Once we started and saw the retaining wall was intact, he adjusted the price down accordingly. He communicated with me the entire way, giving his opinion and how it would look if we do it this way or that. He wasn't pushy at all, with the exception of the retaining wall adjustment, the price never changed. I've been in construction and facilities all my career, I had Zero issues with Pawel, never thought he was trying to take advantage of me and now have him redoing my back patio which is pavers.

I contacted Pawel, an owner of J&P, who stated that I must of used salt on my driveway which I do not and Pawel knew the truth that it was a substandard concrete job. I had a concrete testing company look at my driveway and they claimed that the contractor added water or overworked the concrete mix. Ozinga, the cement company, claimed that there was no problem with the mix that was delivered to my home. The crew sent to my home trashed my landscaping. I tried to work with J&P about getting my driveway replaced and sharing in the cost to no avail.

The project went flawlessly without any hiccups, and a few days later, I had a beautiful patio that I've been dreaming about for 10 years. It's been a year since they've come and put down the patio and I wanted to come back now to leave the review to say that I thoroughly enjoyed our patio last year and will again this year. The patio has survived last year's Milwaukee winter superbly, despite the enormous amount of snow we had. They are also very professional and honest with their work.
