Most victims tend to eventually lose their teeth and end up with dentures. This patient was referred to Dr. McLaurin for some extractions. She is a disabled person and experiences chronic pain daily from many symptoms. She had to reschedule an appt once with his office. They didn't like it and when she rescheduled it the office scheduler gave her a MONDAY appt for spitefulness and retaliation knowing their office is closed on Mondays. Once when she was there for a procedure, we heard Dr. McLaurin make a derogatory remark about the patient just outside the door. This behavior is totally unethical and unacceptable. To mistreat a sick person is very low. I wouldn't take a dog to Dr. McLaurin. I would hope some of his office staff is above this level of humanity.

I made an appointment first thing in the morning at 8 AM on a Friday when I show up after driving 45 minutes from Lexington for my appointment and give them my insurance they say that they cannot accept the insurance and that they have to reschedule me another month out in advance. Instead of calling and telling me this before, I drove the 45 minutes I had to get to Georgetown and find out in person afterwards. Again, I've never necessarily had any issues except for over pricing and insurance, but I feel like this could've used a phone call and save saved everybody a lot of time

But I was taking care of a dying mother so I really didn't take time to ask too many questions so when I went back 6 months later I asked about those and I was just told my insurance didn't pay for that. So essentially they were letting them right out of my head until they could give me the dentures that Medicaid will pay for. I found a way to pay for a grand out of pocket to get crowns put on to the teeth that needed it. And those didn't even get sealed properly you can feel the seam with the tongue. I didn't know that shouldn't be how it is. I went back to ask a dentist who was substituting the day I was there about why I didn't feel exactly right he tapped on my tooth, to ask me if it hurt, and when it didn't he said you're fine then. Good to go. I recommend going to third and smiles over by kroger. They're not cheap but they actually do quality work. Mortenson messed me up very well. If I ever end up having to be on Medicaid again, I'll do something else or just not go at all. You might as well not. Let them right out of your head until you need dentures. That's what they're going to do.

First rate service and everyone is very friendly and in good cheer. PPE adorned and it was eyes meet eyes but that was enough. My tooth was xray'd a plan was explained and the procedure was done and I can smile again! Everything was detailed and the cost very reasonable. The hygienist came in smelling of strong cigarettes smell . Ground on my teeth for about 3 minutes rinsed with water sent me on my way. No cleaning in between with the dental pick tool, no polishing, no flossing. my teeth feel grimier than before I went in. I do not want new caps, I do not want my old feelings replaced, I do not want a night gard, I do not want a fancy electric toothbrush. I just want a descent cleaning is that to much to ask for?
