Kristie worked with us one-on-one to find the perfect home in or near Monroe. She took us to several places, some charming, some heartbreakingly just out of reach, but she wouldn't quit until we found the place that suited us. One morning, we were scheduled to take a tour of a few condos, and just before we were to meet, Kristie called us and told us about a home that had just hit the market that morning, and she felt we should check it out first. Well, guess what? We moved in one month later, and four months in, it's so much better for us than any of the other homes we'd drooled over previously. Dave handled the official business: putting our offer on paper, working with the sellers' agent, communicating about the inspection and appraisal and so much more. He made everything very easy to understand, which was really nice considering my wife and I were new to the whole home-buying process. Dave and Kristie also advocated for us when an issue arose at closing... the escrow company made a bad call and the Brays handled the problem since we didn't know how to. Talk about above and beyond. Give them a call! You're risking a headache if you go with anyone else!

Derek from DK Excavation came out did an outstanding job. The work was done fast, clean, and with great attention to detail. He wasn't the cheapest bid but he came with ideas, a plan, options to get quality dirt for grass growing (some of the best dirt I have ever seen) hydro seeding. Bottom line the results and experience were 100% worth it. One of the stumps turned out to be much larger and more difficult to remove than expected, but Derek was incredibly fair and reasonable in working through it. He didn't take shortcuts, kept me informed the whole time, and made sure everything was done right to admittedly my very particular expectations . The regrading looks great, and the property is back to normal (better and more usable space than before) and the grass came in fast and thick. It's rare these days to find someone who is both skilled and genuinely fair in business, but Derek is exactly that. I highly recommend DK Excavation to anyone who needs stump removal, grading, or any kind of excavation work. Just a solid, honest company that does great work.

I had a property manager who did not tell me there was a pet agreement and the tenants had a large…read moredog inside the house (my former neighbors and friends advised me of the situation). The tenants moved out, the property manager purported to do a walk-thru inspection assuring the tenants that they had cleaned and restored the property to pre-move-in status. I came in before the 15 day time limit on release of disposition of the deposit, took pictures of my filthy, hideously pet and smoke-damaged property, and confronted the property manager with the list of damages. The property manager rescinded her inspection report, and I received the damage deposit which only paid for a fraction of the damage. I then fired the property manager. The reason I am telling this story is because Lorie with New Concepts is the property manager I hired to replace the above-mentioned, so-called, property manager. Lorie was very helpful in the initial negotiations with the former property manager. Her experience, know-how, and common-sense approach saved me from getting into a potentially harmful predicament with the former tenants and the former property manager. Lorie found a long-term tenant, and they moved in within 45 days of vacancy. Upon examination of Lorie's assessment of the new tenants' rental history and credit-worthiness, I allowed a small dog pet agreement for the new tenants. I have had the opportunity to perform repairs on the house and found the tenants to be clean, fastidious, and respectful people. I couldn't be happier, and I have Lorie to thank for it.

Lori Kesler was a fraud in 2008 and I see she is still the owner per reviews. When I had to get an…read moreattorney, I saw the application New Concepts used when renters applied. The application was very incomplete, yet it was accepted by Lori. The applicant (who never paid rent and trashed some things) didn't even put where she worked, or any references. I had a no-dog rule due to occasional FEMA floods, but New Concepts allowed 2 huge pitbulls that killed the brand new pet of a neighbor, as well as chickens. The may have killed other pets which I would not know. I only sadly found out about the one cat years later. The pitbulls wrecked 2 wood doors to the shed, and ruined a nice camper which was stored there. They left the dogs in horribly overheated conditions in the camper. Only one renter applied, a female, but New Concepts allowed a male felon with active arrest warrants to move in as well. These renters never paid rent and also made death threats on a neighboring lot where I was having a small home built. Because of their death threats, the developer backed out of a deal that would have paid off my student loans. The renters were uppity, insisting I fix the tub even though they had a shower and had not paid rent in 4 months. I fixed it, to avoid controversy. Then they decided to try to bring me down economically so that they could live there forever without paying rent. Through neighbors, they found out where I worked and they called the security department there and claimed falsely that I had accessed an account of theirs with no business reason. Of course, I was cleared of any wrong doing, but they inconvenienced me and my employer terribly. They found out where I lived, and canvassed the neighborhood telling everyone false lies about me. I had to pay for a restraining order against them. They were so bad in court that the Marshall had to warn them to behave in court. They wanted me to have no job and no references so they could sit in my rental without being challenged (I guess until it would have foreclosed, who knows what these "renters" were thinking). I was able to get the felon arrested on his warrants. I evicted them and won a small, expedient judgment, which they did not pay. I sent it to collections and they still did not pay. New Concepts failed to screen my tenant and all in all, with eviction fees, I was out $7000 plus property damage and my neighbor's pet was killed by their dogs. When Lorie found out how bad her chosen tenants were, I asked her to help me get rid of them. She said, "We no longer serve your area" and stopped doing business. Fortunately her employee had a little more integrity than that, so he did help me get them out, along with my realtor and the eviction company. He helped make sure the place was clean, although the shed and RV were very damaged. I see now that those renters have gone to court over domestic violence. Not surprised. Shame on Lori for letting someone move in who could hardly write let alone fill out an application. And shame on her for not getting those dogs and the felon out of there.

He did everything he could to make it simple and easy on us as first time home buyers that knew absolutely nothing about buying a house. We had tried to other Realtors and lost numerous bids that we put on houses. I finally just thought it would be fun to give me to try because he was here in our town and I figured he would know exactly what was a good deal and what was out there. Then in a great conversation we had I found out that Mitch sold all the houses that we put bids on because he knew what he was doing. I am certain there are many many satisfied customers of Mitch but no one ever seems to write anything positive on these web sites. Trust me when you're trying to buy a house these days you want someone that is going to be aggressive rather than some Realtor that's going to sit by and let someone else buy the house from underneath the client. My husband and I are both very satisfied with Ruth Realty and Mitch. He is a really great guy. He is also funny easy to work with and very very hard worker. He will meet with you late at night, early in the he morning or on the weekend. Whatever he has to do to get the job done to get your house for you. We thank you very much for being so honest along the way in our house buying. Sometimes people just don't want to hear the truth and that makes people angry. We really appreciate you Mitch, thanks!
