He spends time with his patients, unlike so many physicians who have an enormous caseload and whose patients are lucky to get 2 minutes of the doc's time. I have, at times, been frustrated by the front office. But fortunately, that seems to have improved this past year. I normally wait less than 15 minutes before they take me back, weigh me and situate me in the exam room. Dr. Bailes usually comes in within 10 minutes. I think it's fairly normal wait time. I moved to San Diego in January, 2013. Nothing really in AZ for me now. But, I still see Dr. Bailes as my regular physician. Doesn't that pretty much say it all?

I had looked around my area for clinics that were available for an appointment and they were all booked for months in advance. Fortunately, I was able to get an appointment with this clinic in a week. I saw Mickaela, one of the physician assistants on staff, for my visit. She was very knowledgeable in my condition and helped me find the best medication I needed. Mickaela was so kind and personable with her questions in order to get to better know my health, but as well as who I am as a person. This type of focus in caring for the "person" instead of just the "patient" truly is what this clinic embodies and is hard to find in healthcare. The MA Monica was so welcoming and friendly when taking my vitals, keeping me at ease. The front desk staff answered all my questions and made the process of being a new patient easy and seamless. I was even able to get lab work done in the clinic which was convenient and efficient of my time. I would highly recommend this clinic and the emphasis that they put into providing optimum care to every single person they encounter.

I've…read morebeen seeing the office for about seven months now, and I am extremely pleased with the care that I've received from all of the providers. Because I am a frequent user of the practice's patient portal, I do not mind the $50 administrative fee because I feel it is necessary to balance out the extra work that they have because of the patient portal. For patients with EDS, this office is a godsend as so few doctors acknowledge the disorder, more or much less treat the disorder. I appreciate the added bonus of having in-house counseling and the in-house lab. Every time I go in, I am greeted warmly and well taken care by the administrative staff and medical professionals.

But like all the other countless reviews you will find online, his staff are downright rude, incompetent, and just horrible to deal with. You will not be able to get anyone to answer the phone, and when they do, it is like talking to a brick wall. Often times I would arrive at the office to pick up a prescription, where they would act like no one was there, and at times I would even see them standing behind the wall texting while you are ignored and not even acknowledged. The way they speak to and treat the patients is atrocious, and I'm not sure why Dr Griffith allows this nor takes action. Simple tasks like scheduling an appt or filling a prescription, are completely out of their comprehension and I am glad to have found a new Dr close by, with a professional, friendly staff.

I rate Dr Hanna-Moussa as one of my very best--a high-performing, competent, and passionate doctor who is deeply committed to his work. I have been his grateful patient for many years. An example of his patient care is what just happened to me on my vacation to New England, when he rescued me after a Dexcom G7 BGM failed. His quick assistance and willingness to help were amazing. Here's what happened. I had packed one additional G7 for the trip. Because my current G7 got caught on clothing and was ripped off my arm, I inserted my new "spare" G7. That G7 BGM, upon insertion, had an immediate hardware failure- displaying a failed sensor; replace immediately. I had no other G7's with me. This all happened while: I was on vacation 2,800 miles away. There was a 3-hour time zone difference between Arizona and my vacation location on the East Coast. This happened at the worst of times, on a SUNDAY at 6:00 am Arizona time. Panic definitely set in. I started calling everyone. Most responses were "We are closed; call back during regular business hours, Monday through Friday." I had no other G7's with me, and Dr. Moussa's quick, remote assistance showed his genuine dedication to patient support, especially during emergencies. This level of support is truly above and beyond what most medical professionals would do, and it makes me feel deeply grateful. I want to recognize his unwavering dedication, medical wisdom, and personalized approach, and reassure potential patients of his expertise and compassionate care.
