I have severe anxiety regarding needles. I had to get my 2nd shingles injection today. My 1st one was traumatizing. It was done at a Walgreens. Therefore, I decided to go to Evernorth Care Group off Thunderbird Rd since my PCP is there. I was terrified! However, the LPN whose name is NEIL took such great care of me! He's from England. He was very patient with me, put French music on his laptop and said all the right things to calm me down. It was incredible! Thank you for going above and beyond for this 63 year old who feels like a 5 year old when she sees needles! I didn't get a lolli but at least I wasn't wheeled out to my car by the security guard! read more

this is MY PARENTS dr office. I had the honor of going with my mom down to get some lab work done and as I'm sitting here I hear the man at the front desk talking with pure annoyance towards an older gentleman. he did not want to provide no help to this man just said "I have no idea" zero compassion zero care. I'm writing this simply because I'm the waiting room is other people mothers and fathers sitting here as well and I would be livid to know my parents have been dealing with this and nobody was doing anything about it. healthcare is about care and compassion first and for most. Doctors, nice people are nice but you can never reach anyone in person. Do you have to go through the 800 number get messages sent send a message to request call from my doctor never heard back for four days had to drive in. They still didn't provide me with my information on my blood results and won't release them until they've been reviewed by the doctor, it's been well over a week and the communication has been nothing but difficult I send information that's completely concise and clear and I get back more questions asking the same information that I put in the previous communication. Very very frustrating. I like the doctor but this whole back in system is really not pleasing at all. read more

I've seen the same doctor for around five years, and visited this location for over two years since he moved here. Everything is really great. From the front office staff to the pharmacy. It's just a good experience with everyone I deal with. It's even hard to give a more detailed review, because nothing stands out as less that great. They have my prescriptions ready right away, and I can do it all on the app. The doctor is fast to reply to emails and they are easy to schedule with online or by phone. read more

For the most part, all CMG locations are awful, but this is the one I've had the most experience with. They never return calls promptly, if at all. Because my husband works nights, I am his authorized POA to take care of his cigna business during the daytime. No matter how many messages he leaves, they will always call his number (which is on silent) rather than my number, which postpones our communications by a day or a weekend at minimum. When I call the office, they talk to me like I am a child who does not understand how insurance works, and when I ask them for what my husband needs, they're condescending and nasty to me until they confirm that I am, in fact, his POA. (Then they go back to treating me like a child who does not understand how insurance or healthcare works.) I recently accompanied my husband to some eye tests. The technician performing the tests was clearly inconvenienced by my wheelchair, and treated me like a piece of furniture, when she wasn't treating me like dog by ordering me to move or stay with a grunt and a point. Fun fact, cigna: patients are allowed to have a friend, family member, or advocate accompany them to their appointments, and you actually can't discriminate against us if we're disabled or a member of any other protected class, even if you find us inconvenient because your exam rooms are poorly designed. Dealing with this place is terrible, their communication is awful (when it's not downright rude or offensive), and there's no follow-through when the doctor promises to do something. But employers get Cigna plans dirt cheap by keeping the network small and in-house, so some of us are stuck using their sub-standard services. How can CMG be trusted to provide quality care if they're also owed by the insurance company paying for that care? If you have a choice of where to go, go elsewhere. read more

Such a disappointment! They were a waste of time and money. The NP there said people with COVID shouldn't come there. Aren't Urgent Cares suppose to care for the sick? Rude staff and horrible care. I get that they are overwhelmed with patients, but that's no excuse to be rude. read more

