Context: I have a giant property management company trying to avoid taking the necessary steps to re-lease my apartment in a timely manner after I had to relocate, and got some great advice for how to proceed. I've gathered a folder of evidence (videos of the unit, saved conversations, and screenshots) showing that I've acted in good faith while the management company hasn't, left the unit in move-in-ready condition, and followed the steps recommended by this firm in the interim -- so I don't expect them to waste their time trying to escalate, but if they do, then I'll certainly give Michael a call as he appears to be someone who cares.

So essentially, I got pretty shoddy service while he got an additional $7K for not very good representation. I do not recommend.

Moumita is extremely experienced and knowledgeable. Most importantly, what we appreciated with her was that she is a straight-shooter and does not overpromise / set the wrong expectations. She will give you the most realistic sense of expectations from the process so you can make decisions accordingly and there are no unexpected "surprises". In particular, when embassies around the world closed during COVID, Moumita was very helpful in guiding us and even helped us put together a request to expedite due to health-related reasons which was the reason my wife was able to immigrate in the middle of a pandemic when immigration was on pause. It felt like we pulled off a miracle, and Moumita was central to it all. Another point I would make is, I chose Moumita based on Yelp reviews of several lawyers. She stood out. This was about 3 years ago. Many times businesses don't maintain customer service quality as they expand and grow but judging from all the latest Yelp reviews (and my own personal experience), it is clear that Moumita and her team have kept up their standards. I would highly recommend Moumita to anyone reading this.

I have paid $400 for a consultation with another law firm and had no problem doing so because I was able to speak directly with an attorney and receive answers to my questions. Here, I paid for a consultation but was only able to speak with a sales team. Before signing a contract, I could not speak directly with a lawyer or get meaningful answers to important questions about my case. That is what made this experience frustrating. simple questions you may wait days I have had four or five consultations with other law firms in the past, and this was by far the least helpful and least client-focused experience. In my opinion, the firm should spend less time on YouTube and Instagram marketing and more time communicating with potential clients and addressing their legal concerns.

Alex gave me a call just a few hours later that evening, the office sent me an engagement letter the next day, I was going over my contract with Laura later that same week. Of course I reviewed the contracts myself, however I don't know what I don't know. On our phone appointment, Laura walked me through every paragraph to make sure I understood it all correctly and made sure to add in what I needed before sending a drafted revision. By the end, I was comfortable with what we drafted and I signed the contracts. I recently worked with her again, and the process was seamless. I had a very last minute opportunity and needed the contract reviewed quickly. I actually forgot to send her a copy of the contract ahead of time and sent it in minutes before our phone appointment. She was able to look it over anyway and we continued with our phone appointment as scheduled! We had our phone appointment on a Friday and she had the drafted revision back to me on Monday. I did not expect the turnaround to be so quick, but I am grateful that it was. The initial fee was $1200 I believe (I had 1 contract and a second smaller contract). It would've been a bit less if only had the one contract to go over. The second time I was given a discount as a returning client, around $800. Worth every penny in my opinion. All of my communication with Granovsky & Sundaresh has been pleasant and efficient. I'd absolutely recommend working with Laura. She's personable, friendly, and quick to respond.
