It had a mustard stain on the cuff of the sleeve, which I showed to the person at the cash register. He asked if I would like it pre-spotted and I said yes. I went back three days later to pick the shirt up and it had pink spots all over the front and back. I told him that I didn't bring it in this way and he said that it was marked for pre-spotting. The mustard stain was on the cuff - not on the body of the shirt. I was very upset and asked for the manager. A woman came out and said it was documented that it needed pre-spotting. I told her the documentation was for the mustard on the sleeve cuff and she said no it wasn't. I know what I brought into the shop and it wasn't a shirt covered in pink spots. She basically said I was lying! She kept the shirt and said they would try to get the spots out. I asked if the owner would call me. Jennifer, the owner, then calls and says they couldn't get the pink spots out and it came in that way. I DID NOT DROP A SHIRT OF WITH PINK SPOTS ALL OVER IT. If I had I would have taken responsibility and acknowledged it. I asked if she would reimburse me for the cost of a new shirt and she said no. I went to pick the shirt up and they didn't charge me - which to me says they are acknowledging that they messed up. When I picked up the shirt I suggested that they look back at video from their cameras to see what the shirt looked like when I brought it in to prove that I was not lying and that they are the liars. I brought the shirt to them in good faith and acknowledged that there was mustard on the sleeve. I did not expect to have a ruined shirt returned to me. And best of all - the mustard stain on the sleeve was gone. I'm attaching photos of the shirt. A few months ago, I brought a suit in for dry cleaning and when I got the dress shirts back the buttons had some white flakes coming off them. Today I brought my suit in to drop off for cleaning 20 minutes before closing only for the man behind the counter to say "sorry we just closed 5 minutes ago because I want to get out of here early." Not only was he unwilling to accept my drop-off, he seemed extremely unapologetic and out of it (was he sober? I hope so) during the whole conversation, and also twice referenced "it's a Sunday" (it was Tuesday) as if that explains why he decided to close early. Terrible customer service. Due to these interactions, I think I will take my dry cleaning elsewhere from now on. I hope the business is able to clean up their practices in the future!

For a long time, I have been searching for someone who can do a quality job, in a timely manner, and done so at a fair price. John Valher Alterations is now my go to spot. I picked up four pairs of jeans yesterday and dropped off nine more pairs yesterday.
