I don't have any sensitivity to hot or cold beverages and the filling blends well with my teeth. I highly recommend this dental office!

So disappointed and now very angry. We trusted Restoration Dental with our family's dental care for…read moreyears. They kept telling us that our children needed a special toothpaste to remineralize their teeth to avoid cavities, but every 6 months they needed multiple fillings, sometimes multiple sides on a tooth. One child had so many fillings (10-12 teeth) that I finally called to check which teeth had gotten done before. Some teeth had been done more than once, but they told me they were different spots on the same tooth. My youngest was leaving for college last year and yet again they told us he had 3 teeth with cavities, but they could "squeeze" him in right then. That way he could be done before he left for college. We took care of them. Those three teeth were $1042. Fast forward, he returns from college, goes for his cleaning and now he has 3 more teeth with cavities at an estimated cost o $975. He was home for summer, so they scheduled him for a while later. Luckily for us, we moved and found another dentist near our new home. We forwarded his records to the new dentist and scheduled an appointmemt to take care of the 3 teeth that had multiple cavities. My son went to the appointment and came home in less than 30 minutes. The dentist looked at his X-rays, took new ones and said they did not see any cavities! In fact they looked at the cavities that had been filled PREVIOUSLY on the X-rays and said they would not have filled most of them. They showed him and me what to look for on an X-ray, so we could see for ourselves. Going to Restoration Dental cost us thousands of dollars in unnecessary fillings. Nevermind the trauma that my children had to endure with getting shots and further tooth damage for the unnecessary drilling that was done to "clean out" nonexisting cavities. Now my children have the good fortune of looking forwards to possibly having these unnecessary fillings weaken their teeth over time and potentially cause broken teeth, more painful procedures and bigger bills as they get older. I have attached a copy of the last estimate for my son (look how many more teeth they were "watching"). LET ME REPEAT THAT THE NEW DENTIST DID NOT SEE ONE ISSUE THAT WAS ON THE ESTIMATE, AND LOOKED AT HIS PREVIOUSLY FILLED CAVITIES AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT HAVE FILLED MOST OF THEM. If you choose to go to this dentist, don't trust what they say, have them prove it to you. Btw, I noticed there is another review complaining of the same thing. This practice should refund my money and pay me for damaging my children's teeth. I am trying to see where I can legally report them.

This was my second round of braces, and I have so many complaints that I feel compelled to warn…read moreothers. Let's start with the fact that this dental office does not have sinks. Yes, you read that right--no sinks in the rooms. When I came in for a cleaning, there was no rinsing or spitting because they simply don't have the facilities. The issues didn't stop there. I already had braces on when I scheduled my cleaning, but when I arrived, the hygienist was upset with me for having braces during the cleaning. She claimed I should've had three separate appointments: one for removing the braces, one for the cleaning, and then another for putting the braces back on. She made her frustration very clear, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. Throughout my treatment, they switched my orthodontist multiple times with no explanation. Each time, I had to sit there while someone new reviewed my chart, which felt incredibly unprofessional and unsettling. On top of that, they kept asking if I was satisfied with how my teeth looked. How am I supposed to know what my teeth should look like? Isn't that their job to determine and fix? For context, I got braces to correct flaring and a few spaces in my teeth. While the spaces seemed closed, the flaring wasn't fixed at all. Honestly, my first round of braces 10 years ago gave me better results than this round ever did. The only reason I needed braces again was that I didn't wear my retainers back then. This time, I was determined to do everything right, but Pure Dental Health completely dropped the ball. When it came time to remove my braces, they didn't even know I was scheduled for the appointment. Worse yet, my retainers weren't ready. I had to be fitted for them after my removal appointment, which meant scheduling another visit. I had also asked about permanent retainers before my removal appointment and was told they would cost $600. I asked if I owed anything else for my braces, and they assured me I didn't. Then, on the day of removal, they suddenly told me I owed $600 for the braces removal, meaning I'd have to pay $1,200 total for both. At that point, I refused to pay for the permanent retainers and just paid for the braces removal. This back-and-forth was unprofessional, poorly communicated, and frustrating.

During the procedure I could tell the oral surgeon was having trouble extracting the root. I heard / felt him slip several times and whack the surrounding teeth hard. He even said out loud 'well there's another tooth we'll have to fix'. I could feel that part of a veneer was missing and some other teeth were chipped. After it was over they recommended that I pay to have all my veneers replaced in order to correct the problem they had just caused. When I pushed back they grudgingly decided to patch it. The repair was so bad it cut the inside of my lip constantly. When it finally failed and fell off I went back to the office where they said they would 'decide what to do'. As of today that decision was to tell me to pay in full for a new veneer or leave. The dentist also told me there was decay starting in the exposed tooth, but again denying responsibility. I cannot recommend this office to anyone.

