As a first time home buyer constructing a new build home, making sure every thing is built to code…read moreis pretty nerve wrecking. We are in a Facebook group for our builder and there is all the negative talks about things being built incorrectly. As a result of this we went to Yelp to hire our own inspector. This is where we found Rich. Rich has been amazing throughout this whole process. We hired him to do our pre-drywall inspection as well as our final inspection before move in. The best thing about Rich is he provides very thorough reporting with a quick turn around. We received both reports same day as the inspection to pass over to our developer. Rich made sure that we understood everything and provided answers to all our questions. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a home inspector and will be hiring again for our one year inspection.

We recently hired Dave to inspect our recently purchased home, after we found a couple of things…read morethat we felt the city inspector should have caught during the building process - and wanted to make sure there wasn't anything major that we were missing. Dave was super-easy to work with and very professional. It was easy to find a day/time when he could inspect our home (he is available on Saturdays!), and he went through our home in a timely, and thorough manor. He not only caught things that should be fixed/corrected, but also just let me know along the way things that we can do monthly/annually to increase the life of some machines/products in our home. He inspected our home on a Saturday morning, and we received the PDF report that night via email - a thorough report including pictures - and everything was explained in laymen's terms as well as "contractor-speak". It was easy to understand and very helpful. Sometimes you feel like people in the home-industry are just trying to get you to spend more money - I never felt like that with Morgenroth's Home Inspection. I would hire Dave again and refer him to a friend or family member!

Unfortunately, our experience with this moving company was very disappointing…read more During the packing process, I had to repeatedly follow staff around to make sure things were actually being packed. Items were left behind in closets, kitchen items were missed, and overall there was a lack of attention to detail. We were also told that our toiletries were "too much" and they would not take them, and they refused to take unopened, brand-new laundry detergent. Communication became another major issue. We were notified less than 24 hours in advance that delivery would be taking place at 8:00 a.m. at our new home. We contacted ownership and simply asked if delivery could be moved to noon because my flight was not landing until 9:00 a.m. and my husband would arrive later that day. Instead of working with us, Angie was rude and stated that we already knew when they would be there. That was incorrect -- she appeared to be referring to the packing schedule, not delivery. I explained our travel situation and tried to communicate in advance. The next morning, I received a message stating they were signing paperwork as "customer not present" and leaving the load at the house. To make matters worse, we discovered damage and missing items: * One dresser was damaged * Another dresser was left laying on its side * Our Tempur-Pedic bed arrived missing wires/components * A decorative statue was damaged Moving is stressful enough, and we expected better communication, more care with our belongings, and basic customer service. Unfortunately, this was not a smooth or positive

They came out and looked at all we wanted moved and listed it all and gave us a good estimate. We had a couple weeks to change items (some ended up selling with the house) and with those changes in place we awaited moving day. I don't know how to explain how great these guys were. They wrapped our items so nicely in blankets to avoid any damage. They were friendly and personable and way nicer to my 14yr old that kept asking them questions than they had to be. They didn't even grumble when I asked them to rearrange items when they got to the new house because I changed my mind where they should go. Best of all they moved a 300lb safe from a basement to another basement and tried their darnedest to get a standing freezer into the new house basement (unfortunately the logistics just didn't work). Estimate came in a lot lower than we expected too. I would recommend them again in a heartbeat !!!

Bruce arrived early and began inspection of the outside of our potential house. He went over everything again comprehensively on each floor and made sure we knew what he was explaining before beginning on a new room. At the end of the inspection, he produced his report and went through everything one last time before emailing the report to us.
