Trisha answers the phone and answers all your questions in a friendly manner. They have very competitive pricing with individuals selling firewood on Facebook in my research. They offer full or half cords of 100% almond wood, 2/3 Almond and 1/3 Pine, and then a mix with Eucalyptus, and then a cheaper option of skinny rounds. They also offer different lengths of wood to ensure it'll fit in your fireplace so, tip: measure the depth (or longest internal size) of your fireplace before calling so you know what lengths to order. I have bought wood from Johns Firewood for several years. Every year their price goes up (I understand this). This year they took a 30% increase in their price (I understand prices of gas, labor etc. have gone up), but I live on Social Security and my retirement savings. I only received a 8.7 % increase for my Social Security this year, I still have to buy gas and food as well. So I just don't understand why Johns Firewood does not offer a Senior Discount (my income sure did not go up 30%). I will be looking for someone other the Johns Firewood to purchase my firewood this year 2022. I have several neighbors that I have recommended Johns Firewood to in the past, and they have purchased from them, this year they are also looking for someone other than Johns Firewood to purchase their annual firewood from this year. read more

I called them to order a cord of firewood as I just moved to this area, it went to voice mail as it was about 2:30 and they close at 4pm and the message said they would call me back......flash forward 27 hours, no call back! Guess they don't want my business. Called Cutright firewood and go it delivered right away! If this is how you conduct business, then I hope you go out of business!!!! read more

John's firewood is one of the few reliable firewood services, if you order a cord of almond/walnut @ a specific size, that's what you'll get. Prices are competitive, delivery is included in the price and the front office is willing to work with homeowners on access. Because they're reliable in a service that's known for rip off's; order off season or expect to have to wait 2 weeks in inclement weather. read more

I'm definitely a fan of the goods and service offered by John's Firewood Service. My heater went out and couldn't be repaired until the following week.
