Michael's services were exceptional and extremely helpful in navigating the process of buying the unit under our circumstances. He is plainspoken and conveys everything clearly for those unfamiliar with the legalese of home ownership in Chicago. He and his colleagues in his office are also quick in their communication. We even ran into a last-minute hurdle due to the seller's actions and Michael provided great assurance to us and peace of mind when navigating the surprise. We are very grateful to him and his office.

He is fast to respond and explains things clearly and makes things easy to understand. We have used John 3 times now, once for a contract we cancelled due to inspection issues. He did a great job getting us through that. Recently we bought a new home and sold our old one and wouldn't want to use anyone else. Aside from John, even a few months post sale we get emails from Wasserman with helpful reminders regarding privacy, security and other valuable insights for a new owner. It's a little thing, but it's clear they value their clients even after the "work" is done. There's more... They also are active with local charities, which for me is a big plus. I was happy to match their donation to WITS. No reason not to go with Wasserman. Great value for the money. We loved working with them. Ask for John, you won't be disappointed.

Their responses were always agile, timely, and direct -- true 1:1 communication whenever needed. I never felt left waiting or uncertain. Their attention to detail and strategic advice gave me confidence during what could have otherwise been a stressful experience. I truly felt protected and well represented at every step. Without hesitation, I would work with them again and highly recommend their services to anyone in need of real estate legal counsel. Carlos

Aaron seriously is a lifesaver! I had a crazy situation with my previous landlord with demands on…read moretheir end that were so outrageous. Aaron jumped in and got me out of my lease asap. The landlord was an attorney and felt like it was ok to try and bully me into doing what he wanted. I knew I needed an attorney after several attempts of trying to resolve the issue on my own. I hired Aaron, and he found a careless mistake on the landlord's side with an elementary lease obligation for Chicago tenant laws. Aaron was able to shut this idiot down so I could move on. Aaron is not only great at his job but is also hilarious and made my situation better in more ways than one. I appreciate his professionalism, drive to work hard for his clients, and sense of humor. He is a no BS kind of person. I appreciate this in people and Aaron! Thank you, Aaron, for changing things for me and giving me peace to move on. You ROCK!!

I reached out to Aaron when I discovered that my tenants were conducting potentially illegal and…read moredangerous activities in the basement. This somehow seemed to personally offend him. I have worked in the legal field for over a decade and I have never encountered a more rude, sneering and condescending individual. Our first phone conversation was seemingly OK and then it went downhill from there. Afterwards nearly every question I asked was met with disdain. At times he seemed to be on the verge of giving himself an ulcer. He would constantly interrupt and attempt to browbeat. At no point did I feel like this was a lawyer who would have my best interests at heart. My personal favorite moment of our short-lived relationship is when he dramatically sighed and said "Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to do some work for you." I assume no one forced him to be a lawyer. Eventually he decided that we should serve the tenants a termination of lease. He misspelled "dangerous" on the notice. You would think for a 3K retainer he would avoid such sloppy mistakes. He then decided to change his mind at the last minute and that was the final straw. It was my mistake to put up with Aaron's bad behavior but as I was in a time crunch I felt that I had limited options. From the many positives reviews (I assume most of them are real), Aaron does know how to behave like an adult and treat people in a professional and courteous manner. However, if you are one of the people that Aaron decides to show his true and lowly nature to, hang up immediately as this burst hemorrhoid is not worth one second of your time. The only good thing I can say about him is that he gave the retainer back. But I did have to email him for the final installment.
