July 17, 2018. Is this caterer still in business?

It is doubtful. Unfortunately, Kristen recently passed away. She was a super amenable lady, and a great cook. She catered our wedding in 2011. We are foodies from Los Angeles. The food was excellent and we still remember it to this day as do…

When you pull up into the parking lot first impressions are not great. Neat and tidy won't come to mind and I'll leave it at that. Inside the restaurant it looks OK. The lady that is hostess and server is friendly, attentive, and helpful. We are not novices when it comes To BBQ and we went with the family style platter for two ($50.00) and chose ribs, brisket, and sausage for our meats. The ribs and brisket were outstanding, 5 out of 5. The sausage was OK, 3 out of 5. Their BBQ sauce is very nice; well balanced. We did not care for the cole slaw or the Mac and cheese. The kettle chips were OK. The corn bread was dry and tasteless, took one bite and left it. I would definitely go back for the ribs and brisket.

Hush puppies were fine, but we noticed we did eat them all. There can be a bit of frantic energy there, but Brie made sure we were dialed in and everything went well. We got take out and it was pretty seamless. We saw there were some outside tables, but as we got take out we can't really comment on the atmosphere. Would get it again. 8oz of brisket was a good size portion for one. Half rack of ribs fed 2. If you do take out, call ahead to make sure there isn't a wait. It might help to time your order.
