Overheats. 3 service calls Unit still does not make ice and overheats, creating a potential fire hazard Have asked since the second service call for a replacement unit 3 months later, after numerous requests for a replacement, they are now saying they have "turned it over to Scotsman warranty." (What does that even mean? They have delayed by sending their "service" people, I suppose being paid by Scotsman warranty, to fix a unit that can't be fixed,) Now they are saying they offered at last repair appointment to take the unit in to be repaired. That is not true. We were going out of town to our son's wedding for a month and would have been happy for them to take it while we were gone and repair or replace. They did not offer that. And now, they say they have "turned it over to Scotsman," are delaying further. We bought it from them, it never worked, we want a replacement. They can deal with Scotsman, that is not our responsibility. They sold us a new unit that never worked.

TL;DR: the microwave was FIXED in less than 24 hours from my call to have them out! They were super easy to schedule with, and offered next-day service. I woke up this morning and my fridge was not working. I started calling around but kept striking…read moreout trying to find someone to diagnose the issue so that I could decide if a new fridge was needed or if mine was repairable. I found Tager just via online search and called. I appreciated that an actual person answered and was able to get someone out quickly. They sent a text when the technician was on the way. The technician was very nice, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, they weren't able to repair the issue due to no fault of their own. The fridge was old and just done. The technician went above and beyond to answer my additional questions and gave me some advice regarding my new fridge that I now need to purchase. They charge $98 to come out which I feel is reasonable. If you get a repair, they waive the service charge. As a single woman I appreciate the honesty and service that I received. I will definitely call them again if I need any more assistance with my appliances and I definitely recommend them.

Ok, close it down folks, I've found my new appliance repair guy for the foreseeable future…read more I had started down the YouTube instructional video.. you know the ones that make everything look incredibly easy, but then it turns out it's a marginally different model of dryer and completely changes the whole equation? Yeah, one of those. So about fifty suppressed swear words later, I'm on the phone with The Other Guy, and we're booked for a short window the next day. He jumped right in and dismantled the entire thing to clean it out, test out parts, and make sure he got it right. He showed me how the burner was glowing too hot, which means we'd just be replacing it again in a handful of months. We tested and tried different things on it, and he landed on an airflow issue (in addition to already fixing the broken part), and shortened our exhaust duct. He stuck around to make sure this fix was it and was going to take, and it's been humming ever since. I also found his pricing fair, and will go to him again (but good lord hopefully not for a while, we've had enough of these things this year). On last note -- just call him. I know. I want to send the message and hope it works out, but I think it's easier and more likely to happen if you just call on this one.

I moved into a new home 14 months ago. After the year warranty was up on the built in microwave, it blew a fuse. Dye's friendly tech replaced the fuse and the problem causing the fuse to blow. The builder placed the outlet in a position that crimped the cord to the power. Dye's tech moved the outlet to a safer area which eliminated the problem.
