THE CAR WASH DENTIST/"WE'RE NOT A CAR WASH!"…read more A decade ago, when I lived nearby, this was my dentist. Their building and furnishings weren't as swanky as they are now. I found out why yesterday. I was in town, so I called to ask if an opening was available for a cleaning, by itself. No x-rays, exam costs, etc. Cleaning only. They said yes. I asked again to be crystal clear on the cost. Told $220. Agreed. They said but not this week, not until next week but we'll call you. I drove the hour back home. As soon as I got back, they called with good news that an opening had appeared that afternoon. I asked again if a cleaning was possible a la carte. Told yes, again. I drove back. I asked if a cleaning was available, by itself. No x-rays, exam costs, etc. Cleaning only. They said yes. I asked again to be crystal clear on the cost. Told $220. Agreed. Upon arrival, I was told I had to complete 9 separate forms. I did so. One of the questions asked what name I like to be called. I entered "Alex." Receptionist then stated that the best deal for me would be to pay $399/year for their annual maintenance package. I declined, indicating I no longer live in town. I waited in their swanky reception area. After awhile, someone called out "Come back, Ivan!" So much for asking me what name to be called. No biggie. I enter the room and remove my jacket. There's a hook on the wall with a garment on the lower hook. I look at it as the attendant tells me I'm afraid there's no place for your coat. I look at her. She says well you could put it there. I do. The dentist walks in and, while behind me and apparently speaking with the other lady, asks "What's your complaint?"; I didn't even know she was speaking to me, as I'd just filled out 9 forms indicating none. She repeated herself and I realized she was speaking to me and I said, oh no complaints I just want a cleaning. She says well it's been 9 years since you've been here, so I need an x-ray. I said "But I have no issues or complaints, I specifically asked if you did cleanings alone and was told yes." She said why don't you want one? I said because I don't want to spend the extra money unnecessarily on that, in addition to the cleaning cost. She asked if I'd like her to show me prices. I said no thanks. She then offered me the $399/year package. I said no thanks, that was offered by the receptionist. She said "We're not a car wash!".... Well, that's good because I'm not a car. I explained that I specifically asked this twice on the phone, and that if this is their policy then they should make sure that it's clearly conveyed by staff. She dismissed that as not an issue. I said it is an issue, as I will now have done two hours of driving for no reason. She dismissed the miscommunication as not really being their fault and then asserted that she cared about my dental health and wouldn't I like to spend more money? I see why their offices are swanky now. It's an upsell center that behaved just like the car wash earlier in the day that insisted the wheel wells wouldn't get washed unless I bought the more expensive undercarriage package, and then repeated the offer after I'd declined. Scammy, dishonest, disrespectful, rude, irresponsible, poor communication to put it mildly, bait and switch.

I was recommended to this establishment to get a flipper to fill in a missing tooth in April 2025…read more I was seen my Dr. Yo .. ( not sure how to spell it ) She was a very nice Doctor . I was charged $900 for the flipper and $400 for a temporary. The temporary was HORRIBLE. I was refunded for the temporary and had to wait 3 weeks without a tooth for the flipper. The flipper came, it was HUGE and did not fit so it was sent back & returned in another 2 weeks.. the second flipper came, and was TOO small & very thin... I was told to try it out and come back if need be. Less than a month later it snapped in half so I came back in, and another flipped was re-ordered. A month later still no flipper. The office told me it was the company they outsourced to that was taking a long time.. 2 months later, 3 months , 4 months later STILL NO FLIPPER. I was told they switched companies to "glide well" to make the piece for me.. 5 months later still no flipper.. I've called multiple times to speak with the Dr. Yo and have been told she's always busy all of a sudden...I decided to go with another company and I asked for a refund . I was told that if I got a refund they would charge me for the chair time , and I've been back and forth multiple times .. Here we are in January 2026, I have still not received my flipper or a refund . It's been 9 months still I've paid for a service I have not received ... i will be back with an update . I would not recommend at allllllll .

Either they just don't care or the left hand has absolutely no idea what the right is doing. Everything looks great and I suppose is intended to be impressive with all the latest tech etc. but when a customer experiences as many issues, mishaps, lack of communication, etc. as I have, then none of that matters. I would encourage the office to focus on the level of service provided to your customers and a little less on having all the latest gizmos. Anyone that believes any of that matters while delivering the poorest customer experience ever (what a title to inherit) is sadly mistaken. I literally picked the office due to the glowing reviews but I would advise anyone who likes to avoid hassle and headache to absolutely stay away. Involving the office manager has not seemed to have made the least bit of difference either. I cannot wait for my treatment to be done (IF that EVER happens) so I can find somewhere else in a hurry. The ONLY thing they have done well is to accept payment and it was all downhill after that.

