They listened to my concerns, helped me with my birth plan, and really let me be in control over all my options and decisions. They helped guide and prep me for the natural unmedicated birth that I wanted, and gave me plenty of information to take home and look over. Pregnancy and delivery can be an overwhelming experience, but they made it so much easier. When it came to delivery, I wouldn't have been able to follow through with my birth plan without them. They kept me going when I felt like giving up, and they made sure that they did all they could to keep me and the baby healthy. I am forever grateful for their hard work and patience

After having the typical office visits and finding out how much my high deductible insurance was going to cost monthly with them and their unwillingness to work with other payment plans, I looked into other birthing methods. I won't lie, the price was the leading factor. However, once I found out there is a birthing center near me I KNEW I had to check it out and I'm so very glad I did. My boyfriend wasn't as keen on the idea but was open to meeting them because he knew how excited I was over it. We met with one of the midwives and she more than answered my long list of questions. She reassured him as well so that he became excited at this experience also. I haven't given birth here yet but I'm down to bi-weekly appointments now with baby due mid-July. I've meet all of the midwives at DeLand except for Kaleen but have an appointment set up with her for later in the month. Everyone has been great so far; it's so opposite from the typical hospital visit and I love that. The atmosphere is so much better than being at a hospital. My greatest worry? That I DON'T end up giving birth here for some reason.

It started with a UTI, which she was able to treat. But things kept going in strange directions, new symptoms, lots of Dr's. Thtough it all, she kept telling me "I don't know what's wrong, but something IS wrong" Held my hand as I navigated the medical maze & finally got an answer: a large tumor on my kidney! Ended up having to have a nephrectomy...and who shows up in the operating room before I was knocked out? Dr. Grace! She truly cares about her ladies.​

My appointment was canceled the morning of, even though I'd been getting reminders to complete paperwork just hours before. I was told I was notified, but I checked--there was no call or email. I had forgotten Dr. Amore moved locations. The new address was mentioned only once in an email--no clear reminder for patients who had been going to the same location for years. I showed up late after going to the old office, then rushed to the new one, but was still turned away--no apology, just "Dr. Amore is on call." No one called to check when I didn't show up, either. The manager lectured me that it's an OB office and Dr. Amore is on call. Still, I've never missed an appointment. Maybe do not schedule annual visits the same day she is on call. It was disappointing that Dr. Amore didn't seem concerned I didn't show up. I have patients myself, and when my loyal ones no-call/no-show, I worry. It's hard not to take this personally--especially when this is the doctor who delivered my child.

I could tell she actually tried to learn a little about me before walking in the room and I appreciated not having to repeat myself. If I could give zero stars, I would…read more This practice's complete failure to communicate and submit required paperwork cost me my maternity leave benefits--not once, but twice. My disability insurance company repeatedly requested clarification and documentation from this office. They faxed requests, left voicemails, and followed up multiple times over the course of months. I also called repeatedly, sent messages through the patient portal, emailed the office, and even had my benefits administrator contact them directly. Despite all of those attempts, the paperwork was never completed in a timely manner. This wasn't a delay of a few days or even a week. My claim dragged on for months because this office simply would not respond. As a result, my claim was denied twice due to missing documentation that only my OB's office could provide. Eventually after countless email follow ups, faxed forms, ignored calls, voicemails ect CWC provided shoddy paperwork with misspellings, typos and unanswered questions. (The claim started in May, they sent the final paperwork over on July 23). This was a slap in the face. I had just delivered a 25-week premature baby who spent months in the NICU. Instead of being able to focus on my son and recover from an incredibly traumatic birth, I spent months chasing paperwork, making countless phone calls, sending emails, leaving messages, and begging this office to do the bare minimum. The emotional and financial stress this caused was completely unnecessary and avoidable. To make matters worse, I was frequently given conflicting information, told that everything had been handled when it had not, and my repeated requests for updates went unanswered. It became clear that no one was taking ownership of my case or communicating internally. An OB practice doesn't just deliver babies--they continue caring for patients during one of the most vulnerable times of their lives. Completing disability and leave paperwork accurately and promptly is part of that responsibility. This office failed spectacularly. If your livelihood depends on this office completing insurance, disability, FMLA, or maternity leave paperwork, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I would never trust this practice to handle anything time-sensitive again.

When I suggested she went into a wrong room she stated, Dr morning left a year ago to work in the hospital. I was annoyed to say the least being staff had ample of time to inform me so I can make the decision to keep my yearly appointment or cancel. Either way , I will not return back since the level of attentiveness is not the same with this Dr compared to Dr Morning.

The whole staff was fantastic but we want to especially give a Special thank you & recognition to Nurses Robyn & Colleen!! Both super special women! They were informative, kind, patient, encouraging & alwaysssss available through the process. Together we were a TEAM- we are forever grateful for the love they showed during my daughters 2 & 1/2 days of labor. The hospital is clean, lots of birthing options, kind & respectful nurses who put YOUR needs first & never try to push anything on you that's not in your plan.
