Because of the bombardment of ads, I had no idea where to turn but Fagan Fagan and Davis was close and I went in. After speaking with Joe Fagan, he was confident and radiated years of experience along with the ability to tell it to me straight, optimistically under promise (does that make sense?) and absolutely over deliver. Going into the office, the building is unimpressive... but don't let it fool you. After speaking with Joe I realized that he is obviously in this to help good people in bad situations and because he loves it. One of the first things he asked me was what were my "must haves" and then what my "nice to haves" were. He then did everything he could to make it happen and absolutely exceeded my expectations exponentially. Nobody is an advocate for drunk driving. It is a bad situation all around. But all I can say is that in a bad situation... when I was at my life's darkest hour, Joe brought a torch and showed me the way back to the light. It was my first brush with the law. It will be my last, and Joe Fagan is the unsung hero who made a huge difference when others were saying I was essentially screwed. Worth every penny. The practice worked as a team... and Joe is a pleasant man with lots of great stories too. I can't more highly recommend him. :)

Avi was patient and carefully explained many details and possible outcomes which clearly demonstrated his knowledge and experience. He was personable on the phone as well as face to face. He represented me at county and city hearings. The county dismissed my case and the city hearing had a favorable outcome. Neither of these results would have been possible without Avi's help. Long overdue but deserving nonetheless. After I was finally ready to place an offer on a condo, I turned to a friend who had made multiple home purchases in Chicago and asked if he could recommend any real estate attorneys. His first and only answer was Avni Shah. As it turned out, my real estate agent recommended her as well. After hearing such high praises, I decided on Avni to help with my purchase. Before closing, negotiations took place including seeking a credit due to problems that arose during the inspection and getting another credit after a 41% increase in the parking space attached to the condo was discovered late in the process. Eventually, she was able to secure both credits from the seller. In addition, I can't speak enough to Avni's communication skills. As a first time home buyer, the process can be intimidating at times but Avni was available over the phone, email, or text to help make sense of any confusing steps. They handled the sale of my home and purchase of a condo, making my tasks relatively effortless as they were on top of all the details. I learned about Bell Law through my realtor and couldn't have been more pleased. I worked with Avni and Dawn and they we're very responsive, and attentive to any questions I had. The purchase we were working on was a short sale in which the selling party/bank was, at times, slow to respond to our requests. I relayed that conversation to Fenceroy, and suggested they follow up (after all I'm paying Fenceroy to manage the closing - I'm not doing it myself). Fast forward to two days before the closing, and I haven't heard an update on the 1031 exchange - I reminded them with an email asking "How is the 1031 going? Everything in order for that?" Fenceroy then responded one day AFTER the closing - too little too late. I was no longer able to complete the 1031 exchange. Because of their negligence I cannot defer the capital gains taxes as intended, which equates to thousands of dollars. There is no repercussion to them for their mistake. I do not recommend them.
