We met, we talked, we saw his work and in an instant knew he was our photographer. With our custom-made package, he offered us a free engagement session. Not only was he very nice and professional (he kept a nice relaxed atmosphere throughout the wedding day), he is also very accommodating and oh-so-efficient. We were able to view our digital proofs online a few days after both the engagement and wedding shoots. Then, the DVD (with rights to make copies) and prints arrived in the mail a few days later! It's been over a month since the wedding but I still love seeing the photos because there's a nice mixture of fun and more formal shots. We saw many photographers, even pricey ones, with cheesy pictures taken in unnatural angles. We really like Jose's pictures because the poses were natural and original, taken in posed and candid forms. The colors were also very vibrant. We were VERY happy with the pictures that Jose captured from our wedding. We were also very appreciative of his quick turn-around time. After figuring the amount of time, photo's and video needed, Paul was able to quote an estimate along with how much of a down payment was needed to book the Date n Time of the event in question. Of course there are many add ons you can request as far as flowers, lei's etc. All for nominal fees. We're thrilled at what we received for dollars spent. Paul was also able to make it to our rehearsal at Church. This allowed him to get a feel for the layout an ask questions as far as church etiquette is concerned. He was professionally exceptional ! When the big day came it was so comforting to know it was all being documented with Pics. and Video by professionals. He brought a couple extra photographers to assist him document our Nuptials. While the photography session itself is technically "free," be prepared to be subject to predatory conditions: you are required to pay a ~$150 "booking deposit" and sit through a mandatory follow-up Zoom appointment to actually get your portrait. The entire process was packed with passive-aggressive upselling, including an upfront warning that if I needed an additional Zoom meeting to finalize my portrait(s), there would be an extra $200 fee associated. He also insisted that I invite my significant other to the follow-up session to ensure that "all decision-makers" were present. This felt extremely patronizing and misogynistic, especially since I had already explained to him that I would be making the decision for my household and that additional input was unnecessary. During our follow-up Zoom call about a week after the session, Kevin spent a good part of the time stalling. After a frustrating 25 minutes of having to sit through Kevin's emotionally manipulative tactics, I let him know that I would need to leave the call early in 10 minutes and asked if we could expedite this process, at which point his "friendly" demeanor instantly changed. He told me that he would be keeping my deposit and charging me $200 to reschedule. I made it clear that I was no longer interested in his services, meaning there would be no need for an additional meeting, and asked for my deposit to be refunded. After a tense back-and-forth, Kevin reluctantly agreed to refund my money. While I understand that he blocked off an hour of his time, the stalling I experienced during my thirty-five minutes on the call felt like a setup to force me into that extra $200 meeting in hopes of selling me an overpriced, lackluster product. His constant claims of "not trying to sell me anything" while very obviously trying to sell me something were exhausting. This business relies on holding your deposit hostage, stalling to pressure you into additional fees/products, and using emotional blackmail over your pet. Save your time and stay far away!!!!!!

We're not models--we're not really familiar with angles, posing, etc. I found Jason on a whim while browsing tagged wedding vendors on Instagram. I knew that I wanted photography that was moody (not overexposed/bright) and had natural posing direction (not every shot smiling to camera but not posing direction that felt overdone). While browsing Jason's website portfolio and his IG, I actually got a bit teary-eyed because of how beautiful his shots were. He and his team have a great eye for shot composition as well as capturing genuine emotion. I also love that the photos have a film-like quality to them. Since my bridesmaids and I had to get ready in town in a relatively small hotel room at 6am before driving over to the windward side, I decided to just have photography start at the ceremony site (rather than having getting ready photos). It was also my first time getting hair and makeup professionally done so it ended up being nice to have some "private" time rather than feeling internal pressure to be "on"/camera ready from 6am. Jason and Mitch were great to work with on the day of and made sure that we felt comfortable throughout the day. Mitch was great at assisting me with holding my bouquet (for photos but also so I could eat/get some sips of water) as well as gathering/laying out my wedding dress train. If this is your first time getting photographed, definitely make sure to practice pausing/holding poses during key moments of your ceremony and reception (like your first kiss, hugging parents, etc.) for five seconds so that the photographers have enough time to capture the moment! It might feel awkward but your guests won't notice and photos are forever!