I rarely leave reviews, but this was one of the worst dental experiences I've had…read more I initially came in for a routine cleaning and to establish a treatment plan. The hygienist was unprofessional, inattentive, and careless. Water was being sprayed all over me the entire time, and I had to repeatedly ask for a spit cup, which she never provided. Another hygienist had to step in to help, which was embarrassing and completely unacceptable. Oh and it took almost a hour to do my xrays. I even communicated to the office manager that I did not want that hygienist if I ever returned, and looking back, that should have been my first sign not to come back at all. I later returned due to a dental emergency to have a crown repaired. From the start, there was confusion about why I was even there. I clearly stated I came for a crown repair and to ask about a possible filling, yet the doctor documented that I was "upset" simply for correcting her. That note was both unprofessional and inaccurate and felt like an attempt to misrepresent me instead of acknowledging the mistake. During the procedure, I experienced intense sensitivity from the cold air and water. I repeatedly told the doctor it was painful and asked for adjustments. She refused and kept insisting it "had to be that way" instead of making even the smallest effort to make me comfortable. Rather than listening, she chose to argue and dismiss what I was saying. I eventually had to stop everything and request another doctor because I could not tolerate it anymore. The second doctor was no better. My mouth was numbed to the point where I could not move it at all and had to have my mouth physically opened. I was in pain for days afterward, which has never happened to me from a dental visit. After all of this, the final result was a crown that left a visible gap between my teeth. Before agreeing to the procedure, I specifically asked if the crown would eliminate the gap that showed with the temporary, and I was told yes. That gap did not exist before my crown broke, yet now it does. When I went back to address it, I had already requested not to see either of the previous doctors, yet they still tried to assign me to one of them or offered a provider fresh out of residency. At that point, it felt like there was no accountability at all. I was then told the gap was caused by the adjacent tooth, which makes no sense given this was not an issue before. This entire experience was frustrating, uncomfortable, and honestly concerning. Between the unprofessional behavior, inaccurate documentation, lack of care for patient comfort, and poor results, I would not recommend this office to anyone.

I'm sharing this review with the hope that it brings more transparency and training to this…read morepractice's approach and serves as a heads-up to first-time patients. During my first visit, I expected a routine cleaning, as is standard at most dental offices. Instead, I paid around $100 for x-rays and a session where the dentist briefly brushed and flossed my teeth, demonstrated a new flossing technique focused on gum health, and measured gum pocket depth. I was then told to follow this routine at home and return in six weeks to assess any changes--no cleaning was performed at that first visit. At the follow-up appointment, I was seen by a different dental hygienist whose overly cheerful and rehearsed demeanor felt disingenuous. While she wasn't overtly rude, the interaction felt hollow and uncomfortable, which added to my unease. During the cleaning, she made a snide comment about my dental habits and then completed the rest of the procedure without much communication. I also noticed an unpleasant personal odor, which was surprising and concerning given the setting. Hygiene and professionalism are especially important in a dental care environment, and this contributed to a sense that standards were not being met. Unfortunately, during this visit, I believe the hygienist injured my gums multiple times due to a careless approach in handling sharp instruments. One area in particular has remained inflamed and possibly infected ever since. There was no review or inspection with the dentist afterward, which I had expected based on past experiences at other dental offices. As I was walked to the checkout counter, the hygienist casually mentioned that I "might need antibiotics" in six months if the issue with my gums didn't resolve -- an issue I am not sure I had walking in to this appointment. I never saw the dentist again during that visit, and no additional guidance or follow-up was provided beyond the flossing and brushing routine recommended weeks earlier. This entire experience left me shaken and disappointed. I have no history of gum issues or needing oral antibiotics, and this visit left me worse off than when I arrived. I haven't felt comfortable speaking up, but I'm sharing this because no one should leave a dental visit with lingering pain or uncertainty about the care they received. I genuinely hope this office takes the opportunity to improve how it communicates services upfront and invests in better training for staff--especially when it comes to patient care, professionalism, and technique. Patients deserve clear communication and quality care that prioritizes their well-being and comfort.
