Truly a horrible experience. We're way too aggressive with my suit, broke every button including the ones on the pants. Didn't even tell me when I picked it up and when I went to wear this for an event, I noticed the buttons had been replaced and on top of that the stitching is horrific that's it's pulling the sleeves. I'm am incredibly disappointed. I have called and not heard back so now leaving this review. Do not go here. read more

Get my work clothes dry cleaned here and anything else I need -Lots of very expensive items. John's has fair prices and always takes great care of my clothes and cleans them well. They are also always ready on time. read more

Excellent service, cleaning and laundering -- and regular discounts. What really separates John's from others is that your clothes and items smell fresh -- other cleaners use the same products to clean and launder many different people's items. John's is different. For those who have complaints, I recommend trying again and appreciating the important differences in what John's provides. read more

Was a long-time, loyal customer to the company this cleaner was before John's took over. Since John's name on the receipts, service quality has plummeted. Prices went up immediately and steeply with John's. Wrong service applied to my garments repeatedly to this moment. The service quality when sometimes correctly applied is lower than had been experienced. I am sadly seeking another go-to. Have absolutely attempted to work with John's and show patience in their transition, but today's selection of trousers from my closet pressed incorrectly again leaves me no choice if I care about the treatment of my garments. read more

Takes forever. Was given a day to pick up dry cleaning and came in on that day and was told to come back in multiple more days? I went back 3 different times they said to and even called to confirm I could come in to get it and got told to come back another time every time. Then to my lovely surprise the third time coming in got told they lost it. read more

Unbelievably bad service. I dropped off my dress - not only did they lose the belt, but made me pay full price for the dry cleaning and did not over any type of compensation to pay for the belt. Will never go back. read more

I was there at 7 this morning, I needed to pick something up for a meeting I had that morning. The sign on the door said open at 7, the website said open at 7, even Google said they open at 7. Well when I called one of the other stores at 7:15, they told me the store I was at was open, then that the person who opens the store usually gets there at about 7:15, then he told me that oh yea, she is running late today. Then I called the main office, and they confirmed that yes, 'she' usually doesn't get there until 7:15, and yes, she was running late. The owner was conveniently absent, I'm *sure* I'll get a call back from him Monday. read more

Dropped off 3 shirts for a job interview on sunday and the girl told me they'd be ready tuesday for my interview on Wednesday. I showed up Tuesday to pick up my shirts and they were ready, although i never received an email saying so until after I picked them up. I'd give more stars, except there was quite a line (apparently they lost another customer's order) and there was nothing extraordinary about this dry cleaner, other than they were on time and my shirts were clean. read more

Overpriced dry cleaning, but I suppose that's the price we pay for living in Boulder. We had two suits cleaned and a shirt. The shirt was starched improperly, and both suits were returned to us with cat hair--a first for me! The location is convenient so I'll probably be back, but begrudgingly. read more

They were closed at 6 when they didn't close till 7. And I was back at open and they still weren't open. Now I am left without a suit. I only have 1 suit, leaving me in a super awkward situation. read more

I can't speak to their dry cleaning abilities but don't ever have them do alterations for you. They farm out this part of the business so you will never know what you're going to pay. The cost to hem 2 shirts was over $40! I left one of the shirts there. I was told that someone would call me the next day to discuss a resolution but of course, no one ever did. Since John's is a basic, chain dry cleaner, I didn't expect prices like this. It's partially my fault: I should have inquired about the price beforehand. But when I take in 7 items: 1 dress shirt, 1 two-piece suit, and 4 basic women's shirts, and the total comes to $46? That is too much. I'll go elsewhere next time. By all other accounts, they did a fine job: the service was good, quick turnaround, no issues with the cleaning. But I can get a similar job for half the price elsewhere...and that's what I'll do next time. read more

I'm about to head out on a trip. I brought in three dress shirts to be laundered with medium starch and folded. The guy who took my order gave me the wrong date. Not a big problem, came back the next day. A very nice young lady gave me my shirt on hangers. If they were starched, I could not perceive it. I told them repeatedly to fold my sweaters over hangers so that the shoulders wouldn't get stretched out. A dry cleaner should know this anyway. They put my request in their "system" and failed to follow through 3 times. I think I gave them enough of a chance. Also, they are lazy, and cannot get stains out properly. They are a mediocre neighborhood dry cleaner. After they screwed up so many times with no refund or apology, here I am on yelp. read more

$30.00 for three pieces? You have got to be kidding me. I don't understand why dry cleaning is so dang expensive in Boulder. In any other respectable city, shirts are maybe a few dollars. This is basically highway robbery disguised as being green and eco-friendly. read more

I have frequented this place for about a year now and it is clear that they do not deserve any more of my patronage. They have repeatedly failed to get simple stains out, even after they had been marked, and that alone should be reason enough to find another dry cleaners. However it is the piss-poor attitude of the woman who works there that has driven me away. She is ALWAYS on the phone when you enter, takes her time fiddling around on the computer before assisting you -in fact she doesn't even acknowledge your presence for at least five minutes after you come in, even if there is no one else there. I guess I cannot express how shocked I am that someone in a service business could be so surly, curt and just all around incredibly rude. It was time to move on awhile ago, and that lady needs to find another job-one where she doesn't need to interact with people! read more
