John Cole Plumbing (JCP) re-piped my crawl space in August. We had a couple of post-piping leaks, not totally unexpected on a large job like this, but annoying never-the-less. JCP returned immediately and totally repaired the leaks before any damage could occur. I absolutely believe that the real test of a service company's true value is not only in the quality of their initial work, but the immediacy and thoroughness of their response when things go south. JCP gets an "A" for their service. And I have had two other occasions in which a JCP technician (Edgar) came to my home. He was professional in every way: Articulate, able to explain exactly what he would be doing, easy to work with, competent, and most of all, trustworthy. I have asked JCP to always send Edgar on any future work in my home. read more

I was lucky to get an appointment with John Cole's Plumbing within a day of my calling them to address two small issues I was having in my new home. Marcus arrived and made the repairs quickly and efficiently, thoroughly explaining what needed to be done. He was professional and competent, and I am so happy that I've already got a fabulous new plumbing company just after moving to the area! read more

We contacted John Cole's because we had an odd noise coming from our tankless water heater. They came out and did a full review, serviced it and found the problem pretty quickly. It is running great and the problem was resolved. Marcus was an excellent service man and so helpful! Typically when you call a plumber you estimate the cost will be high. John Cole's is very reasonable! Highly recommend for all your plumbing needs! read more

Twice within a month had a need for a plumber. We had a main water line leak in our front yard, of course after hours. Their tech. came out quickly identified where the source of the leak was and had it repaired right away. 3 weeks later, an issue while having kitchen renovation work completed and a line was cut to close to he wall during the demo under the brand new sink base - fearing we would be damaging the new cabinetry and flooring, they came on the scene and were able to get new piping for the drain(s) installed and connected all the water lines. Delan was our tech, polite, swift, effective. Will use again. They are a little higher than competitors, but peace of mind with water lines - priceless. W. read more

Had JC Plumbing out to fix a slow/blocked drain from a kitchen that another company said they could not fix. This drain was disgusting--I have no idea what the previous owners put down there but it must have been pounds of grease!! They did everything to clear the pipes that others would not tackle. We're grateful for their determination, creativity to solve the problem, and dedication to see the job finished. read more

Reggie and his team (Clay and Christian and Noah) were outstanding to work with, I couldn't be happier with the job they did! I highly recommend John Cole Plumbing, it is rare that one has such an exceptional customer experience. I have an old house with a LOT of plumbing issues and Reggie was professional, courteous, highly knowledgeable, responsive and very affordable. I had such an awesome experience, they will be my first call when I inevitably need a plumber again. Thank you John Cole Plumbing and Reggie/Christian/Clay/Noah!! read more

I had them out to look at installing a backflow valve at a house I just purchased. They promptly came out and helped me come up with a solution that worked best for me. (They call to let you know if they're on the way! They were actually a tad early!) My pressure dissipated after they fixed my hydrant. They came out twice immediately the same day!! They discovered the cause of the pressure loss and fixed it for only the cost of parts! What an amazing business. I met three of their plumbers. They were all fantastic. I highly recommend them. read more

Blatant disregard for the law and their customers or just poorly managed? I have used Cole plumbing on 3 different occasions. This was not my choice but my contractor who subs out his plumbing work. On each occasion, the same employees were sent to the job to do the required work. In June of last year, EO147 requires all companies and employees to wear masks. While violations of this may not bother some, because my wife has a terminal lung disease, it is very important to us. If she were to contract covid, she would die. The employees of Cole knew this and they continually refused to abide by the law each visit. I called Cole plumbing and asked to speak with Mr Cole to address this with him since it clearly states in EO147 it is the responsibility of the company, and not the employee to insure compliance. I was told by the person answering the phone, Mr Cole had taken the rest of the day off and if this was a complaint. I said it was and she said she would have him call me the next day. I never heard back from Mr Cole. I felt I did the right thing in trying to contact Mr Cole and let him know what was going on in case it was a rogue employee, not just ignorance or unwillingness to follow the law. He never called me back. Its easy to see how his employees are so cavalier about respect for their customers and state laws as it always starts at the top. As such, I was forced to report Cole Plumbing and felt it important, in case others feel finding contractors with matching morals/standards and ethics is important to post my experience on review sites. Just to be clear, this is not a review about Cole plumbing skills as they are adequate and got the job done on each occasion. What is this about is the fact the employees and management refusal to abide by state law and disregard for their customers and whether readers want to support companies with those standards. read more

I should have investigated the problem before calling John Coles Plumbing. The technician/plumber discovered that my shower head was clogged and dirty. It was embarrassing and definitely my mistake. After spending 5-10 minutes cleaning the shower head, the technician handed me an invoice for $208.00. Absolutely no integrity. I will not use them again. read more

We called John Coles Plumbing because we had a leaking garbage disposal. Tony and Teo came and did an excellent job. They were honest about the problem and gave us the best options. They were kind and courteous and very professional. We decided to replace the disposal and they completed the entire job in less than an hour for a very reasonable price. I would recommend these guys for any plumbing needs. read more

Called a few weeks ago to have a quote on removal of toilet and pedestal sink. These folks are professional and courteous. Tony did an excellent job! Helpful, knowledgeable and cleaned up nicely. Thank you John Cole Plumbing, a job well done!! Will call again for sure!! read more

We had our bathrooms remodeled and had all new water lines and 2 new drains put in. If you get a hold of Mr Cole he will make his employees go do the job correctly, but if you don't, it's done improperly. They had to redo everything 3 times. Unfortunately, we didn't have the vanities installed until a week or so after the plumbing was done. Upon installing the vanities we found out that they never measure where to put the water lines or how high to put the drains. Even after I showed them where the vanities were and showed them the backs. I pointed out that the one has drawers and might need things adjusted around them. Nothing fits properly and the guy they sent out couldn't have cared less. We have had to hire another plumber to do the drains and adjust the height of the water lines. We will also have to patch all of the brand new drywall that the new plumbers will be cutting through. After seeing the work that the gentleman from John Cole's Plumbing, did I seriously doubt he was a plumber. I'm sure Mr Cole is, but he's not the one that did the work. read more

They came out a few weeks ago to fix a water pressure problem. The guy was nice but did not itemize his bill. He just charged me $225 so I don't know what was parts and what was house call. So I called the office because he had to order parts and asked about the bill because he was going to charge me another $125 to come back. I wanted to make sure I wasn't being charged twice for house call. The lady said she would check on it and call me back. She never returned my call. Then on the day of my appt for him to come finish the job she calls after my scheduled appt time to reschedule. I had already rearranged my schedule for the appt. I would not recommend using them. read more
