Started with Aspen Dental doing a credit check, which was supposed to be a soft pull...It was not,…read moreit was a hard pull that drove my credit score down. They purmt my payment on a City Bank Syncrony card with a very high interest rate. The entire amount was put on a card with a 20+ percent interest charge. I transfered that total to a card with a much lower rate. My upper dentures were being modified to accommodate my mouth structure. The pallet had to be continually recovered to prevent gag-reflux. Finally got to the point when a tech there told me that an upper denture would never work properly. I demamanded an review with the Dr. and the office manager. They decided to reimburse me a percentage of my cost, which was, again, paid in full. I since went elsewhere and now have teeth that work perfectly well, but I still have a monthly payment of thousands left that I still have to pay for the work Aspen Dental couldn't complete. I get upset every month when I make that payment, and equally upset that it was a tech, not the dentist that finally told me that my procedure would never work properly. Please take heed if you need dentures or partials. Let Aspen Dental be your LAST desperate resort. M.Morningstar

I am 6 months pregnant and went into this office with severe tooth pain. I had medical clearance…read morefrom my OBGYN for an extraction and spoke with the assistant, Patricia, multiple times beforehand. When I arrived, she wasn't necessarily rude, but definitely not welcoming or compassionate either. From the start, Patricia and Dr. Yousef rushed through the procedure. They did not allow enough time for the anesthesia to fully work. I told them I could still feel pressure and pain, and they brushed it off as "normal." What followed was the most traumatizing and painful dental experience of my life--I was literally screaming and crying while they extracted my tooth, fully aware of the pain I was in, while I am visibly 6 months pregnant. Instead of slowing down and being gentle, Patricia repeatedly told me to "stay calm," which felt incredibly dismissive given what I was going through. I've had years of dental work done--braces for 5 years, six wisdom teeth pulled at once--and nothing compares to how excruciating and careless this procedure was. When it was over, Patricia just handed me a bag and said, "Okay, you're finished." The doctor never spoke to me about aftercare, nor was I prescribed any pain medication. I left in tears and sat in my car crying for an hour afterwards. This was hands down the worst dental experience I've ever had. They were inconsiderate, impatient, and careless, and I would not recommend this office to anyone--especially expecting mothers. The regular office is wonderful. But the oral surgery office in building 3, was a nightmare.

As an adult in my mid-40's, I haven't found a single dentist in my entire adult life that I trusted…read moreto not mess up my teeth. Since leaving pediatric dentistry at the age of 16, I've had a string of horrific dentists that messed up my teeth more and more over the years. We're talking, dentists that supposedly fixed cavities, only to find more cavity growing under their fillings, which then got replaced by even worse fillings. I learned of Lieske & Nondorf from a neighbor of mine...no exaggeration at all, they have changed my life even beyond dental health! They have fixed every decades old dental issue I had, and shockingly they also found the root cause of my unusual recurring allergic reactions that have been a mystery to all of my doctors and dermatologists for over 15 years! My first appointment with Dr. Gary Nondorf, he took one look at my mouth and asked me if I happened to have a metal allergy. I practically yelled "yes!!!" in his face. That was the pivotal moment in my life!! That one question connected years and years of numerous biopsies and tests into one single root cause....he identified that given the ages of my crowns, they all contained nickel. I've been very allergic to nickel since infancy! He started the process of replacing my bad fillings (which fixed all of my inflamed gum issues) and replacing my old nickel laced crowns with all porcelein. He even went so far as to custom make a plastic core for my root canal to avoid filling my tooth with a post that he knew contained metal! As he has replaced my old crowns, my recurring allergic reactions are becoming less common and less severe. I cannot even come close to expressing my gratitude for this entire office. Every single staff member has been an absolute pleasure! I have since changed jobs and insurance companies and they are no longer a provider, but I absolutely pay the extra out of pocket to stay with them...they're that good. Go to Lieske & Nondorf, you will not be disappointed!!

I was not told when I scheduled a new patient appointment for an exam and cleaning that this is done over two appointments, not was I told what my insurance would and would not cover. Very poor communication after having to call multiple times because my messages requesting an appointment were ignored. The first hygienist was wonderful, and I asked her if they make TMJ splints. I was diagnosed with TMJ 23 years ago, and the splint/night guard I was wearing recently broke. I scheduled another appointment for impressions, one of which had to be redone because that hygienist messed up. When I went back to get my splint, the sides were too long and the front was too short, which meant I would have choked on it unless I used denture adhesive to glue it to my teeth at bedtime. The dentist condescendingly told me it was an "occlusal guard" and not a TMJ splint. An "occlusal guard" is prescribed for clenching and grinding, which ARE TMJ symptoms, but whatever. HE told me HE would refund my money and gave me a snidely worded referral to another provider. I had to speak to the practice manager about my refund, which she told me would be in the form of a check within 6-8 weeks. That's not how I paid, and I had to pay in full before I could have impressions taken, but I was told that's my only option. I will not set foot into any of their offices again. Their communication is poor, their providers have God complexes, and the office manager apparently has no authority to resolve issues.
