No…read moremore than 5 minutes after my appointment ended I received a friendly phone call from the pharmacy letting me know that I can come by and pick up the ointment because it was ready. I drove there right away and there was plenty of parking available on the street and I quickly parked and went in. I was helped by the same gentleman on the phone and he was great. Instead of $35 as a copay I only had to pay $10. I would come here again if I'm in the area.

I was a little scared. My appointment was with Diego. I had never done the keratin treatment before, but I had my hair japanese straightened once before. About the keratin treatment: WAY simpler and WAY better than I thought it would be. I highly recommend anyone thinking of doing it to do it. I hated my hair after I had it japanese straightened (see my review on Hair Village, gag), but I LOVE my hair with the keratin. Definitely do it. About Diego: He made me nervous because he seemed nervous. The way he touched my hair made me feel like he'd never done it before, and he kept walking away and asking who I assume is Demetris questions. However, he did a great job, and was super nice. I underestimated his talent. He also does a mean blow out. I was impressed. After my appointment I couldn't wash my hair for 3 days. Today I woke up and was finally able to wash my hair, and low and behold the treatment did exactly as it promises. My poofy frizzy hair is soft and beautiful despite the nasty NYC humidity. Long story short: This place is brand new, and does really good work. The salon was cute and clean. I can't speak for any of their other services, but I'm in love with the work they've done on my hair. I absolutely recommend doing the Keratin treatment.
