Stopped here en route to Buttermilk Falls and stumbled onto their delicious fried fish sandwich! Fresh haddock perfectly battered on a tasty roll. The fish is sold by weight and our sandwiches were between $3.50 and $4.00 each. A very pleasant surprise in an unassuming shop. The ladies at the deli counter were the sweetest. Family owned and operated business for many many years. Located right in the heart of the village. Best high quality meat selections in the whole area. Refreshingly not a chain corporation superstore, I dislike those whole heartedly!! They were hit hard by the flood several years ago, but they still were out there to help the rest of the community.
