When I came the next day I was told that "if it was true" that I had actually called the day before, I would need to come back on Monday to speak with whoever I spoke to before. I explained I lived far and needed the part asap. The guy did not even attempt to look for what I needed. This is not the first time such lack of care has happened to me at this place. I was also not told on the phone that they had moved. It is the small things that determine if a business survives. This place better get some integrity soon or they will be closing doors again soon!!

I made an appointment with the "Geek Squad" to repair the back of my iPhone. Upon arriving at 5:40…read morePM, I was told that the repair would take approximately three hours, but they couldn't do it that day because their "tech" had to leave at 7 PM. The store's scheduled closing time that day was 9 PM. I spoke with the manager on site, who tried to help by calling the "Geek Squad tech" back. Once again, I did not feel like a valued customer. When I asked why they would accept a repair appointment if they didn't have a technician available to complete the job, the tech simply shrugged, as if he couldn't care less. At that point, I realized I was just wasting my time dealing with someone who clearly had no concern for customer satisfaction or retention. The worst part is that I have been a Best Buy customer for many years. I even have their credit card and extended warranties for my 65" TV. Needless to say, Best Buy lost a customer today. I am canceling my Best Buy credit card and extended warranties, and I will never set foot in a Best Buy store again.

I highly recommend checking out T-Mobile's calling plans and getting any help you need from these two great staff members. My husband and I had our Verizon account for 18 years (you read that right--18 years!). I needed to upgrade my phone and Verizon had texted a good offer to trade in our old models and get a low price on a new phone. I made an appointment at the Verizon store in Capitola thinking I would get a new phone, get it set up, and be on my way. Silly me. I will fast-forward through the nightmare that is Verizon and just say: yada, yada, yada, I went to T-Mobile to investigate an alternative. It turned out there were a couple of ways I could go with T-Mobile and both options were far better than Verizon was offering, which was a big fat nothing for 18 years of loyalty (even calling Verizon's so-called "loyalty department" yielded nothing). One T-Mobile option gave me a much higher trade-in value for my phone than Verizon was offering (over three times better) and a plan that was comparable in cost to what we had been paying. The second option was to buy a phone, but get a calling plan that saves us $50 a month AND includes free unlimited international text and data (international is an add-on with Verizon and it cost me $10 per day any time I used text or data on a trip, which adds up). Aprile and José were both very patient and kind as we hashed through the options and what made the most sense for us. Once we chose a plan and a phone, Aprile got our phone numbers transferred and got my new phone set up for me. She also changed the sim card in my husband's phone. What we thought was going to be a simple phone trade in turned into a six-hour saga, but T-Mobile, Aprile, and José were all fantastic. Verizon is the evil empire. I highly recommend checking out T-Mobiles calling plans and I highly recommend working with Aprile or José at the Ocean Street store.

I arrived mid-day after an appointment had been made to speak to a rep about the internet package, as ordering online did not allow for pickup for some reason. I arrived at 15:30 to a hand-written sign reading "on lunch - back in 30," with absolutely no indication of time or how long we'd have to wait. After 20 minutes, I was let in and the staff member did not seem to know much about the promotion. There were a lot of inconsistencies with the sign up process, how much it was going to cost (vs. what the online portal was showing me), and overall logistics of the trial. It was a challenging half hour and although I did leave with my new T-Mobile Internet router, the time wasted waiting for them to be open due to unclear communication and feeling like the representative was not very well informed left me feeling meh. So it was not great coming here, but I did leave with what I wanted. Plus I found out the monthly payment amount WAS what I expected and not what was quoted at the store.

So after checking to make sure (for the tenth time) that my firm ware is up to date, I reset the sensors, and/or disable the sensors, delete the Edge from the phone's blue tooth listing, pair the phone again, and it will work for a short time, then starts missing calls again. Contacted support at this messed up company, and their only suggestion was to replace the ear pieces. I spent about $225 for these ear pieces and the features they promised, and they don't perform as they should, and I should replace them with 2 more pieces of the same junk? Yeah, that makes sense. All I can say is the quality of the product and the quality of the support are exactly the same - miserable.

I was met with dismissive and disrespectful attitudes from multiple employees who seemed unable or unwilling to help locate the key needed to unlock the item. Rather than providing basic customer service, the interaction felt unnecessarily difficult and simply RUDE. The employees I interacted with included a woman with long, curly black hair and several male employees who were unable to resolve the issue. A simple request for assistance turned into a very negative customer experience. I hope management addresses this because customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience for needing help accessing items the store has chosen to keep locked. Zero stars
