little League, and it's hard to find any other baseball programs around this area for elementary aged kids. My 8 year old was a little old for the 5-7 program, but Coach allowed him to still participate since there were other 7 year olds in it. He had such a great time! It was a very positive environment, Coach gave good tips to improve technique, and his assistant coaches were kind and talented; I think they were high school kids who play on teams. It's always great to see older kids investing time in the younger generation. I highly recommend this program!

THIS IS BY NO MEANS ON THE INSTRUCTORS I think they are all so sweet just not familiar with the mind of an active toddler who just learned how to walk and run. There was not much interaction with music, they spent half the time on technical moves and structure. Maybe this is on me but I thought it would be more fun loving and carefree. We also were doing this for socialization and there are not other kids. One thing that did irritate me was at the end of the class that we were the only ones signed up for she suggested we come to a class at a different location to see how class is with "more well behaved kids". Well the class she suggested has a 7 and 10 month old. My daughter would have done great at 7 and 10 months too because she wasn't running at that point. My suggestion is if you don't know toddlers maybe don't offer classes for them or get instructors who have worked with or have toddlers and understand their attention span. Also. It was very hot it in studio my daughter downed her water we asked if they had a place to fill up and she told us to go to the subway next door. So just bring a lot of water on the summer days

We've been in Ms. Ava's Primary Ballet class for the past year and a half, and we absolutely love her. She keeps every class fresh by including engaging games and fun stretches into every class. She is so kind, patient, and encouraging, and does a great job of teaching all the dance moves and building students' confidence. She also spends a lot of time practicing the Bravo Bash dances, and my girls always feel super prepared for their recitals. A few words on the recitals: The Bravo Bashes are so much fun. They're the perfect, low-stress way for kids to build their confidence dancing in front of an audience without a lot of added pressure. All the rehearsals are done during class time, and students can sit with their parents in the audience until it's their time to perform. The performance fee is super reasonable compared to other studios, and students get to keep their adorable, high- quality costumes. All in all, Tutu School is a win!!