If I could rate this facility a 0, I gladly would! Let me start by saying, THEY DO NOT TAKE YOUR CONCERNS SERIOUSLY. Yesterday (4/21/22), my boyfriend and I visited this facility to seek medical assistance with this scorching pain from his back. It's been a week now and the pain is bothering him at work, especially during his sleep. We walked in and the front desk nurse was the sweetest. I can say the same for the lovely nurse who took his vitals and asked him all the questions to determine the level of pain he's in. When we were met by the doctor, we should've taken that as the first red flag and run out the door!!!!! This nurse or doctor, we won't know because she failed to properly introduce herself. She looked at my boyfriend's back for the source of pain and said "I don't know what to tell you, but taking tylenol or ibuprofen is the best we can do"!! To say we were both livid with this response, is an understatement. Then she just stood there and looked at us like she was waiting for a response. I asked for an xray scan or something to give us an idea of what is causing the pain. She continues with to mumble that the xray won't be much of a help and show anything. I was annoyed that the medical assistance we were hoping to get was not the choice. Like that wasn't the worse, when they returned from the xray room she continued work to say there's nothing they can do but recommend some OTC medication. Then she proceeded to say that they were closing in 5 minutes!!!! Had we known they were closing that early , we would've never came to urgent care!!! So unprofessional and rude! Will never come back here, waste of money. All they do is collect people's money with minimal to no care provided at all!!! This place will kill you. read more

This facility is excellent. The staff are super fun and friendly, be it front-of-house, or back in the technical areas. My family have been here several times in the last 18 months for one thing or another and always received the utmost care and attention. We are seen in ultra quick times, and the results are always right there in a day or two. Considering the high customer base, all the staff do a fantastic job. I appreciate that we're not using them for life-threatening, or traumatic issues which can affect people's opinions; however, based on my.current numerous visits using the X-ray and scan departments, I can't find fault. They are worth every penny / cent, and I actually look forward to my visits here. Thanks Sun City Cigna - keep doing what you do. read more

This facility is the best. I even drive extra far just to go. Dr Copas is amazing. Their eyeglasses team are so polite. The eyeglasses tech Mr Sosa who helps you pick your frames is who you need to see if you struggle with style! He was awesome at knowing what looked great and exactly how to get the best from your insurance. Even helped my hubby choose a completely different style than normal and he loves it. Anyways team Cigna here are great, down to the front desk reception! She was awesome to. I've been a few times now, every visit exactly the same. read more

I absolutely love this facility, the providers and the staff! The front office staff is always pleasant. The nurse took my vitals was efficient yet took the time to be kind and look me in the eyes as she asked me questions. Dr. Hand took great care in listening to me and I got exactly what I needed. I also happened to run into and talk to the supervisor while I was waiting in the waiting room, and she was great. She was very interested in listening to the customers and improving in every way they could. Thanks for a great experience. read more

I make an appt to be seen by Dr. Applegate, and at time of making my appt I told them that I was new patient but need to be seen asap.. They make me a 3:20pm appt because of an opening for this day and then tell me when I show up that I have to reschedule because I am a new patient.. HEY I WAS THERE BECAUSE YOU PEOPLE MADE THE APPT.. Never again.. Instead of paying a $30 copay, I had to pay urgent care right next door $75 for their professional help.. Thank Cigna Medical Group at Dr. Applegates office for Not seeing me. My wife and I needed a new family practice doctor after moving to this side of town. We went in and the only good part about this place was the cleanliness. Upon checking in the secretary misplaced my wife's insurance card and proceeded to argue that she had given it back. She eventually found it and apologized. How about listening to your customers? The intake nurse was rude and cold. She didn't seem to care about her job or the patients. The worst part? Dr. Patell was more cold then the nurse. He didn't introduce himself to either of us. Then my wife and I had similar experiences. Dr. Patell rushed us through and didn't listen to either of us. We will not be returning to this facility and do not recommend them to anyone. read more

I was nervous about visiting here after reading the one star review. However, I have been here numerous times now and had excellent, friendly and caring service from everyone each time. From the security person at the front desk, to the people I've checked in with, in primary care, lab and podiatry, to the technicians in the lab and imaging, people have been very friendly and helpful and good at their jobs. My doctor is outstanding, in my opinion. The best I can remember having. I don't often write reviews, but wanted to share my experiences and give credit where I feel credit is due. read more
