Dr. Cho is a nice dentist, however, he greatly LACKs experience to do fine dental work. I paid over $3,500 for 3 crowns, one cracked and he replaced. The lab he uses is very cheap and crowns do not fit correctly. Spent many return visits with him. He charges like an elite experienced dentist. He is a rookie, and will be getting his training on your mouth. I have two large food traps inbetween fillings he placed into my mouth. Everytime I eat, I have to tug, floss, and work to get the food out of my teeth. Find someone more experienced. read more

This is the best dentist office I've ever been too!. Everyone is so welcoming, polite and helpful. That begins as soon as you walk in the door, with the young ladies at the front desk. They give you much attention and put a good vibe in the office. And when I was called in and helped by the assistant (Martha), she was very knowledgeable and educated me with everything I needed to know. Something I haven't received at other offices. And the doctor was very helpful as well. Very polite and took his time to give me an understanding of what I need to do to have healthier teeth. Not only is he skilled at what he does-I've had fillings, crowns, an extraction, and even an implant done, his personality and demeanor immediately put me at ease. Dr. Cho is amazing! I was referred by a friend and I can see why she trusts him so much. He goes over everything and is very informative and answered all of my questions. I didn't feel rushed and he was super patient with me. He really knows what he's talking about! He worked on a tooth that was infected and treated it with a root canal and replaced a missing tooth with an implant. He fixed my front teeth and smile. Man oh man .... I was terrified of the dentist and was due to getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. I almost had this same procedure done at Western Dental but cmon... really? I just moved to LB and came in for a 1st time appt and he recommended tons of dental work, 2 crowns and 3 fillings. This was a bit suspicious because I had no issues at my previous dentist just 6 months before. He gave me a price for what insurance would not cover which he claimed was "discounted." However I naively trusted him. After half way completing the work, when I come in for my second appointment and I have temporary crowns on, the office says that I actually owe more money from more of what insurance would not cover. This seemed like a total scam- what could I do? Not pay and just have temporary crowns? I paid the rest but will not return and cannot recommend this office to anyone- scam billing in dentistry should be a criminal offense. read more

When I entered the office I was greeted by Dr. Cho personally. He provided me with paperwork to complete then said he would meet with me when it was completed...surprise...he did! He was friendly and caring as was his assistant who worked with me. The atmosphere in the office was warm and laughter from other patients could be heard throughout. Neither Dr. Cho nor his staff left you sitting or waiting...they were providing consistent attention to every patient. I am giving 2 stars for following reasons 1. When I had scheduled my cleaning appointment I was told the fee wouldbe $100 But when I got there i was asked to pay $125.when I questioned that the charge reduced to $105. I was told extra $5 was the in rease they had. 2. I have asked the dental hygenist twice to provide copy of my teeth that show deep pockets and both times she forgot to do that. 3. During my first visit the dental hygenist did a great job cleaning my teeth. However. during this visit I felt she rushed and did not do a good job . 4. After the cleaning was complete She asked me to wait because she Said the doctor wanted to see me. I waited few minutes and asked when was the doctor going to show up? She said it will take a little long time. No explanation why did the doctor wanted to see me I didnot want to wait for little long time and left. I gave 3 stars because the receptionist and the hygenist were nice and looked happy. They took me in early when I requested without any complaints. Very clean office i may go there again to get my teeth cleaned and hope the hygenist will do a great job As she did the first time. Thank you read more

Decided to go here not only because of my insurance, but also the Yelp reviews. It was a great experience. I'm sure no one enjoys coming to the dentist but it was so comfortable. Everybody in the office seems to love what they do and genuinely care about making patients feel comfortable and satisfied. I had my reservations about coming to this office because it's a little out of my price range but I do not regret coming here at all. My current dentist is completely closed due to Covid 19. A few weeks ago I started having horrible pain in my tooth. The pain spread to my jaw and my neck. I started contacting local dentists to see if anyone would see me (many of them said no). Dr. Cho's office immediately returned my message and let me come in. I don't know what I would have done if they didn't take me in. This was the worst tooth pain I have ever experienced. I needed antibiotics and a root canal. I am now pain free and all healed! I am so grateful for Dr. Cho and his staff. They are very helpful and did everything they could to make me feel calm and relaxed during the root canal. This is as good as it gets for a dentist's office. I made an appointment online, they called me back right away. Easy to find, large free parking lot. Clean office, latest technology, nice and professional staff. Lindsay, one of the dental hygienists (sp?) was accommodating, nice, and very professional. Dr. Cho was the exact same. Quick, efficient, professional, and all the while explaining everything in a non-judgmental way (which was really important for me since I have a terrible dental track record). I visited Dr. Cho's office to get a crown for one of my molars. I've had my share of painful drill to teeth experiences, so I was not excited about this visit. Watch your money! They gave me a proposed treatment plan for some work and told me I had to leave a deposit. I then moved and did not get the work done. In requesting a return of my deposit I was told that money went to X-rays which they billed my insurance for as well. I then asked for a receipt so I could see where my money went and am being completely ignored. Always ask for a copy of any monetary transactions and always check with your insurance to see what this office actually billed, Shady place. read more

As painful as visit to the dentist can be...the staff there put me at ease..I had an dental emergency...Unfortunately, I had to remove three wisdom teeth that I neglected for a long time.ouch!!! I felt nausea from the pain I was in... I cannot express the gratitude of my dentist showing no mercy and taking on the challenge...I was in pain and they took care of me right away and the staff there are all so very resourceful. Although it was a traggic valentines day for me...haha!!! My first yelp review and it's for a dentist - the person that many people dread seeing the most. But not me! Dr. Cho has been my dentist for the past 3 years and there's never been a reason for me to look elsewhere. His level of professionalism and excellent service makes my trip to the dentist a pleasant experience every time. If there's one thing that I really appreciate about Dr. Cho, it's that he always goes the extra mile to provide the best care possible - whether it's calling me to check on my pain level or even arranging an emergency treatment session when I developed an abscess. That's why there is no other dentist that I trust more than Dr. Cho. I used to see him when he practiced up in La Crescenta and I jumped up for joy when I found out that he was starting a practice down in Long Beach - much closer to where I live. I went in for a check-up a few weeks ago and I really liked his new practice. First of all, I was so impressed by Dr. Cho's staff. I've visited his other office but I can honestly say that this group beats them by a mile. They are the nicest, most friendliest group of staff members that I've ever met and they alone made my visit to the dentist such a pleasant experience.
