Pizza was delicious and fresh. Cooked just right. Nice thin and crispy crust. Have not had a bad pizza here.

My order: All the way large pizza and an antipasto. The pizza was thin and crispy, the veggies and meat were delicious! The dough has a hint of sweetness. I usually order from Paisanos, but this will be my go to for pizza in SE Ocala! I highly recommend this place. It is super small so takeout only is recommended. read more

This is the best pizza in Ocala area easy. Its also better than anything Gainsvilles got. Got two pizza's (cheese, and Pizza Margherita) and have been looking for a decent slice since moving down here. They should charge more, but are just not in the right area. If they where downtown Ocala they would be getting 16-20 dollars a medium pie. From what I see owner makes all his pies. I'm pretty excited I finally have pizza I can enjoy. If its any reference I think it would be in the 8s on one bite pizza reviews which means it crushes. read more

NY style pizza. Much better than big chain pizza places which is the bulk of what we have in the Shores. It is tucked away behind Christina's Deli - take out only (I think). My son travels around, including NY & New Haven & says Johnny's Puzza is on par with the good ones. That is rare in Ocala. read more

This place is AMAZING! I've never had a pizza so well made. Pizzas are usually so soggy from the grease and the cheese. NOT at Johnny's Pizzeria. I ate a 10" pizza and it was crispy from start to end. My aunt ordered a white pizza, hers was also crispy from start to end. The people commenting this pizza is the closest thing to an authentic New York-style pizza isn't kidding. It is indeed. I'm coming back guaranteed. Not knowing what to expect, we decided to give a local pizzeria a chance over the national chain pizza restaurants. The price was right and the pizza was huge. And the taste was great. Not only is the food amazing but Johnny and the crew always make you feel like part of the family when you come in.

Absolutely FN ridiculous, placed an order here and was told 1 1/2 hrs and it turned into 2 1/2 to 3 Hrs. This is the second time this has happened to us. We called to check on the order and for the second time we were told sorry we're busy. I am done with this place, simple math should get you close to a delivery time. Maybe we had to wait for the NY water delivery. Sad, decent pizza crappy management!! read more

I can't say enough about how impressed I am w/ Johnny's Pizzaria. I recently moved to an area where *no other company* would deliver to (for some idiotic reason) even though it's barely out of their "delivery area". Fine, you wanna lose customers over a few feet that's fine w/ me. When I called Johnny's to ask if they would deliver, the quick answer was *sure!*. Now, I am disabled and it's very tough for me to get around, so I had an unusual request if the driver would be able to either pick up or bring a bag of ice. The answer, *sure! but it'll be a little less than an hour, is that okay?* *SURE!* was my reply : ) Within the hour the friendly, very courteous driver was here w/ great New York style pizza *and* a bag of ice that he stopped and bought right by my house (smart kid, no melting ice in his vehicle ; ) and then, even helped me further by retrieving some items from my vehicle so I wouldn't have to endure walking that far. Now, not many companies are customer oriented anymore, they all *SAY* that they are, but when it comes down to it, "too bad, we're sorry, blah blah blah".....Johnny's Pizzaria has *earned* my loyalty, and I will straight up tell anyone that asks. read more

I thought I'd had good pizza before, but then I found Johnny's, and forgot all those other pizzas. It's almost hidden behind Cristina's Deli (also very good, family-owned) on Maricamp Road. The location couldn't be more obscure but it is worth searching for. Fabulous crust, rich, authentic sauce, toppings lavishly applied. They make the pizzas in front of you and the banter is always entertaining. Go to Johnny's once, and you'll be back. There is no dining room to speak of, so order to pick up, or have it delivered. read more

I really wanted to like this place; small, family-operated pizzeria using New York water to provide a better crust. However, their pizza fell short. My husband and I have ordered from them 3 times and each time the pizza has been soggy and overly greasy. We didn't even order extra cheese or any other extra toppings that would weight the pizza down and make it soggy. The garlic knots are nothing to brag about either. The garlic knots are swimming in oil to the point the garlic and Parmesan doesn't even stick to them. No thanks. read more
