David Salgado at Immanuel Campus of Care is a standout professional in senior care…read more With an extensive background in behavioral health, David brings a level of understanding and compassion that is critical when working with seniors who have complex emotional, cognitive, or behavioral needs. He takes the time to truly listen, explain options clearly, and support families through what can be a very overwhelming process. David operates with integrity and authenticity -- there is no pressure and no agenda, just genuine care and advocacy. The philosophy at Immanuel Campus of Care reflects this same commitment to dignity, safety, and whole-person care. I would confidently trust David and the Immanuel team when helping families navigate senior care decisions, especially when behavioral health experience matters.

The entire staff demonstrated professionalism and were very accommodating to our family. From the admissions team, who made the intake process smooth and efficient, to the medical staff who provided daily care, encouragement, and support, and the transportation drivers who ensured timely appointments. While entrusting a loved one to strangers can be challenging, the staff created a reassuring environment that felt welcoming and supportive. He recovered remarkably quickly, and I believe the dedicated care of this team played a significant role. From my entire family, Thank you Immanuel.

If you read through the reviews, it's the same hoity-toity, uppity-ups complaining about the same shit over and over and over and over and over again. "My appt. was at 10 o'clock. They made me waittttttttttt!!!!!!" I know. We get it. You're some big shot at some fancy ass corporation and your time is money and if the doctor is going to make you wait, then you should be able to bill them! It's the same pansy-ass negative review that we all read over and over and over again for every doctor and dental clinic regardless of where you live. It's as original as their negativity. Listen. All it takes is ONE patient to be late and the entire schedule is thrown out of whack. It's not rocket science. If the dude who's supposed to be there at 7 o'clock in the morning strolls in at 7:08 a.m., it's just going to exasperate the situation as the day goes on. I don't quite see how that's the MD's fault or Summit Medical Groups' fault or Paseo Family Physicians Group's fault. I, for one, have not had any issues with this clinic at all. The horrible virus affecting everyone in the Valley landed on me... coughing... sore throat... stuffy head... congestion... the whole ball of wax. Dr. Tolson always takes time to listen to me before just chucking a prescription at me. He always asks how I'm doing and how everything else is going, overall. The front desk reception staff is pleasant and I even called this morning to see if they had a last minute opening and they did! The waiting area is clean, quiet and comfortable. The MA's (like Tandi) are friendly, accommodating and if/when I do have a prescription - it is filled promptly, accurately and efficiently. I enjoy coming to this clinic and would not hesitate to recommend this clinic to family, friends or fellow Yelp'ers!

I didn't have to wait long before I got called back by the MA. She took my vitals and asked the reason for my visit. Dr. Patel came in within 10 mins after. During this visit I felt the process was more rushed than the last. I was quickly seen and "diagnosed". I was told I would be treated for my untreated cough and a follow up within the next couple of weeks if I'm not doing better. My other concerns of anxiety and fatigue was not resolved due to the Doctors recommendation of treating the cough first since it might cure the fatigue and anxiety. I wasn't a fan of the nurse whom, I had the last time as well. She seems too comfortable in her job and uncaring. Banged on the door, talked to someone outside the door, then entered. Said "you either get better or you don't" regarding the medicine I was prescribed, not the nicest person whom works in the medical field.

However since they have been bought out by HealthyU Clinics the office has turned to crap. They no longer answer the phones (every time I've called) and want you to leave a voice mail or switch to their texting service. Do you know how long it takes to make or switch an appointment using a texting service? No, they do not answer the texts right away. I finally gave up and sent a message to cancel my appointment. I found Dr. Rodriguez at a practice 20 minutes away and will move my records to his new office. Too bad as TrueCare, or shall I say HealthyU Clinics, was less than 1/2 mile from my house.

I gave called multiple times to schedule an appointment as I hold for up to 20 minutes then the call hangs up. I call 6 times then hit the provider line and spoke with Nadine, I informed her I was not a provider but could not get a person on the phone and I had a week ago text a message requesting an appointment with no call back. Nadine informed me that she would relate the message to the providers Medical assistant. I asked how long will this take she says it depends on how busy she is. I said this is bullshit. I need a supervisor to call me, she said ma'am I will not tolerate this behavior. I said that's fine. Have your supervisor call me still no .

He never talks down to me and I feel we work together well as a team for my care. When I asked about an EKG, he didn't make me return to set up another appt., but immediately called in a PA to take it for me and I didn't have to wait for results. The practice had a great phlebotomist who left, so I was apprehensive about the new one, but she is great too. It's convenient to have bloodwork tests available in the same building, and the facility itself is in a good location and on the 138 Valley Metro route which is helpful. The weakest link in the practice is the way scheduling and general questions are handled. Upon leaving, I was given a printout with the next appt. without any consultation with me about dates and times that work best for me, so I had to change it and that was an unnecessary step and the presumptuousness of setting up a random appt. for me did not make me feel respected. Also, when I called to make my bloodwork appt. and specifically asked about the times, I was not told about the lab being closed for lunch so when I came, I had to wait around and that was not a good use of my time. When I texted that I should have been informed about the lunch hour, the response I received was "We always have our lab tech take lunch from 12 to 1pm." Notice there was no apology for my inconvenience or for not providing the complete information, just telling me what they "always do" as though I'm supposed to know that. The questionnaire that you have to fill out with only yes or no answers also needs some improvements since binary answers rather than also allowing for N/A or Unsure and without a way to add additional information can result in inaccurate records.

I went to my appointment at 40 weeks, and we decided to schedule another appointment for the following week to discuss the option of induction if the baby did not come. When the baby didn't arrive, I went for my appointment, but the receptionist informed me that Dr. Brotsky had gone on vacation and wouldn't return for a week. I understand that people have lives, but this information hadn't been communicated to me, and I was 41 weeks pregnant. I felt abandoned. I wanted to speak with a nurse practitioner at least to ensure the baby's safety, but they told me I didn't need to talk to anyone and instructed me to call the hospital in three days to schedule an induction. I experienced a lot of anxiety waiting for the baby and having no backup plan. Three days later, the hospital called me and asked me to come in within 40 minutes because apparently, Dr. Brotsky had scheduled an induction for me, but no one had informed me. We rushed to the hospital. Dr. Brotsky returned for the birth even though I had been told she was gone for a week. After practicing pushing with her a few times, she left me with the nurse. I had an epidural so I was not feeling contractions and the monitor was not working and not reading them. I was pushing but not making progress. When I asked Dr. Brotsky to come back, she responded with, "How can I help you?" when I was so vulnerable and needed guidance and support. Once she arrived, my baby was born in 20 minutes. So she could have helped by simply doing her job!!! I am grateful that both my baby and I are healthy, but I couldn't have the birth I had envisioned because of poor communication and planning. I don't recommend Dr. Brotsky. While she seems to care, it feels insincere, and in reality, she does not seem to prioritize her patients' needs.
