Around this location are two other convenient store gas stations. This one won out due to it being a later lunch time and sorry to say the other locations have been letting us down. Apparently hubby has had a few stops for lunch in Kwik Star. He gave me the walk through of all their options. They have a really large selection of premade salads and cold options and then a really nice selection of hot meals as well. Everything was clean and well lit. Lots of options out on display. For $9.99 we got an 8 pieces chicken tenders. Got a couple fountain drinks which consisted of black berry lemonade and an Arnold Palmer. Took our selection back out to the vehicle, We picked up a couple different sauces, but only ended up using one. Got my little fingers on a chicken tender and my jaw dropped. This one piece I picked up was no joke. She thick! As my husband devoured a couple of these monsters, I filled up on ONE! We enjoyed what we had and brought the rest home. I will not have a problem stopping at this chain in the future to try other things they have.

"My husband and I were severely mistreated and disrespected by a racist employee working the night shift April 6th 2026 at 12:20 a.m. We came in to get gas & water. The two of us walked back to the soda fountain filled up a glass of water, & walked to the front of the store, and the cashier ran to the back as we came to the register. She then came back up and told us we needed to leave the store before we had the chance to even pay for our gas or get anything that we needed. We asked her why? She said, did you guys use that machine back there? Both of us asked her, what machine cause we had no idea what she was talking about. We told her we just got some water at the fountain and continued to question her, since she continued say "you're done" & "get out" saying it had to have been us, when we didn't even know what "it" was. She was extremely rude & disrespectful to us, treating us like scum. She eventually told us the floor was flooded with coffee & I said, "and why would you think we did that?!" I can't imagine this is how customers are ever to be treated even ones who do make a mess but we literally had nothing to do with it! She started ringing up our requests, however, then she made the comment that, it wasn't even me, it was "how my husband looked." Then we got angry because I will not tolerate her treating us like shit because he is Mexican American. She tried to backtrack and say it was because he looked dumbfounded and asked her, "What machine", however, we both reacted that way, of course we were confused!! We had been back there for all of 30 seconds & not even in that part of the store since obviously we hadn't even seen what she was talking about. She acted like we were lying!! I told her to go check her cameras and she would see how wrong she was for treating us that way!! She continued to say "it was how he looked." HOW DARE SHE TREAT ANY CUSTOMER THAT WAY?! After I called her out for being racist she started to back peddle & said sorry, but at that point we were just livid from the level of disrespect we received. We began to leave and then I came back in because I realized in all of our distress, I took the water cup with me without paying. So I brought it back in so we wouldn't also be accused of stealing since she clearly was prejudice & had it out for us. I demanded to know her managers name several times which she REFUSED to give me, she wouldn't give me her name either, but she was the middle-aged redhead woman working the registers at the date & time mentioned. We have never been treated with such disgusting, foul, disrespect & unprofessional behavior at any of your other locations. We were, quite frankly, in shock, at the way we were being treated. Towards the end, I was so livid that we were yelling & I called her a racist b**** several times. With the way Hispanics being targeted in this country, I'm furious that he had to endure this treatment because of his ethnicity, by one of your employees in this store. The owner/manager of this store needs to go & review the cameras during this incident & thoroughly evaluate how this employee acted so severely inappropriately. I admit that we became verbally hostile, after she made it about "how he looked" & when she also continued to refuse to give me the managers name, to which she threatened to call the cops. Who wouldn't be hurt & angry at being so severely disrespected like that for no reason at all? We could have handled the situation better, but this whole situation should have never started to begin with. We were nice to her before she acted the way she did towards us. Should your management and corporate team choose to want to remedy this situation, we would like her fired immediately!!! We are contemplating contacting a lawyer & the news media, because this whole encounter was so outrageous & unacceptable & none of your other patrons should have to encounter that employee ever. Complain about Mechanic Took car in 1st time charged me $1,200.00 had it home one week took it back…read moreSame problem. Charged me another $334.00. Called me to come and get it. As HE COULD NOT FIND THE PROBLEM. We left right away to go and pick it up. By the time we got there HE had left. Chicken Car still not running right. ALL HE IS... A Part changer. Don't knowj nothing about fixing them just how to put on new parts and hope that solves the problem. HE doen't even deserve the one star. Will turn it in to BBB and maybe even Attorney General Not sure on that yet. Still to mad to make up my mind.

Went back to the dealer with it and they agreed to fix everything. Price was below book and the people at The Car Store were a pleasure to deal with. We've had the car for 9 months now and the only work we've had to have done on it was routine brake work (The brakes had about 30% left on them when we bought it so we expected that.) I'd happily go back and buy another car from them any day.
