I was a big fan of TrueCare MD and was a patient of Dr. Ciszek, until she moved to Florida, Dr. Rodriguez, until he left the practice, and now Sammi Wong, FNP. However since they have been bought out by HealthyU Clinics the office has turned to crap. They no longer answer the phones (every time I've called) and want you to leave a voice mail or switch to their texting service. Do you know how long it takes to make or switch an appointment using a texting service? No, they do not answer the texts right away. I finally gave up and sent a message to cancel my appointment. I found Dr. Rodriguez at a practice 20 minutes away and will move my records to his new office. Too bad as TrueCare, or shall I say HealthyU Clinics, was less than 1/2 mile from my house. read more

So disappointed with this clinic, Dr Rodriguez didn't even inform his patients he was selling his practice. I gave called multiple times to schedule an appointment as I hold for up to 20 minutes then the call hangs up. I call 6 times then hit the provider line and spoke with Nadine, I informed her I was not a provider but could not get a person on the phone and I had a week ago text a message requesting an appointment with no call back. Nadine informed me that she would relate the message to the providers Medical assistant. I asked how long will this take she says it depends on how busy she is. I said this is bullshit. If I could rate it lower I would. While I have been with this practice for awhile, their service has now gone so far downhill as to be untenable. I was in the hospital and in-patient rehab for almost a month. The case manager tried to make a discharge appointment for me, and was informed the soonest they could get me in was 3 weeks away, and that appointment was one I had made 6 months previously! This is unheard of for a hospital discharge appointment. At my appt I informed the PA that I had a neurosurgeon appointment the following week. When I saw him the one & only time, he discharged me and told me my primary should handle my prescriptions. As it came closer to needing refills I called the office and the phone just went dead. This happened repeatedly over the course of several days, no message the number was out of service, the number was temporarily out of service; nothing. When you try texting them they either ignore the text, only answer part of it, and definitely don't answer on a timely basis. Starting on February 9th I first informed them of what the neurosurgeon said as well as asking which normal medications i should continue taking; one's hospital had given or the ones they had originally prescribed as well as the new ones the hospital had prescribed. I have never received a response about hospital or original scripts, and it took until 2 days ago, February 25, to say they would not refill the new hospital meds but could refer me to a pain management doctor despite multiple texts back and forth. I have now been without my meds for a long period of time and i guarantee you a pain management doctor isn't getting me in tomorrow! read more

The staff at the clinic are very friendly and professional. Everyone tries to secure an appointment with Dr. Rodriguez, and I was no exception. However, due to my circumstances and workload, I missed the opportunity to see Dr. Rodriguez and I had no choice but to have my appointment with Dr. Shanna. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience with Dr. Shanna; he is knowledgeable and earned my respect and trust during my consultation. Although he may not have as much experience as Dr. Rodriguez because of his age, it's clear that Dr. Rodriguez excels at selecting his staff. I look forward to becoming a permanent patient of True Care MD. read more

Had trouble when my original PCP retired, I asked friends and family for recommendations. Everyone said Dr. Fala, so I made a consult appt. What a joy! He was so pleasant and knowledgeable that I would recommend him to people of all ages. His PA, Bernadette, is fabulous. I called my PCP (Doctor Pedro Rodrigues @ TrueCare MD) last Wednesday and scheduled an appointment to be seen because his clinic would not approve my medication refills unless I was seen. Likewise I was injured in an accident and wanted to follow up with my doctor regarding treatment. The clinic took my call and immediately focused on my accident. They rushed me to be seen only to push some chiropractor ( Daniel Spillmann @ az personal injury centers) on me that likewise shares a space at their clinic. That chiropractor took down my information and wrote me a referral for imaging and assured me that an attorney within his network would give me a call for representation. They never called me for representation. The imaging referral was not honored and my 200 mile round trip from Tucson to Peoria for treatment was a wasted. I just wanted treatment and somehow my doctor's office is involved in some ploy to get medical payments from insurance companies on accidental claims. I called again for treatment today for ongoing diabetes issues and was treated harshly by the staff and the clinic manager. I was hung up on and disrespected because I asked that I speak to the Doctor directly. The clinic manager falsely said that I was rude and used profanity. I assured them that I would file a complaint with the Arizona Medical Board. read more

Dr. Pedro Rodriguez Guggiari, MD is the most caring and compassionate doctor I have seen in a long, long time. He doesn't rush you through like cattle, like a lot of other doctor offices do. I feel he takes the time to listen and genuinely cares about my health. I highly recommend him as your adult primary care physician! The only negative is you have to wait. Since he takes the time to listen to you, he tends to run a little behind schedule. I feel the trade off is worth the wait! read more

I've been going there since I had my car accident, Dr. Shani is awsome the nurses or receptionists what ever they are - are jokes especially lil miss unethical and unprofessional nurse/ receptionist Alma they need to just let her go on maternity leave and not come back. Thats the only bad experience I've had there. Not bashing on the Drs just the office staff. Mainly the Alma chick. This is the worst medical practice I've ever encountered. They treat their elderly patients like cattle. They shuffle them in, order a bunch of tests, refuse to diagnose or treat, and farm them out to a bunch of unnecessary specialists, cashing in on referrals. They do NOT answer their phones, nor return calls. My mom became seriously ill due to months of their negligence. They also hand out scripts for unnecessary meds on demand, including opiods. Do not trust your loved ones to them. I fired them and got her a new primary. Hopefully it's not too late for her to recover from their neglect. read more

i see Dr Rodriguez and he really cares, but unfortunately his office staff at this location continue to make mistakes with medical records, authorizations, appointment times, etc. They are also rude. It's a shame to have great doctors but staff that doesn't take pride in their work. read more

I am new to the state and never am one to leave reviews but I recommend to either use caution and have him write things down or just find a more trustworthy physician. If I could give Truecare MD & Dr. Ana Ciszek & her receptionist Marisol less then a star I would. I went today for a new-patient appt. & waited 50min w/o anyone saying Dr. running late. When I asked, they decided to take me back to get me started but 1st I asked medical assistant to ck how much longer before I'm seen. I over heard receptionist or the Dr. say in a snotty tone "Sorry!" to the medical assist.when he asked them how much longer. After that I decided to leave & I told them I wanted a refund for my co-pay. Marisol didn't even apologize for the inconvenience just wanted me to reschedule. If the front office staff or Dr. had at least truly been apologetic, respected my time and warned me in advance on the delay I may have waited. It's a shame Dr.'s & staff at Truecare don't value their patients time as if we don't have value ourselves, but they'll gladly pack in their waiting rooms like sardines while triple booking & take our $. Do NOT go to Truecare. I'm Very disappinted & will tell everyone I know to avoid this facility, Dr. Ciszek & how awful her front office staff Marisol is. read more