Following the cavity filling, I had a negative experience with my dental cleaning and had no plans to return. She was very rough but bo longer works there. I ended up cancelling my follow up but spoke to my friend and she recommended changing to Jay. Jay is the best dental cleaning I have had. They do not accept DHMO or DMO and they don't confirm your insurance until you check out. There was no intake or let us update your info/ insurance when I walked in which I thought was weird. That is the first thing that I've been asked to do but I unfortunately assumed that I was all good. Typically I have had all medical confirm beforehand so I'm at least aware of the cost. I had to pay $280 for a dental cleaning appointment. When I asked the check out about last year, she said I paid out of pocket as well which was fine. However I paid in full each time and randomly have a $4 charge on my receipt for a starting period of September. I had no appointment in September but I don't know why I was retro charged when I checked out each time. The line item also provides no detail. I would have cancelled the appointment if I had known so I'll be cancelling my future appointments for the year. To me that cost is too much so I won't be returning. I'll be reimbursing myself through HSA for the cost. The front desk, specifically the Caucasian front desk employees, should ask people their name and appointment time. That's front desk etiquette to me and eliminates any assumptions based off skin color, race, or gender. I'm not sure why that's hard but it was giving - I grew up in "whites only" and have not changed. They do offer invisalign but I ended up going somewhere else for a lower payment plan. They only offered 4 payments and I had other financial commitments so I wasn't willing to pay. Cons are the price, paying for parking and communication based on the above.

I researched and really liked the "feel" of Atlanta Dental Spa. Their "No Judgement" attitude is what I liked the most. I walked in the front door (BIG step) and Tiara took such great care of me. She is so sweet!! After x-rays and scans, I met with Dr. Gandhi who was very understanding of my fear. He was gentle and explained everything that needed to be done and what those options were. It was scary looking at all that was needed, but they offer sedation dentistry and that's what I did. After a good couple of hours of being "consciously knocked out", Dr. Gandhi, Whitney and Britney got the work done! I left being able to smile showing my teeth for the first time in years! But more so, correcting the things that could affect the rest of my health. After I got home I did NOT have ANY pain which is saying a lot as I had a ton of work done. They said that days 3-4 might be the worst for pain, but there was NONE. And that's taking nothing but ibuprofen. The advancement of dentistry is amazing. You know how sometimes, they like to poke with sharp objects at your gums and you start to wince, bleed, and all that? I haven't had many issues with that here. They are up to date on all the modern tools and technology. It really is amazing how thorough and great they are. Now, unfortunately, I like to talk, but with tools in my mouth, I can't really hold a conversation. Just lots of "uh huh! and uh uhs" lol Lastly, Dr. Hill is fantastic. He will listen to your concerns and provide whatever options he thinks is best for your situation. He is patient with his patients, as I can attest (story time below). Oh yea, the office got a MAJOR upgrade. They expanded their office and is sooo nice, modern, and spacious now. So when you exit the elevator, make sure you go left instead of right. The waiting area has PLENTY of room now. It's incredible. - Story time? Okay, I went through the process of sure smile aligners. They are very thorough and will show you what your teeth will look like at the end of the process. You will also be able to get refinements at the end if you are not completely satisfied with your smile. They will walk you through what to expect every step of the way and will happily answer any and all questions. Well since we were in the pandemic, I figured, most people won't be gathering for dinners, and most people won't see my smile throughout the process, unless it's on a zoom call or face time. Perfect time to get these right? 10/10 do not regret my decision at all. I finished earlier this year, refinements included. Compared to what it was before, I freakin LOVE my smile. The end result would make any person happy. And it did. BUT... now that people are getting back to taking group photos, I started to notice some very minor things that made me personally feel self conscious when smiling. It's one tooth and even my bf was like "I think your smile looks great!" He and others don't see what I see. As a designer, I literally deal with making things pixel perfect every day so I notice even the smallest things. It's a blessing and a curse. Even though it's been 3-ish months since I finished, I came in and asked Dr. Hill what my options are. He joked that they work in millimeters so he fully understands and sees what I see. He offered a few solutions, but the one we agreed to was getting more refinements. I appreciate that they didn't groan at me nitpicking over the smallest thing. They were patient with me and I truly appreciate their willingness to make me happy. Jennifer asked me what Dr. Hill is going to do for me and if I'm happy with the solution offered. They genuinely show they care about the people they help. - Closing thoughts: I started coming here when I lived walking distance in Midtown. And even though I now live closer to Decatur, I still make the trip here because they are truly one of the best dentist offices I've experienced. Unless I leave Atlanta, I will continue coming here. The drive is worth every mile.
